Hi All,
I have a Zopo ZP900. Unfortunately, My kid tried too many pattern attempts, WITH OUT a data connection.
I tried lot of ways to get the phone unlocked but Could not do it.
Can any one help me out to get rid of this? My phone debug mode itself is not turned on...
Thanks a lot...
With regards
Saravanakumar S A
If u dont have umportant data on it u can do a full wipe using the stock recovery
1 close the phone
2 press vol up + power or home + power or vol up +home + power to enter the recovery
3 using the vol buttons to choose and home key to select , select wipe data/system format and choose yes
4 reboot and you will found that the lock vanished but every thing is wiped (this won't affect the sd card only the system memory

Pattern locked with out Data connection
When I try, I am getting only the following screen.

Test report
Clear eMMC
Version

I could able to move the cursor up or down. But not ablke to choose anything else. Only option to get out of this to remove the battery.

Dear Sammyroid,
But even in that I have a problem. I could not get into that Factory mode. This ZP900 had only 3 physical buttons. Nothing works so that I can choose the option. I am able to only move up and down using volume control. The home and power button are not working.

I also have Exactly the same problem....(i dont even know what this tablet's model is...it just shows up in the Android Market as J-Q8B)
1) It only has two physical buttons (Power on/off button and Volume key up/down) so there is NO "home" button I can press
2) It also doesn't have any "reset" hole I can poke into and get it to reset or something
3) Cant remove the battery also coz it doesnt have any screws I can open up to take out the battery
:,-( I am screwed....I think I just found myself a "new door-stopper" and/or paper weight.
Is there some other way around this?
I too faced this problem on my karbonn a9+ .... I gave to service centre and they repaired and gave back in 5 days :-/

ok...
just to be sure (no big chance to get it working but maybe...?):
Press POWER and VOL- for a few seconds, till screens goes black and then POWER, VOL- and VOL+
Navigate with VOL- to Recovery and than press VOL+
In recovery, if there's no to press VOL- and VOL+ to display, if it's already there do a cache wipe and a data wipe / factory reset.
if it's still not working, you should go and send it for a repair
PS: After data wipe you will lose every changed phone setting and downloaded app! Be sure you saved every important thing!

but think about it. if it's not working and you'll send your phone to be repaired... You'll get a new one with nothing on it but the stock ROM... I don't think they will repair these touch buttons, but they will replace your phone with a new one.

Since you have forgotten both pattern and your Google account details then only way is you have restore your phone to factory settings that means all your apps, contacts and setting will go only SD Card will be safe.
1.Switch off your phone.
2.Keep holding the power button and home button together.
3.It will go to recovery mode.
4.Then search for factory reset or something like that.
5.Use Volume Keys to navigate and Home button to select.
5.Select that factory reset thing and then wait for some time it will format.
6.Restart your phone.
7.Your phone is back
I Hope this was useful for you

You'll lose all your data when you reset, so you should back up first.
Obviously you can't back everything up since you're locked out of your phone, but if you connect it to your PC via Samsung Kies you can at least back up your contacts without unlocking the phone.

while the phone is booting up
Remove the sdcard
Go to adb and type
Code:
adb pull /
It will backup all the things on your phone
Not sure, but what these guys said that factory reset is the only way isn't completely true I think... There's a way of bypassing the security lock and removing it completely, as long as you have root:

First of all sorry about my English. I wish I can do better.
I got the phone with the rebooting and base on the owner of the phone he said it started rebooting after an update.
Not sure what was of update to but the phone I got always rebooting during Android app optimization stage ( when it updating about 90 files or so) but it got reboot when updating to the file of 57th (So it was not actually working)
I watched and followed the youtube (how to unblock/unbrick galaxy i717) which it used the pda-odin-att-stock.tar file with the ODIN3 V1.85 (I guess that original ROM of AT&T (android version 2.3)
After successful unblock/unbrick the phone the phone actual worked but the problem still. It works but only 2 minutes and the phone reboots.
2/ test redbend fota is one the options you can choose after hard booting the phone using both up - down keys and power key (other options are to clear the cache, or wipe the data..)
That actually happened to me while testing out Bean Stalk(which btw AWESOME ROM). It would do a Random Reboot and continuously do that every 2 minutes or so. The way I fixed it was by doing the following steps:
1) Power off your phone. If unable to power off, remove and reinsert the battery.
2 )Press and hold between both Volume keys and the Power key at the same time until the phone vibrates, then release ONLY the Power key.
3)Continue holding the Volume keys until Samsung appears on the screen. Then release both volume keys.
The recovery menu will display.
4) Press Volume down to move to option 3, Wipe data/factory reset, and then press the Home key to accept.
5) Use Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to navigate in the menu and select Yes- Delete all user data.
6)Navigate to highlight OK and press the Home key to select.
7) Select Reboot system now.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS WILL DELETE EVERYTHING INSIDE YOUR SD CARD AS WELL! SO DO A BACKUP BEFORE ERASING EVERYTHING!

