Hi all!
So i got an HTC Desire X. And there are a lot of apps in my app drawer. Do you know any method that I can organize the app drawer by rearranging the apps (I can order them by most recent and alphabetical only) or creating folders?
Thanks for your help

There are several stock ICS/JB based Launchers available like Nova, Apex etc. which has the ability to customize the App Drawer.

Your phone is already using a launcher, when you go 'home' on the device is simply runs an app (this is the launcher) on HTC devices this is the sense launcher but you can easily install another from the play store and when you press home it will ask which you would like to use.
root is NOT required

HI does anyone know how I can change the app drawer in lp?
I searched but I wasn't successful.
Maybe is there an app that contains several different drawers so I can assign that app on launcher pro?
Please reply.
Thanks in advance
I'm no expert, but you can use alt drawer, and assign the shortcut in LP
There are several apps (for free!) on the market and elsewhere that you can use as alternative app drawers, which you can download and set as the shortcut where the LP app drawer shortcut would be normally. I was using LP+ for a while with the app drawer shortcut set to open my stock app drawer (Motoblur on a Droid2 Global) and it worked just fine.
It would really be great if LP had an option to customize the drawer aside from size, though... GO Launcher wins that category, in my opinion.

Can you name me some good apps please.
And do you know how I can get the xperia style app drawer, where all the apps are on a transparent glass and you just swipe horizontally to move onto another page. It would be great if I can do this.

If that is what you want you can use a theme, there must be a glass theme i guess. In LP you can already swype in the app drawer from one page to the next one, or is that in Go Launcher? (I dont use LP since a while ago and cannot remember correctly) In Go Launcher you can choose to swype horizontally or vertically, also you can apply any of the lots of themes and there is a glass one
If this does not satisfy you you can use Altdrawer as somebody said above, here is the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154299&highlight=altdrawer
AltDrawer is definitely a good one, and I'm sure there are others. GO Launcher Ex is a really good option too. I'm using it right now and there's tons of support for themes and customization, including the app drawer.
I don't link Alt Drawer since it takes long to start up and most importantly it does not even look like the xperia style app drawer.
btw does anyone know of any good glass themes for lp?
I use "all apps organizer" with launcher pro and it works perfectly

Just go into the market and search for launcher pro themes there you can see how they look like.
But I'm sure the themes only edit the widgets not the app drawer, that's from what I know

The themes also replace the app icons for examle the ios theme changes all the icons to ios style so also the icons in the app drawer will be changed.
Why dont you just try? If you dont like it you can just remove it

But the only reason I want a theme, is to change the app drawer.

Guys its ok I decided not to use the app drawer but instead put all app shortcuts in the homescreen (I got this idea when I tried the MIUI launcher).
However does anyone know how I can add the app drawer shortcut in the desktop not the dock so that I can open the app drawer and create a shortcut for newly installed apps.
I have research this... and no,you cannot add app drawer shortcut on homescreen. Sorry.
Leave a thanks if I helped...

i hate the ics app drawer, because it's sorted by name
i like an app drawer that is like the touchwiz one, so that you can choose the order of the apps by yourself.
is ther an option to make this in any its rom or any ics launcher?
thank you!
Install a new launcher.

I can't tell you which one you'll like. Search the "Play Store" (formerly known as Market) for "launcher". You'll have your pick. Install and test until you find on you like.

Dude, clearly you can't read, either.
Look - if you are dissatisfied with how your app drawer currently functions, try changing the settings. If you can't get the app drawer to how you like it, then INSTALL ANOTHER LAUNCHER to change your app drawer.
This isn't rocket science. I'm not trying to be mean here, but I've basically said the exact same thing in three posts.
sorry am a noob...

Can't I'm afraid. Installing a new launcher will mean that you have to add shortcuts and widgets back to the home screen. However if you switch back to the stock launcher they will still be there. Aftermarket launchers also handle the home screens.

I really like the new TW launcher in latest leaked JB and I would use it on daily basis if it would support multi dpi settings.. but it doesn't so I'm looking for a launcher that is similar to TW.
Specifically I'm looking for a launcher that as smooth as Apex or Nova but but supports folders within application drawer. The only I know of is GO but its so overloaded that I don't want to use it really. Apex, Nova don't support folders in a drawer do they. I've got 100+ apk on my phone so don't want to scroll through them each time i'm looking for something.
And there as dozens on the market so don't fancy installing every single launcher just to check whether it supports folders or not.
Any suggestions anyone?
The stock launcher support folder in app drawer but I think it's buggy (some apps get scattered on reboot for me). The paid version of nova support folders too, idk about apex.

Sorry, but Go Launcher takes up a LOT of space. I'm suffering from the same problem.

Yup, Nova Launcher Prime says that it has folder support, didn't test it yet.
Nova launched prime defo has folders in app drawer and they work well

As I said stock TW is good for me but doesn't support 180 dpi which I'm using at the moment.
Thank you for directing me to Nova. Had prime for long time but didn't realized it supports folders. It's going to be my main launcher for now, folders works really good and its blazing fast, just as TW on JB.
Liquid ICS is great and I love it, but any clock widget I install from Play store doesnt show up on the device. I scroll over from the app drawer to widgets and its not there. Can I not install widgets this way? Post a link to install widgets with this rom? Thanks.

Depends on your launcher. I use Apex. With Apex launcher Just long press and widget options will appear. Stock launcher you have to open apps and scroll to the right side of the screen to see widgets and then long press them.

Thanks a lot. I installed apex launcher and widgets are working now.

In the app drawer? There aren't many launchers that have that feature. Buzz Launcher is one I can think of off the top of my head, but is focused on themes / customizeableness. Most launchers can sort different ways in the app drawer via most used, time installed, alphabetical, etc but if you want like 7 apps on this page and 20 on the next and 5 on the 3rd in the app drawer etc, your options are limited.
