Just purchased from woot. Great sound quality by the way.

Unfortunately only the voice control button works. Phone does not respond to volume control or track seek. Is this an iphone only feature or is there a hack out there somewhere? I am a fiber optics tech so my hands are usually busy. Its a pain digging the phone out everytime i want to change a track or adjust the volume.

The app "headset button controller" will cure that problem.

Was hoping to utilize the extra two buttons but this will get me started. Thanks!

Back when I had a blackberry I loved the ability to adjust volume and skip tracks with the side up/down buttons. Even while the screen is off in sleep mode. All you had to do is hold either the up or down button to skip back or forward. Right now all we can do is adjust volume. Possibly maybe there is someone out there that can modify the player to do this also???? It was VERY convenient not having to wake up the phone and flip thru a couple screens just to select the next button. Im sure everyone out there would have to agree. Devs! Im counting on you to figure this one out!

Use the earphone that came with phone.
Double pressing the mic button will go to next song

Is there a way to link the ringtone and notification volumes? Or is there an easier way to adjust notification without hunting through settings each time? With cm7 these two were linked in fact I think it its line that in an aosp ROM.

Not to thread jack, but in a related issue...
When I play pandora and output to a set of external speakers via the headphone jack, I must turn the media volume level all the way up for the speakers to play at a reasonable level...
After awhile, the volume just decreases... I try pressing the volume UP key but there is a message that says something to the effect of "playing at high volume for extended time can damage hearing." Is there a way to disable the message and volume attenuation that occurs from playing media files at highest volume for extended time... I searched through the settings and googled this but nothing comes up...

Looking for a solution to this too... I wasn't sure if this was an option stock or not, I guess not. I'm running unnamed and was going to suggest it to gtg, once I get enough posts to post in that forum
You can long press on your home screen and add shortcut, settings, then sounds.
It's not exactly a no effort way, but it will make adjusting the volume quicker.

Haven't run into that problem myself. But there are a few apps on the market that can boost audio volume to your headphone Jack.

Download the app called "quick settings" it allows you to link them in its volume control section of the app. That's how I link them.

Thanks, I might check that out, although I'd prefer not to have an app to do this.
Anyone know where I could find something or maybe a build.prop tweak so I don't have to turn the screen/ unlock to change songs.

If you're using your stock headphones you can double click the pause button for next track. The real question is if anyone knows where you can buy a line-in with the volume rocker and pause button on it, for the car...
They managed to do it for the htc evo with aokp. Was one of the few things I loved the most about it.

Quick search delivered no results.
When docked, I have no control of the volume of my audio with the remote. Its either full or muted.
I'm on The Bill's Liquid Jellybean ROM and am happy to try an app, tasker setting or hack.
Any ideas?

So this is a bit backward, but I'm looking for a bluetooth or wifi remote I can clip to my belt tocontrol the music coming from my phone. I wear a sterile surgical gown when I work but would like to be able to advance a song or change volume through my gown. The iphone has such a remote but never seen android remote. Anyone?