Could it be a battery issue? I mean if its not software, it might be hardware. Please check if the battery is fine? If you could elaborate the steps you took or the update process you followed, that would be great.
Don't worry we will definitely figure this out, i know how sad it can be when you are without your phone.

No. Surely it is not about the battery. Battery is full and hold the charge pretty well. As I mentioned I was re-installed the original ROM of the phone and there was nothing much to say about this procedure. After reinstalled the original rom the phone works but the problems is still same (rebooting after 2 minutes), before the the phone didn't work and just was in the updating stage but I guess the time of the updating file was also about 2 minutes.
I believe this is about the software than the hardware issue. I am thinking that I may want to install the newest ROM to see it will work or not but I am in the middle of some works right now and have no time for it. So I am just wait to see if there is anyone had similar issue and follow their instruction. Thank you you all.
I am sure you either have hardware issue or in most circumstances it is a user issue.
Is there any possibility you have not read everything or something you are not understanding?
Those of us responding do so because our methods are tried and true. Nobody else is having this issue.
I just ask is it possible?
Have you confidently tried all suggestions with no shortcuts? Even the smallest deviation can lead to the biggest problems

Here is a suggestion:
Please go to stock rom. After Odin restarts the phone...do not touch. Let the phone sit there for a little bit. Then if it restarts u might need to format your internal sd card after formatting system, data, cache and then install rom.
I had to flash it

factory reset did not help me with this...I ended up having to flash CM 10.1. Its the most stable custom I have used on this phone yet....
My phone was perfectly fine this morning had no problems until I got out of class and was listening to music while it was plugged up to the car where it rebooted which happens but now I can't get it to stay on 5 seconds without doing a reboot. It also Can not find service and the NFC is freaking out what do I do? I also get system is not responding. I am on the latest version and it has not been rooted.

Then hold power for 3 seconds to boot up.
success?

Yes. Both options 2 and 3 will delete all user data. You can make a backup of user data using PC companion. And then restore this at a later date.
But it sounds like the reason for your reboots is a conflict. restoring user data will probably give you the same error.

So you have plugged it into PC Companion and done a restore?
Then on your device, (Ultra)
go into settings,
then find backup and restore, and then do a factory reset.
That will delete all user data off.
If it still does it then there must be a hardware issue with the Ultra.
You could try flashing an FTF file, but that will only reinstall the OS like you did with the PC companion.
Take it back to the shop and tell them.

I am on complete stock, no root. I tried the safe mode boot suggestion and it worked for me. Press the power on/off button on the side of the phone, until the Power off/Airplane mode options appear in the centre of the screen. Press and hold the first on-screen option (Power off), then the safe mode menu appears. I had no idea the menu was there until I tested it. I didn't boot to safe mode, as my phone is working fine, so it was unnecessary for me to do that. The option is definitely there though.

@cratosgow Yes there is a way to hard reset your device.
1. Pull battery out from the phone. Wait 10 seconds. Pull it back.
2. While holding POWER UP + HOME SCREEN BUTTON press POWER BUTTON (so all 3 together). Wait until it turns on with the NOTE 3 screen. Stop pressing all buttons.
3. You are now in recovery mode.
4. Navigating with VOLUME DOWN BUTTON go to wipe data/factory reset and press OK (POWER BUTTON). Do the same and press YES. Wait until done.
5. Do the same but with clear cache partition.
5. Press ok for reboot system now.
6. You are done with HARD RESET.

You are welcome mate I am glad you are fixed. Volume Down + Power + Home is for Download mode. Usually volume down combos get you in download mode/ emergency etc in all devices. Don't mess there if you don't know what you are doing ^.^. Have a great day.
