How did you backed it up? What application did you used?
i use xrecovery~
I'm not sure there’s a way to get them back now unless you restored your nandroid backup and then back up your messages.
I’m using MyPhoneExplorer to do this.
hi
i have a samsung galaxy s i9000
i backed up my memos and messages using titanium backup when i had the 2.2 stock firmware.
i flashed it to 2.3.4 and tryed to restore those two backed ups.
my memos restored fine but i cant restore my messages which i had.
it says that my message is know 2.3.4 and the restored file is 2.2 version
i click on restore and it says it restored it but i cant see anything in my messages.
i dont know if it is a compatibility issue or something else anyone know how i can restore my backed up messages without going back to the 2.2 firmware
thank you all in advance
I have seemed to messed up my sms database by restoring over 25000 texts via sms backup and restore. Could someone with an empty sms inbox upload their mmssms.db which is located at /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db
Thank you in advance.
my phone is running 2.3.4 if that helps.
Nevermind, I just did a factory reset.
hi..
I did a backup of my SMS record and it made a txt file. Now, after rooting and installing a ROM, when am trying to restore it, it says "There is no SMS DB files in SD Card". Any idea how to sort it out?
PS. I've restored my contact list successfully.
Thanks for your help.
