Is it possible to download it somewhere and then flash it?
If someone were to create a rooted version of that ROM, otherwise you could run into problems

I see, you know where I could find something like that?
I couldn't find one, but you should try flashing this ROM which is ICS and Sense 4.0

Yeah you actually have to wipe, but titanium backup can backup all apps and data, as well as call log and sms/mms

I've tried to respond earlier but was having CAPTCHA security.
It didn't work. attached is a snippet of the end of the process in the command prompt.

Nobody, nobody ever uses Google. Why, I don't know at all. This guy seems to have rooted his phone pretty nicely.

Also, you can Google for "NovaDroid", a custom ROM made for your phone.

Use the Fastboot Method with:* cwm-recovery-S9300-S3.img.7z - S9300 (SC6820A S3 Clone)
This worked for my Chinese feiteng a7100 SC6820A s3 clone.
Good Luck

Do you have fastboot on your phone? If so did you try some of the other cwm's? I tried the others but the S3 CLONE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKED ON MY PHONE. If not, did you try the researchdownload method described later on in the tutorial using the same CWM's? I know it is a frustrating process. It took me a month to find a successful process.
Try Z4root.apk to root ur chinese android ...
If not use Unlock root.exe.
Plz make sure that u had ur USB drivers installed of ur phone..

Most of the root apps requires busybox installed so if you plan to install many root apps then yes it's quite important to have it.

Safe in what way? You've just rooted your phone. That was far more unsafe than adding busy box! Lol

Yes. Just search on the playstore and you'll find one. Make sure to read the reviews too. I personally have Busybox Pro installed so i recommend that one too however you need to buy it. There are others that are free though.
