stweaks and extweaks

I was having 3.2 siyah kernel with extweaks...now i uograded to siyah 5.1..which has stweaks app..so wouldnt the settings of both apps interfere? And there is no way to delete extweaks too..
thanks
P.S. Also, did anyone find any performance difference with siyah 5.1? in hd videos/gaming?

just go to system/apps and there delete extweaks app
u have to play around with the I/O scheduler and see for the same in 'stweaks' app also try enabling 'vpll' mode and then see

[Q][SOLVED] games running slow on my LwW

Hello
I have a WT19i Live with Walkman which is rooted and supercharged. Its running Real ICS 6 and KRSH kernel.
The ROM is wonderful...but the only drawback is that the games run too slow and stutter a lot.
Games like Subway Surfer and Temple run
earlier i thought it was maybe the games are on my SD card...but moving them to the phones internal memory didn't make a difference.
Is it because the phone is not capable enough( which i Really doubt)...or there is some problem with it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS tried searching for similar threads...couldn't find one
May be the supercharger script is not working properly thus causing problem..try to re add it again from the begining.you can also try to update your GPU driver from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32867696#post32867696 make a backup before doing anything

thanks for the reply!
the supercharger script runs fine...it says 100% supercharged whenever i run the script...
about the GPU drivers...i'm trying them out
Thanks!!
EDIT: WOW!! thanks....that seemed to work pretty well...now would try more games and would tell you the results...THANKS A TON!
please please please just let me know if these gpu files work independent of the rom
THANKS AGAIN!
Bro, krsh kernel is nt gud with RealICS so try different kernel, use kernel panic its best for gaming!

If nt recommended, its not a prob at all, u can use any ICS kernel with any ICS ROM, using other kernel is never a problem at all.

If you want to play, use Gingerbread and not ICS. ICS is not good for gaming, GB has a lot better performance.

LOl, as an SM(Senior Member) u should have known this
No, with stock CM10 kernel u cant use 'Extweaks' or 'Stweaks' ma8.
install Siyah v5.0.1 or Dori v7.33 and u will have 'Stweaks' app installed automatically, there under 'GPU' tab u can tweak the settings
PS- Also see to it that u wont create multiple threads for each of ur issue's, since its against XDA rule and as a senior member u should be aware of it do please edit the same thread and add the issue/info there itself

[Q] Will a custom rom boost my s5839i performance?

That pretty much this. Will a custom rom make my phone faster/smoothe.
I've always loved performance but I'm not sure if i should take the risk .
What do you guys think? Tell me your experiences.
some tricks can make your phone speeder. For example cpu governor, that can be used when you rooted your phone. Other things like init.d scripts that are enabled with kernels also speed up some performances (internet, smoothness).
You also have chainfire 3d that allows you to run games you cam't run before.
So in my opinion, as we don't have cyanogenmod actually, a custom rom will not boost you're performance a lot. But rooting, changing kernel and other stuff like that can help to have a speeder phone (but the more interesting thing of a custom rom is the theme)
That's all for me
Hit thanks !

But i need init.d suport right? Cause i installed it but it didnt take effect. Just fill memory space lol.

Yes, all scripts are based in a file called init.d launched at each start of your phone, but this file is not activated basically so you need to get a new kernel. but you also have some apk (search on xda) that enable init.d with stock kernel if you don't want to change kernel

Hum you should check compatibility, i never used those apk because i directly flashed a custom rom with integrated rafael kernel, so i can't give you support.
Look on the thread if somebody had the same issue.

So you prefer rafael's
I already have some scripts in init.d folder. Should i delete them, install rafael and try adrenaline again?
Sent from my GT-S5839i using xda app-developers app
I don't think removing scripts is needed
(and i've always used rafael's one because when i started on xda, it was the only available kernel for ace i )
Ps : use e3 recovery version, cwm is for ext4 system partitioning

I'm not an expert to say you if this script is efficient or not, but you also have supercharger v6 that seems more complete and customisable to me, and the one i'm using actually is a compilation made by iamareebjamal, that you can find here

Yes changement or not like having a s3, but these tweaks boost a little bit your phone, you should have try to use antutu benchmark before and after to have an idea of the impact, i didn't tell you...
But now you can search for other way to speed up your phone yourself also or check other scripts, trying is the best way to get what you want

[Request]: Trickster

Hello everybody, I would like to request and even ask something: I am proud owner of S Advance I9070 and currently i am using LightJB_v1.2 ROM with Co-Core v9.8 kernel. But I would like to tune my kernel by using TricksterMOD application. Unfortunately when I open trickster and grand it superuser permission the app itself is crashing. What should I do? Is there any "fix" or alternative method to use trickster. Actually trickster is the best app to tune any kernel. I tried with KUI app but it's full of bugs imho. So don't tell me to use KUI app but if you know something about trickster i would like to know it. Thank you in advance.

Running fine on me, KK rom.
Why don't you try other app?
Performance Control, for example?
And there's Android Tuner, Rom Toolbox, etc
... wew that's an old rom.
Flash a new one, bro.

It is fully debloated and deodexed and it is for sure really light ROM. Actually I have paid to use trickster's mod full features so that's why i would like to use it on my S Advance. I will flash HarshJelly once it gets new update. Tried current HJ v5.1 and i don't like it too much, still prefer LightJB 1.2. Maybe on next release i will stay with it. I don't know if trickster is running on KK rom but i want to use 4.1.2 TW Rom

I think that you should ask developer of that app about that problem, and to provide him a logcat.
Btw, it is working on CM11. Try to wipe cache and dalvik cache.
