OEM charger for Galaxy Player 4.2? - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

Anyone know where I can get an OEM or aftermarket charger for the GP 4.2? I bought the 4.2 from Daily Steals but it was the United Kingdom version and included the European AC adapter.

the micro side of the USB cable has a slightly different handle style, but the actual wall charger is identical to the one that came with my 5.0
But really, any standardized cell phone charger should do the trick.

Thank you.

European Hero - US Wall Charger?

Hey all, I'm planning on getting a Hero online since I do not like Sprint's version.
I was wondering what you US users that imported the Hero use to charge your Hero via wall charger. Old iPhone charger? Old G1 charger? If not, did you buy one from somewhere? Any recommendations are welcome!
Thank you!
USB? (And I think the USB-to-wall-thingie came with a changable wall-piece
You can use a mini usb to recharge the phone. I just used my old blackberry mini usb wall charger rather than buying a new one. It will also work plugged into the computer but it takes too long to charge that way.
g1 charger will do fine
The charger supplied with the European Hero handles 100-240V 50-60HZ so you should be ok with just a converter plug. The original charger also has a replaceable wall-piece which can be fitted with plugs as necessary. It only comes with one depending on the market where it is purchased, but there's at least Euopean, UK and US plugs available.
Then there's the option of using any USB charger on the market.

Is it possible to buy just the plug????

I own a hd2 English version and I use it in Italy. Since the unit has the British plug, I use an adapter but that's not the best solution, considering the power adapter has the possibility to use different plugs. And here is my question: where can I find the Italian plug that can be added to the charger??? I have been looking on the ebay but to no avail...any tip???
why not just buy separate USB wall charger with European plug, for example sth like this one: http://www.artwizz.de/product_info.php?info=p312_PowerPlug--2nd-Generation-.html&artID=305,
anyone should work, although it's better to have 1A than the lower ones

Well, thanks, that's easy and I was looking for the oem (original) plug! Anyway I'll keep an eye even on this solution.
Here is a link to the piece I was looking for:

unfortunately, having it shipped to Italy is not worth the price...

Alternative mains charger

If anyone is looking for an alternative mains charger I can confirm that the charger for the current LG portable DVD range will fit just fine. They provide a full 2A current, so they are plenty strong enough for our tablets. These are readily available and reliable.
LG Models DP371B and DP581B and probably many more.
This is the way that I charge my g-Tablet in the UK, where US mains sockets are in short supply.
Do you mean this one?

That looks like the one that comes with the g-tablet. I saw a few people asking about alternatives and thought I'd share a working solution.
BTW the portable DVD players also come with regulating car power adapters which should work with the g-tablet.
If anyone knows where to buy alternative clip-in country-specific connectors for the standard power supply unit could they please let me know where to find them.

Will Galaxy S3 UK power adapter work in North America?

Title says it all. Any ideas?
It might and might not work in North America, because in UK the power current is 220V whereas in US it's 120V but it the power input for the adapter is from 120V to 220V then it will work. And also the plug might be different, so you might need a "UK to USA Plug Adapter".
no it will not work. you can either get a USB>Wall adapter, or you can go out and buy any microUSB charger. ive been buying samsung phones from the UK for 4 years now, the chargers are useless for us. you CAN however buy a UK>USA adapter at radio shack for 9 dollars (best option)

Hi, I live in Canada and my galaxy s3 came with a international charger from Europe. Obviously I can't use that charger here.. But will buying a europe to USA adapter here be good enough? Will it damage the device if I charge it that way?

Charging

Hi, first Sony smartphone, long overdue. Anyways, is the magnetic charger on the side the only way to charge it? does it use standard microUSB?
also, international ZU owners, can anyone confirm if this comes with a 2 pronged US adapter? ( I'm betting against it).
I seen an unboxing that came with a dock, is that the "big-box" Taiwan one only?
Any car chargers showing up yet??
From what i understand (i dont own one) there is also a regular MicroUSB port hidden under a waterproof flap.

So far it seems that the magnetic charging cum dock is available in Taiwan boxes. Mine is a Hong Kong set and it doesn't come with it. I don't think Malaysian sets have it too.
There's of course a standard microUSB charging dock. It's located at the top left and hidden under a flap.
All the z ultra accessories need wait until next month. because this device just launched on 5 August at low yatt plaza. Form the Sony staff information the dock maybe can get after hari raya but the sbh52 bluetooh headset no ideal yet..... The dock not expensive I think around Rm199-229 the sbh52 around Rm259-299 maybe higher . The price info come from internet.

Ah yes, the Sony cum dock
It uses a standard micro usb slot and charger. Mine did not come with a US charger but the vendor gave me a US conversion adapter. I just use my old Samsung charger I used on my S4 and it works fine.
Any good quality micro usb charger of > 1.5A @ 5V will work fine. I use a Samsung charger rated at 2A
