Battery stats acting wierd - HTC Radar

After flashing my HTC radar the battery stats are acting wierd.
After recharging the battery the indicator shows an empty battery, but after a restart of the phone the battery indicator is full.
What can be the reason for this, and more important, how can i correct this.
It's the same for all of the roms i tried. I am not on 7.8 yet but i used WPV, DFT freedom rom and HD2O rom.
So i have a question, am i the only one who has this problem? I am not reading anything on this issue.
Does anyone have an fix for this.

Same issue, after 7-8 month of using a Radar, same problem occured. In first on original firmware, then on custom roms.
I think problem is in battery.

Prophet runs out of power when battery is at 17%

Hi,
since I flashed Crystal V4 onto my VPA compact s, the phone reports out of battery power when all battery indicators actually show around 15% to 17% battery left. It shuts down and can't be restarted without plugging in the charger first. Is this a common known issue? Could it be caused by overclocking (to 260 Mhz). Can this somehow be fixed?
Apart from that: superb ROM.

same problem with Aserg WM5 rom when battery indicators show around 15% to 17% battery left, it shuts down
try not to overclock your prophet, see if it helps....
how much time does it take to come down from 100 % to 15% ,24 hours or 48 hours or more ?
when push mail is activate 24/48 hours, if not activate more 72/96 hours
Surprisingly yesterday my Qtek S200 with Mysterious 1.0 did the same thing, with only 20% left, it keep rebooting like if the battery was low...
I actually have had the same issue happen twice and I lost everything sinceI did a hard reset. The first time I thought it was maybe the battery since it only turned on while being charged. I got a new battery and it worked for a while but last Friday it happened again and lost everything again. Not sure how low was the battery but I am beginning to suspect that maybe the internal battery is messed up. Can anyone tell me if that is the case. I also stopped overclocking but it happened a second time.
Sorry for that but as a note Prophet doesn't have internal battery as it stores its user's data on a ROM not RAM. Internal battery was in Win 2003SE and previous. By the way, I've the same problem with WM5 NoID version.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought there was some kind of internal battery that ran the memory such as the clock and this is why they tell you to remove the battery for more than 15minutes to reset the device.

Battery Drainage

Hello,
I seem to have come accross a weird problem on wm6 for the hurricane.
after a few weeks of usage i get a huge drain on my battery.
for example: when i go to sleep u put it on my nightstand with 88% of battery and a few hours later when i wake up it is down to 2% and it is switched off. Charging goed pretty well but i then again it starts draining.
When i do a hard reset the problem is gone and it comes back in a few weeks.
This happens with any WM6 rom from the forum. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this? i'm using the only correct SPL for all i know. Maybe there is a new one or somethinng? Perhaps that can also improve my reception?
I have the same problem with 5X6WM6_1010_yahei_pp8_by_Sky

Battery Reading Issue, Want Answers

I have a battery reading issue on my Motorola RAZR. Whenever I use a ROM with one percent battery mod, two things happen:
a) It stops charging at 95-96 % (says "full") Not really an issue, if I leave it longer it eventually goes to 100.
b) Dramatic 10 percent(ish) drop. One second it'll be on 27% and then it'll drop to say, 19. It only does this once per charge, and I don't think it's ever at the same level when it does it.
Why does this happen? Is it common? Web search had no answers.
And please don't tell me to calibrate my battery. Not only is that a debunked myth, but I've tried it several times (through an app, and manually through recovery) and it hasn't worked.
Responses are appreciated
Anyone?
Sent from my Nexus 7 running CM10
Strange battery readings are not unusual after flashing a new rom. I've seen sudden big drops. I've also seen increases in my battery percentage. Eventually after several charging/discharging cycles you should get more accurate battery readings and you shouldn't see such strange behavior.

[Q] Battery status is off

I've had my G-Tablet for over six months and its awesome. The specs are very high for a older tablet so JB Smooth Bean works great. The problem I've had since the first ROM is the battery status. It never charges to past 96%.
I've wiped everything on the tablet! Cleared the battery status in the rom, discharging the batter to 0% and then wiping the battery status in the ROM before charging!
Battery life is still 10hr so the batter holds a charge. I'm wondering if the battery is bad or is it a system issue.
It's a known issue. I haven't been able to fix it myself but then again it doesn't bother me too much. There might be a solution on the forum somewhere...

[Q] Severe battery trouble

Hi There:
Not sure if anyone is exprience this problem.
My battery completly drains a second after it says is at 40%.
I've installed several ROMS (Cianogenmod 10, toldo's, official) to see if it was a ROM problem. No luck. I'm current in toldos's v7
Installed several Kernels, No luck. Actually i'm with A1 kernel
Tried several battery calibration aplicacions apps. No luck.
Problem presists.
It`s not that the battery drains fast, is that everything goes oK till battery reaches a point below 40% and the next second it says it only has 2% or 1% and can stay there for some time (even two hours sometimes.
Anyone has any idea what could be happening, because i don't think is a battery problem.
Thanks evey one
fault battery
probably the battery is gonna die
