Antenna location in galaxy s2 - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know where the internal antenna for network signal is located in the galaxy s2? If possible what does it look like and any pics to help?

Took me seconds to find answer on google. Always "search" before creating topic. It saves on pointless clutter on forums.

If I'm not mistaken thats the port for an external antenna..what I need to find out is where the actual internal antenna board or receiver is located on the main board...thanks for the reply though!!

I thought its the thing behind the home button.....and also has the speaker on it.
See if you can find it in the service manual.

Excuse me if it's a dumb question, but what is this widget?

Noticed a green widget called TRAFFIC in my widget list that I swear wasn't downloaded by me...OR...Maybe it's a stock app that I just didn't notice before. Either way, it doesn't seem.to work. Could someone please enlighten me. Any one got any idea what this is?

Whilst I can confirm that it is a stock app, I can't say what it's for. I tried it and it just ran Google maps, showing my current location. I can only guess that it does exactly that, but with traffic density showing on the map (which is an option in Google maps).
Thanks for confirming...and reassuring that it's a stock app. By it's functionality, I'm guessing that maybe it's one of the less thought out apps on gs2.

What kind of answer are you hoping for? I couldn't find it either. Not sure how that will help you.

I think there is 100 different camera apps in play, I'm sure one of them can do it, did you look?

I would like to know if there is any what to activate or mod.. i don't know....
But with the burst mode you have to do the "work". In galaxy s1 or 2, you can take the picture and is automatic....
Do you know any app that do that, from the market?
Fast burst camera from play works OK

I use my I9300 with Straight Talk and get similar data speeds as I did with my Note. You set the APN I assume? Don't enter the proxy and try again. Remember the S3 has fast dormancy, which controls speed as needed, so there will be a sort of "turbo lag"..

Exactly as on the phone programming page, except no entry for proxy and port.

[Q] What (htc) phone is on this picture?

Hey,
On HTCs Facebook page, they posted an image of the HTC One X in dark and light versions... or at least so it seems at first sight.
But if you look more closely, the phone on the right (dark one) has more edges than the real One X on the left. Also the speaker looks differently than anything I have seen so far.

I love the looks of it and would really consider buying this phone... if it really exists. Anybody any information about this?
Or is it just some international version of the One X(L)?
Thanks in advance. :good:

Check the accespoint names in the 2nd screenshot. Maybe the entries have be deleted. If you need to get them back, you can check online if your carrier shows them somewhere.
