I'm currently running a CM10.1-build of some sort, and I have to say, it's not the most lag-free, battery-friendly ROM I've ran.
Long story short: what's the most stable ROM out there for this device?
Thanks!
CM10. Android 4.1.2
+1. The CM10 for this tablet is very nice. Clock up the CPU and you're golden.
There are good solid options all over the Dev forums for both JB and ICS. Take your pick and find what fits you best!

Well as forum surfing, found this. Yes, there is a difference. Cm9 is faster, has more features such as FFC unlock, a better overhauled ui, its faster, more user friendly in my opinion, and it has more customizable options in custom rom. If you want a good ROM, cm9 is good.

+1 for CM9, but it really depends what you're looking for. Granted, I've only tried AOKP ICS M6 so far, but I was on GB for a long time so I can feel the difference pretty well. If you're looking for bleeding edge and you don't mind a few hiccups and glitches every once in a while then go with CM9 based roms, but if you need rock solid stability then I'd say the CM7 roms are better suited. Don't forget that Jelly Bean (CM10) roms are already out and coming along quite nicely... I just can't upgrade myself until I get a new sd card.
Hello Guys,
What, in your opinion, is the best, most stable ICS or JB rom. I am currently running CM10 stable and although it is really nice, it has some lag and it drains my battery. I am looking for another good rom. Good kernels are also welcome. Thanks!
The Best
The best ROm out there is RemICS-JB v1.0(Team Remics). Has not let me down.
Hey all looking to switch to a new ROM today.
I'd like to try a stable 4.3 ROM with Privacy Guard-Some Custimzation yet smooth.
If not a 4.3. i'll settle for 4.2 ROM's
Thanks All!

I have tried so many roms and mostly avatar has been the one that worked best. if you don't care about Bluetooth in the car crashing you can overclock using jbx kernel..... I have not found the sweet spot yet with overclock. But avatar so far has been the best for a daily driver. JBX kernel has it fly with over 12000 scores on Antutu Benchmarks but I had glitch Bluetooth with JBX
Thanks for the quick response, Bluetooth is a MUST in my everyday routine.
Does bluetooth not work only when overclocking, or not at ALL?
LiquidSmooth 2.9 has been the best-running 4.2 rom I've used. I like the AOKP Milestone 2 as well, and then there is the trusty CM10.1.3. All of these are, of course, 4.2. I find LS to be, as the name implies, exceptionally smooth. AOKP and CM run better on my S3 than the RAZR.
Try paranoid 3.99

Please, no more threads asking "Which ROM is best/most stable?". Try one and see if you like it. If not, try another one.
Thank you, and thread closed
whats the best stable, lag free, and fast rom for the fascinate? is their any ROM that has JB/Kk? also, i need a rom with lots of internal space.
honestly i've been most satisfied with EH03, the verizon stock ROM. i've tried every version of CyanogenMod and nothing has come close to the fluidity and speed of good ol gingybread.
although if you absolutely can not stand touchwiz for some reason, CM9 is ok but it has a couple of issues (no native wifi tethering, weird texts from blank numbers, sometimes it just freezes and reboots itself).
also i use imoseyon's lean kernel along with a couple of other mods.. if you want them let me know. it kinda looks like touchwiz 4 for me.
using the stock verizon build too, debloated, debinged, rooted. all the links to EH03-based ROMs are dead unfortunately.

And it's so subjective,,, what works for one another despises...
I loved 'baked blackbean 6' it was 4.1.x jellybean (course i heavily tweaked it to my personal liking),,, and then came Slim ROM 4.2.2 ,,,
hellybean was good too,,,
Of course running the devil kennel from hellybean on these was the ticket too.
you just gotta be willing to take the plunge and try some different ones out till you find the one that trips your trigger the best
actually, based on prior experience, CM7 is the best non-TW GB ROM (although i'm content with my gutted out modded to hell EH03), ICS i just don't recommend because it gives excellent performance and is solid but the devs never fixed a few issues that are kinda big. JB just always lagged and stuttered too much but i remember Helly being a halfway decent rom

How much internal space does it have?
Hej guys,
at the moment I'm running my Xperia Pro with:
CyanogenMod version: 10-20130103-UNOFFICIAL-iyokan
Android version: 4.1.2
Kernel: 2.6.32.9-FXP
Build number: cm_iyokan-userdebug 4.1.2
I'm running it for around a year now and I'm really not satisfied with the performance and stability. Everything is really not snappy, apps take really long to load and I've to wait to use it! Using Maps or Chrome is a hell and not reliable when I need them. (Most of my apps are on SD and I don't think I'm experiencing memory problems.)
When I set up the phone last year I tried in the beginning the "newest" available Android version at that time and sticked to it. I guess this was my fault. Now I want to fix this and get finally the best performance and reliability and wanted to ask you for help. I think a downgrade is the best solution. Perhaps also to a custom and minimal rom. Do you have any suggestions what I should use? I would like to go for cyanogen again but I'm open for input. What are you using?
Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to your suggestions.
I use the newest ultimate hd (ics) and it runs fast enough with phone overclocked to 1,4ghz. I'd suggest u try it if you haven't already.

CarbonRom
I've been looking into KitKat roms, and I just flashed the CarbonRom.
So far, I'm really happy with the stability and the performance.
Though keep in mind I've OCed to 1.4gHz.
Along with all the features involved, I think it's one of the best roms I've tired in the past few years!
From my experience, these ROMs are the fastest, great performance and with great battery life out of all I've tested so far:
ICS: Xperia Ultimate HD (awesome battery life)
JB: (4.1.2) Super JellyBean and (4.3.1) LegacyXperia 10.2
KK: CarbonROM
You should, of course, flash many and see for yourself which one matches your expectations. And I haven't tested all (yet, haha. ), but from the ones I have, those are the best for <me>. And maybe don't expect too much, there's only a number of things software can do (or improve) when the hardware is very limited.
Currently I'm between CarbonROM and LX 10.2 and I think they're both pretty great and stable.
for me one of the best was superjellybean.. very fast, very smooth, and kitkat themed
