After switching my Razr to JB (leaked OTA version) I noticed that after you place a call and then hang-up from that call, the phone displays the call log. Is there any way to turn that off?
Thank you.
SOLUTION:
I installed the "Automate It" app and created a rule that returns to the home screen after the call ends.

I used to have the motorola droid pro, and what bugged me about it is that the outgoing call list on the native dialer would display the google voice routing number instead of the number I was actually calling.
On the incredible 2's sense ROM (and possibly on unmodified Android), the outgoing call list would reflect the number I was calling and not GV's routing number.
I've got a razr maxx on the way now, and I just remembered what my problem was with the droid pro, so I am curious to see if you GV users out there have noticed the same issue with Blur on the razr.
Works fine on my Razr.
Works fine on mine as well.

Just got the Razr. It is a great phone! Unfortunately, the problem is there.
All you have to do to confirm is go to the "Recent" tab in the dialer, and check your outgoing numbers.
If you call through Google Voice, then your routing numbers will be displayed instead of the numbers you actually dialed. However, holding down on that number will bring up the pop-up menu where you can record the original number dialed, so I guess it isn't that great a problem
It's funny. Under recent it does. But under the most recent call in the dialer it shows the correct #...at least on mine. And to your point...not that big of a deal because if you press and hold on recent it shows the correct #.

There's an app in the Play store that fixes this problem. Just search for "GV Outbound Call Log Repair"

Why so furtive? Give yourself the credit you deserve and thank you for making this app! I will definitely try this out after loading up the jellybean leak on my RAZR.
I have the XT910 and recently when trying to call, it is taking a delay of around 20 seconds between the pressing the green call key to actual dialing of the number.
After the call is setup, there is no problems. The Voip calls and Skype has no issues at all.
Do you guys tell me whether you have the same issue here or not..

Hi....I'm new to this forum and the world of Android....hoping someone can help me!
I picked up a Samsung Galaxy S3 the other day and noticed something unusual with the call function. If I make and receive a call (i.e. the call has actually connected) everything works as expected...proximity sensor engages, and when the call is finished it returns to the call screen. However, if I dial a number and the line at the other end is busy/engaged, I remove the phone from my ear and it returns to the phone lock screen (where I need to enter my password due to my hookup with Microsoft exchange at work). If I don't place the phone to my ear it returns to the normal call screen. Its a pain having to enter the password after attempting to make a call to a busy line, as the first thing I want to do is redial the number.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm running ICS 4.04.
Try enable auto redial under call setting - additional setting.

Thanks....I'll give it a try. Just need to find a phone line that is busy again!
Ok....here's another weird one associated with the call function on the SGS3 running ICS 4.0.4. When I use a bluetooth headset and make a call, the phone will automatically lock when I hang up regardless of whether the "time to lock" has been met. As mentioned before, I'm connected to an exchange account so security has been assigned such that I need to enter a password to access my phone after a certain time period (max 15 minutes). I'm beginning to wonder if these automatic locks with the call function are pre-determined by the exchange security?? Or perhaps a bug in ICS?

lmyers, did this work for you? I have the same problem, have changed the auto-redial to On, but no busy signal to test it on yet...
I have a strange problem with my S3 since the JB update.
I have unbranded UK BTU stock, never rooted.
Whenever I am talking on the phone and receive a message the phone vibrates in my ear. This didn't happened on JB. I tried turning off the Messaging vibrate setting, that solved the problem partially because the phone would never vibrate when receiving a message.
Bellow are my settings:
Call settings->Call alert->Call Vibrations all unchecked; Alerts on call unchecked
Message settings->Vibrate checked
Settings->Sound->Sound and vibration unchecked
I would like my phone to act as it did on JB, notify me during a call when receiving a message through a sound and to vibrate+ when receiving a message when not talking on the phone.
Are there any other setting that I am missing?
Thanks.
Are you using a 3rd party app??
Go sms or similar??

I am using the native messaging app/
Had this ongoing problem for about 3 weeks. Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar. People call me and after 4 rings get my voicemail. My phone never rings, never vibrates, shows no indication of an incoming phone call, even though if I look it at it I see 5 towers and 4G/LTE. Sometimes if I make an outbound call after that I can receive a call or two but eventually it'll again go into this strange "you don't need to talk to anyone mode". If people leave a voicemail I get immediate notification and TXTs and emails continue to come in. I have to restart the entire phone and this only fixes the issue temporarily. I never installed any alternative dialers or anything that might cause this.
Device: Motorola Droid Razr XT912
Firmware: 4.1.2. Please help me to fix this problem.
