INSTRUCTIONS:
Download file and put it on the root of your memory
Boot into recovery (easiest method is using Quick Boot from Play Store)
Wipe Cache/Dalvik
Install ZIP
Wipe Cache/Dalvik and then Fix Permissions (for optimal results)
Reboot then you have the application!

Nothing against you, but as a side-note - why aren't more people aware that Beats "technology" is nothing more than glorified equalizer settings? This mod sooner or later becomes available for almost every smartphone I've looked at and it's infecting computers now; this is in addition to those godawful headphones that apparently took 40% of the industry share this year. And people seem have no idea that you can accomplish the same or maybe achieve better results with a little bit of EQ and some knowledge? And worst of all, now this company (which is basically a big joke) has a reputation for solid, reliable audio quality, a reputation which should be reserved for high-end, established audio manufacturers like Sennheiser/Grado/manymanyotherswhoarenotendorsedbydrdreordavidguetta.
Seriously though, I mean no offense... and I appreciate the time and contribution, I just have a "thing" with that company.

If you have nothing good to say don't say anything at all... Regardless, people choose what they like, even if it's not the best its simple, no one really wants to mess with equalizer settings ok... They want it to just work... Besides you don't have to use this, anyways.... Great mod... Worked like a charm, don't even need to back up if you follow instructions right, might want to add that fixing permissions might take a while, some people might get impatient and decided to early reboot

The iPhone is nothing more than a glorified app launcher. People seem to buy plenty of them. It's simplicity to use is the same reason people enjoy Beats. I for one enjoy Beats because it makes better quality sound with a click of a button rather than having to **** with EQ settings that I have no knowledge of(nor do I care to learn about it.) To each his own right?

Yep yep I agree and certainly didn't want to start anything...mmm...maybe I could've picked a better time to add my two cents, and maybe I'm a little biased because my major passion in life is music and audio mixing...But yeah, if you like it, by all means.

To fix on power amp you have to disable direct volume control in advanced settings, unfortunately power amp sounds better stock... =( my loudest best sounding phone was one X+ I can't get that again?

So this does nothing if you're running Nocturnal ROM. I have the sound enhancements ended for the "walkman" app and I see when I mess with the equalizer, it does stuff. But when I go into Beats, the equalizer doesn't do anything.
So either you can't have them both, or I'm doing something wrong. Even when I disabled Sony Walkman, it still didn't do anything.

There appears to be an issue while recording video. When I record video, auto focus seems to be struggling to keep the image in focus. Most if the video is blurry and out of focus. Not sure what is causing this, but it's annoying to say the least. My video settings are stock and I'm running Criskelo v30 with ZedoMax kernel. I'd like to hear from others who are rxperiencing the same issue. If anybody knows of a fix, please share.

I flashed Turkbey ROM and there was no auto focus issues while recording video. The auto focus issue appears to be related the Criskelo ROM. Looks like I'll be using the Turkbey ROM until this issue is resolved on Criskelo. Bummer, because I really like the Criskelo ROM. Hopefully the issue gets addressed soon.

Yes this issue is bugging the heck out of me.
If companies want to compete with the iPhone, then they need to work this crap out. You won't find an iPhone with this issue.
I like to record videos of my toddler and of course kids move around constantly. The video recorder on here is always refocusing itself.
I have to resort to recording videos now with my wife's iPhone 4.
I don't root or do custom ROMs on android. Just not my cup of tea. Maybe it might get fixed with ICS.
I guess Korea's phones are about as good as their cars. But they do have incredibly beautiful women.

Forums of all types mainly consist of people either having problems or complaining about their problem. Most people don't come on forums to say how wonderful life is.
If you must know, I very much like my GS2, it's probably the best phone I've owned. I like it better than the iPhones I used to use, and I like it a bit better than my Atrix. So I hope that gave you the warm fuzzies.

I replaced the camera apk with the one from Turkbey and it fixed the auto focus issue. I'm glad because I really like Criskelo ROM.

Every platform has it's issues. When the iPhone 4 came out, it had reception issues which required people to purchase a bumper case. It also had a yellowish tint on the sceen. The reason why there are bugs is because the cell market is highly competitive, so there is a rush to get the latest and greatest to production. As a result, there will be bugs from time to time. I've had every iPhone with the exception of the iPhone 4, but I prefer the Android platform over iOS; It's a preference, not a pissing contest. I remember a time when cell phones did nothing more than send and receive calls.

