No need for porting anything. Just open the zip file of the ROM on your pc, then go to system/app and check for textinput-tng.apk and place it in your sd card. Then get a file explorer and copy the apk from sd card to system/app and set permissions as rw-r--r-- or chmod 0644. The permissions will look some-what like this :-
xx-
x--
x--
Press Thanks if I helped.
Move app to system with 644 permission. If not work then resize some img to mdpi size

Without reading png names?
Rememba beside png drawable folders there are many xml files so you should be careful and remod ur keyboard carefully by replacing each file in the folder..
Sent from my Amfir Mimi BEK' Xperia™ S "LT26i" using xda premium
all the files names are the same as before the sock drawable-hdpi folder has 129 files and and my modded files are 129 and when i add my modded files to stock drawable-hdpi folder they replace all stock files no extras no less :/
I think it's a resolution issue
My keyboards are Xhdpi
Think you need to resize them.
Install notes, make sure you use a delete command in the cwm updater script. Or delete the old keyboard
I found out it causes issues if you overwrite.
Hope I've helped
Glad you like the keys

Its the permissions, when about to upload the system app you must set the permissions to the correct one that the package installer supports but the permissions that the application you have got has the system permissions set which means the permissions set on the application only works for system apps.
How to fix:
Install Root Explorer
Open Root Explorer
Move the file to /system/app/
Change=
User: R/W
Group: R/O
Others: R/O
To=
User: Read, Write, Execute
Group: Read, Execute
Others: Read, Execute
So basically a shape of a bridge.

That is just how to make it a system application, just do the reversed way to make it installable for package manager but their is a chance that the application must be a system application for some reason (launcher etc.)
Remember that if it fails then it is just not compatible.

Default themes for Stock ICS of Neo L
Now two different set of themes you can choose
Hello everyone. I have modded the boring default xperia themes and made it colourful... Download it if you like. .
Tested on rooted .431 and .587 stock firmwares
Downloads:
1. Download Colourful.rar for themes of different colour patterns.
Link for Colourful.rar: http://db.tt/YAoElQdW
2. Download Cars.rar for themes of different cars with their corresponding logos. Check screenshots..
Link for Cars.rar: http://db.tt/O7exYQvJ
Instructions:
1. Download which ever .rar file you want and extract.
2. Using Root Explorer, move the extracted DefaultThemes.apk to the system/app folder. Backup your original DefaultThemes.apk before doing this. Do not blame me if you end up in bootloop or anything else.
3. Restart your phone.
4. Go to Settings->Display->Themes. Select your favourite one.
5. Enjoy.
Any theme suggestions and requests are welcome..... If it is cool, I will theme it and upload here.

1. Flash via CWM... OR
2. Move to /system/app with -rw-r--r-- permissions using a root browser.
Guys please share any other mods/themes for GB...we are still on GB as ICS is slow and sucks, Camera on ICS is a dreadful pain...so GB is definitely better
This isn't my work...Thanks and credit to @Erhany as I got it from his thread...He is a superb themer for Gingerbread.

Yo man is working great on my Neo V. The only problem is on the home preferences. Even i change them i can't see any difference. But i love the 5x4 app drawer. Thanks!!!
It's cool...
Good work and thank you....
Just go to manage application from preference setting nd foreclose the launcher.....

Nope it's not working again. Nevermind man it's ok with me.I just wanted because of the 4x5 drawer.
Try this...
Openroot browser. Delete home
Apk. Turn usb debug on. Reboot. You will get blank screen as there is no launcher app
Connect phone to pc. Then use adb to push the home apk to /system/app with 644 permission. Reboot. This has to work

Gives an error when loading the CWM. I wanted to make a manual, but the House has stopped working, he said. all of the contents of the file you need to move the system file? I only took home author system folder. that's why I got the error I guess.
You need to move both files to system folder. Then change permission to 644.then move to system/app. It has to work....
Pl note do not flash in cwm
