So, today in my country Sony released the ICS update (ST25a model) and I want to test it, but I flashed another ROM and I can't get the official update of my carrier. There's any way to get that new firmware?
There's any website that recopiles all the firmwares like samsung?
Thanks!

What you can do I guess is downgrade to gb then edit your SI code in build.prop to the one you mentioned above, then update through pcc or seus.
That's what I'm doing when it repressed for my country to see if there's any difference.

Build.prop is in /system/build.prop.
This is a small guide that I made a while back. Just remember to reboot after.

That's what is written under the battery. What about yours ?
According to WotanServer, for Greece the SI is 1252-3310, which should be right because for versin 2.3.4, DailySecret was preinstalled.
I uploaded the ftf for the official ICS 4.1.A.0.562 (1252-3310), that I got from Update Service, here:
www (dot) go4up (dot) com/link.php?id=1XMUwpP0RVNb
(new user, so I am not allowed to post links)
Thanks mate.
Do you know how to install cwm ?
for root there is this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1600728
which mentions cwm been compatible here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1346190
Didn't try it, I do not know if it works!
This one is working for sure: go4up.com/dl/1KBs1gvSnW7A
How to:
1.Enable USB debugging (settings->developer option),
2.Enable Unknown sources (settings-> security)
3.Connect usb cable to pc
4.Run .bat file
5.Connect usb cable to phone and press any key on keyboard
The phone will reset and its done
P.s 1253-3310 should be the Greek firmware i had it before and "sony ericsson update service" upgrade it to ICS same firmware.
You can check which version you have by pressing in dial pad *#*#7378423#*#* service info->software info, its the customized version.
Worked !
Now , i'm on official Greek ICS.
Thank you for your help.
Hey guys, how are we all??
Anyway, so my question is, anyone is NZ with a mini or mini pro got the official ICS update yet? Not coming up on mine. Also could someone tell me what the lastest FW is for NZ. SUS is saying mine is 0.62, but SUS is saying my gfs is 0.58? We have the same CDA number and same customization number too??
Cheers for the help,
Evil

ICS has not been released for the Mini anywhere in the world.
Check if your SI number is in this list for Mini Pro - http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/38383.
0.62 is the latest
CDA number is used to identify the customization of your phone. Were you confused between CDA number and SI number?
Hit Thanks If I Helped

No i know the difference, thanks, but the our SI number doesnt show up. So obviously no ICS yet.
OK so 0.62 is the final for NZ so far, then why is my gfs mp not updating to 0.62 like mine is?
Also after reading, there is still no way of rooting 0.62?? Without unlocking bootloader?
I that case does anyone have a CDA1249-9388 pre-rooted .62 ftf for me haha?
Cheers,
Evil.

some network providers just want to watch the world burn and delay or never allow to update FW to a certain version, maybe that's the cause.

Thanks for your insight but we are the same carrier. And we both bought it from the same store and not through our carrier? Weird right? I thought i knew how these things kinda worked but im at a loss as to why the same phone with the same settings(cda numbers and such) on the4 same carrier gets 2 different fws??
Cheers everyone for ya help,

Too much effort, I've looked into that, and i would rather just wait for ICS official on SUS for my SI number, then ill unlock bootloader and install a custom kernel then for root.

I'm not sure but i thought that the yellow tint is a hardware issue and has nothing to do with software whatsoever.

I don't think someone will ever notice that you didn't install the official over the air update you were supposed to get.
And also, it's not like you unlocked the phone and installed a custom rom. It's still an official Sony rom.
I don't see any obvious reason why a repair center would check your firmware version. After all it's a known issue and the solution to the problem is there.
And no, i don't have a backup image or so of my stock firmware.
There was a post here on xda with all GB tft files and there was a Belgium one.
Just search for that post, I can't seem to find it anymore tho

I returned my phone last week (also in Belgium) and to be sure I re-flashed my phone to stock.
I recommend doing it to.

I think of it like this, your phone arrives at the repair center. The person who has to repair it reads what is wrong with it. He then says: "Ah, i see, the yellow tint issue. Time to get to work, but not without checking the software version first".
It's a very unlikely scenario if you ask me. He's just going to fix the screen, check if it still works completely and maybe do some additional tests in the service menu or so.
But you could indeed just do what Hitmax117 mentioned, just to be sure.

Hi,
i am a xperia mini pro user. I want to update to my phone's original build/region firmware. My product code is 1249-0752. How can i do this? i have ftf of world Roms on GB and ICS. I also have root access. How do i successfully update or reinstall my firmware to the one for the product code 1249-0752
92 views and no reply?
would be kind if someone knows too. im from malaysia but my xperia active is from Netherlands :X
i figured out nothing to be done. i paid for wotanserver and updated with generic one for india.. but the SI is different.. sadly, for my SI which is stated above, ICS is not available via update service/suite. but the SI is there in the SI list which sony posted.
I haven't tried this myself, but if the SI number isn't included in the Official Sony ICS Update list, then updating via SEUS works even if your SI number isn't mentioned by Sony..
You can try it out..
Hello, i am not talking about android 4.0 update here! i am talking about the original firmware that came with the phone, which is the one which has the same SI number as the phone. Ofcourse i can edit any stock firmware's build prop via root and make it look genuine.. But i was wondering if there is a way to get the firmware with the same SI number. also, my SI number is listed in the update list by sony, but the update is not available yet.

Hello *achem* , first of all, update and flash are two different things.. flash would be the more appropriate word here so that members don't get you wrong..
If you try using Official tools like PCC then you will get an ICS update and not your original firmware.. so i think the answer lies in your above post itself as i cant think of any other way to do that.

@coolbuy.......
You know that you already answer your own question right????
Even if your phone SI number is listed but still no official update from Sony then there no way you (or other people) can download/upload/share it.....

Maybe because you already have updated to ICS using wotanserver, and when SEUS detects your software, it returns as no available update.
Why not flash a GB rom, edit build.prop to the SI number you want, and update using SEUS. I did that upgrading from GB to ICS (of course I had to do the things needed for ICS root) on my LWW. Just a suggestion.
Blah, i am using hybrom 11 with my on mods, i find it better than ICS. I have used ICS (wORLD)

Why do you need GB to sell it? It won't make a huge difference and the buyer is probably gonna end up upgrading it anyway
Anyway, here's the link for ICS in case it's useful for someone https://www.dropbox.com/s/7jfez2tekoajpuz/ST25a_6.1.1.B.1.10_None.ftf
Is imposible to find wit, there are some but all have bloatware of the carriers.