Hey guys! I am a producer / musician and was looking for a way to include my work into this awesome phone. Gratefully, Xboarder56 is allowing my to make some customized and purely original notification sounds for his ROM; BulletProof.
I will take request, but understand that I don't want to bloat the ROM with audio files, so with every release of his ROM, I'm only going to allow for 10 of these at a time.
So far I've made 5 sounds in F Major, just a starting pack!

If its something you cannot find via Google I'll be happy to make a recording and post it up so you can get a sense of it. Maybe tweak it to your own interpretation would be awesome. If it can't make it into the ROM maybe make it available separately in this thread? I figure it's worth asking. Thanks!

I hadnt seen this posted anywhere here. I found several threads where the OP had pulled this or links just went bad in other forums. From what i can tell, the first guy to make this happen was RockoDev. I dont know if he made this or if someone else did based off his work..just trying to give credit where credit is due.
That said , I have A/Bd this with the stock music app that uses Beats Audio officially...i then had the same song queued up in Play Music where i could multitask and hit play on both players that way i didnt have any pause in audio for my ears to readjust. And in my honest opinion this is the real deal.
I tested on a pair of Beats Studios , Yamaha NS10 monitors, as well as M-Audio BX8A reference monitors. Also tested in my car audio setup which isnt too shabby.
That said .. yeah guys this pretty much is just EQ . BUT , having a rather extensive background in audio engineering , i think there is an added component that doesnt get enough credit.. I believe they use some sort of software compressor that rolls off the highs as the source becomes louder , which helps reduce distortion at louder volumes and keeps that "full" sound even at capacity.

Not really... It flashes it to the file system, open the zip and check it out.
Then compare audio with your stock music player that you know uses it.
It doesn't just flash a bunch of useless files I promise .... Unless you find the beats effect useless... Then I guess it is

Man, first off I'm not being a douche. My favorite 2 developers are Virus and the Kernel God Chad but neither of them have switched over. The Rom choices just seek weak to me and I blame stupid ass apple for this! No disrespect to devs but being stock is so killing me. I've been holding out for virus and chad but idk how much longer I will last... Stock is ok, but Damn I want a custom Rom. From the looks of it, no roms are even themed yet!

Uh, the development has been superb considering the lifespan of this phone. They've already:
1) Made tweaks to control the cores to optimize speed and reduce lag.
2) Adjusted memory to fix multi-tasking thar HTC killed.
3) Added in QuickSettings and lots of other little tweaks with visuals (removed location icon, changed battery icon, etc).
4) Made two custom recoveries, a one-click root method, and allowed for USB Mounting in recovery.
5) Reversed the Apple BS thing.
6) Lots more that I can't think of right now.
You DEFINITELY sound like a douche man, but I think you just have too high of expectations. My expectations have been far exceeded so far by this stellar group of devs. Have you ever owned a phone on release day before?

I recently flashed CM 10.2 on my One and really would like to be able to restore the original sense camera that came with the phone stock.. I downloaded the apk for the Google edition, but it force closes.. Any one have any luck?

Hopefully they improve the wakelocks, it constantly drains my battery until I force close it.

I obviously understand it's not working, but I would like to be enlightened as to why it wouldn't.
Because the sense camera relies on the sense framework.

Yea, sorry man it's tied to the sense framework. I did a ton of looking around on how to make it work and it keeps ultimately coming back to this same issue. It can't be done. I flashed over to ARHD just for this reason. I use my camera too often to "settle" for the google version. Catching my toddler with a smile is an act of God so the burst mode shooting just by holding the button is a HUGE help there plus I liked the zoe pics playing in the gallery. Also not to mention the sense cam (in ARHD 31.0 at least) lets you record downscaled for MMS, the latest google cam apk doesn't allow recording in less than 480. So 1-2 sec vids max when you want to share via mms. I recommend looking into ARHD if you liked sense but didn't like all the bloatware.
These guys pretty much nailed it, for an explanation, it would be like taking a double carb high rise intake manifold from a 60s muscle car, and just snapping it down in place and bolting it up, then closing the stock hood while it's installed.
I know that isn't a good analogy because the intake would be easier to pull off, but it's late and I gotta go to be.

With that said, you can try out all the other different cameras available and get much of the same functionality. I use Sony MotionShot for the motion combining shots and Camera Zoom FX for Burst Mode and other effects.
I haven't missed the Sense camera since changing.

Just stumbled across this! That is exactly what I needed on my GPE ROMs. The camera was so blurry and terrible I couldn't take it anymore and went back to a sense ROM. Now I just need a working sense TV on a non sense ROM. Left CM and all the CM based mods because I couldn't take the audio quality or the camera.
