there are roms for lww in this site and http://get.cm/?device=coconut (daily updates) again in this site https://sites.google.com/site/projectfreexperia/download/cyanogen-mod-10 (updates releases after 10 days) what are the differences between those two sites kernels
It's almost same because FXP team also maintainer for Xperia series in Cyanogenmod... But for the note that every update that works and stable in official nightly rom will be included in FXP CM rom.
Posted yesterday and still on the same page as this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2089159
it's just that the rom from fxp team is tested actually on the phones...... whereas the cm builds are not tested

This is newer version, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1226715
On the homepage, are just some older versions, it is the FXP team that is creating the official CyanogenMod for Xperia devices, on forum these are unofficial releases, that are given for people to try out. Official releases are posted to the homepage.
Short - Same ROM, on the website just older version.
Hello, sorry for maybe a stupid question but I cannot find info anywhere on CM10 development for Xperia U. Since it seems unlikely Sony is going to release any official JB ROM for this phone I am eager to get it.... thanks, and big thanks to all the developers who make this site what it is :good:

Sony as of now is not providing details about Xperia U and Sola Jelly bean updates....
the rest of their 2012 Xperia Phone will get Jelly Bean by June 2013..

Yes. This is not good. Sony very bad about software update. Xperia J will get jb for sure but don't know about u and sola. It should get jb because Xperia U and Sola are far better than Xperia J.

Thank you! Where do you/I find this information?
Yes I know Sony has not yet decided about Xperia U JB upgrade but IF they do it it will be "mid-quarter 2013", probably later, which already is almost a year since the release of JB.... cannot understand why it would take a full year for Sony to custumize their firmware....
I just read that somewhere
But currently freexperia's official site says CM9 for the u/go/sola is in progress. Regarding the official JB for the U/SOLA, Sony has mentioned that they are still actively testing the JB on sola/u.

Its safe to assume that it will take atleast 6 months to get an official JB update from sony knowing their delays. By then we may have a stable CM10/AOKP JB or maybe even a CM11 LOL.

I personally prefer a clean or stock android rom to a rom thats loaded with bloat and other filth by OEMs
on the freexperia google project home you can monitor the progress of the different builds for cm9 and cm 10
can't use outside links in the post because of the 10 post requirement but just use Google and search for freexperia

Yes I saw this, but I was looking for specific development for Xperia U... thanks anyway
would switch to cm9.1 as soon as they release it. fed up of sony's official release.
What's the word on hardware support? Would we get a fully working camera, FM radio, power management, etc?
I've been reading up on some of the current builds, and it seems not everything is working fine (then again there is an awful lot to read, so I may have missed something).

Which one is the most stable ICS/JB based rom for LWW with everything including the accelerometer.... will appreciate the input....thanks
any rom based on stock ics should be fine.
imho source based rom like cm or aokp still had too many bugs.
i'm a miui fan so i'll recommend miui, i'm using lasan's miui 2.10.19 ics

never tried it. lasan's miui is the first miui i tried and love it since the beginning. moreover its pure miui.us rom for arc s ported to lww without any modification.
all other miui rom added sound libs like beats etc which i dont like and causing stuttering with my kernel.

You see, i have Mini Pro, and I also want just ported MIUI ROM without any modifications So maybe here is any developer who can just port latest MIUI ROM without any mods to our Mini Pro's?
u can port lasan's miui easily to other phone.

already answered, and to repeat, any rom based on stock ics should be fine with accelerometer in games and whatsnot.
even if its not as smooth as u expected, custom rom based on stock ics had far better accelerometer, camera, sound etc compared to source based rom.
for me, the stable rom for LWW is fxp130 cm7.2. it is GB. for ICS, i didn't found yet. i'm using cm7.2 right now. NO BUGS !
EDIT: here the link : http://get.cm/?device=coconut&type=stable / http://code.google.com/p/freexperia/wiki/CyanogenMod7

haha. sorie about that
i prefer: Hyperbeam Cream v4.0 + kernel panic 1.25
(drains 0.5% battery per hour during deep sleep while Playing 5 hours of music drains 20%
, therefore full charge = 25 hours Music)
CM9
CM 9.1 is better news for the LWW! Notification lights work great. There's also a mod around for enabling/disabling the music lights (which work both in CM7/CM9 btw). Stock kernel's battery life's not great though compared to CM 9.0. But it IS stable. Will have to look for a new kernel. Other than that, it's great! (MIUI has WIFI issues everytime with my LWW!)
CM 9.1 FXP144 with Geeky Engine is awesome. I don't like most off custom roms because all have bugs. CM 9.1 FXP144 for me is very good for my daily usage. The thing I miss most is xLoud

I use R6 in the past and it works fine but is a heavy Rom, now i'm using UNLIMITED Rom and is stable and smooth and so light.

Hi guys, sorry for the stupid question but I am new to this world and I have a doubt.
Are this freeXperia Project CM10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1780326 and this from the CM site http://www.cyanogenmod.org/devices/sony-ericsson-xperia-mini just the same or are they different projects?
Thanks in advance and sorry again.
As far as I know it is nearly the same and some FXP members are in cm team or some cm members are in FXP, don't know exactly
But FXP had more updates (I guess weekly) during the first few months building cm, don't know if cm updates more often now. Just check the building dates
But I'm still not sure, could be I'm wrong. Just wait for other members here, maybe they know more about that :good:

FXP is the official CM mainter for xperia devices. The sources used by CM are the FXP one's. the CM site releases nightly versions without some features like FM radio.
To answer your question, yes they are same as they use the same sources.

Thank you guys!!
Does anyone know where I can get the latest CM9.1 Kernel? I need it for CM9.1 which I got from get.cm (unless the cm9.1 zip file has the kernel inside)
Sent from my WT19i using xda premium
I guess you'll only get it from inside the zip or you use any other custom kernel for ICS (and cm9)
Sent from my Nexus 4 running Android 4.3
The Cm 9.1 has the kernel inside the zip ...But it is not latest....Come to think about it ,it's a year (and two days) old !!!
Get the FXP 229 which has the "latest" kernel ...
Also every FXP release has a different kernel and performance can vary like anything ...
