So I am going to try meanrom now that swg is no more. swg has been great but I am still on 2.06 and its time to upgrade. I know I need to upgrade my radios but I dont know how to tell what radios im on or where to get the newest ones. I am rooted s-off (lazy panda).
So i guess I am asking if anyone can link me to the new radios so i can flash a new Rom. Also i assume they just get flashed by recover like everything else. Should I update anything else besides the radios?

Go to the link below. Use the first link under 'Firmware Downloads' in the OP. Rename the file PJ75IMG.zip, place it on the root of your external SD card and load it through your bootloader. Delete the file off your SD card once you've finished updating. This will update your PRI and radio to the newest versions.

Ok so I updated it and man i get some great 4g speeds now BUT... Now i get 4g speeds for a few minuets and it switches to 3g. The only way for me to get 4g again is to restart the phone...any advice why i am loosing 4g signal?

Did you try updating PRL and Profile? That may help or you could try to manually change your PRL.
Is there a new update?

is it a verizon prl or is it ok. I know that 11111 is a verizon. been running 11115 for a couple of days with good results but I dont want sprint to cancel me..
11115 is fine. It is a Sprint prl. Mostly given out to only some business accounts. But you won't have to worry about them saying anything. For more info, look at XsMagical's thread here.

Okay so when I downloaded the prl .zip and placed it and extract it unto the SD card. Then dialed ##775# then msl then update prl then selected the prl I downloaded. Then pressed menu and commit then it was successful then it said wait 10 seconds. Do I reboot my phone? Cause I've tried waiting and rebooting and its doesn't seem to give me better reception. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yes. It will go to the one which Sprint has designated for your area. If you wanted to go back, you would have to do the process all over again.
First of all I am unrooted. I downloaded the zip file for 11115 but when I type ##775# I don't get the password field to show up it just clears the dialer. Any ideas?

strange thing........
I changed my prl to this and it works great at my house ( I live in Virginia) but the family and I went out to eat and my reception was terrible. We only went about 10 miles away and with the old prl I got decent 3g signal but with this prl my 3g went to 1X and when I got back home it was again moving faster than ever again.
Okay I installed that and I renamed the 11115.zip to 11115.prl and used ##775# to update. Commit changes it said successful so I rebooted and I'm still on 22081 not 11115. I tried twice. What did I forget to do?

You don't have to rename it just extract the zip to your SD card.

I wish there was a way to update prl without using a pc. Kinda sucks there is no modified epst for the 4g lte

24004 is for corporate accounts. The 25004 is the "regular" PRL. You want the one you have .
Don't worry so much about it. PRLs oftentimes differ based on area and such. Some places get new PRLs faster, and some places just get different PRLs. A new PRL isn't a huge deal anyway, since they just decide how your phone roams.

ok since last night at 12 my data and my text and call stopped working,,even tried with 3 different roms,, hboot 1.12.2222 radio 1.12.11.0809 iv even flashed back my stock stock backup i did when i first got the phone,updated pri prl ect...i still get this
.when i go into settings under "about" i click on network "signal strength" it reads signal strength 0........mobile network type unknown.......service state ....out of service....i called sprint they say theres no restriction on my phone or account...and when i click on
"software information..firmware baseband ect...it says "pri version" "not ready" amd prl version...not ready.,,but when i installed my stock back up i have pri version 2.28-003 prl 25006 but still have no sevice......also on the notification bar above the service bars there is a x ...help whats the deal??
One time I couldnt receive or make any calls or text. I had to call sprint and they did something on their end. I was rooted and all and they did not detect it nor did they mention it.

yup went thru that with sprint today ,,had to call using my wife's phone,,,they said that i would have to take it in to a sprint tech,,bahahaha!!! i even tried 3 diffrent times just to see if someone else had a trick....

So you're saying you flashed the latest RUU and you still have an issue? If so, the problem must be hardware, not software. If you haven't done that, I would try that next, and then call Sprint and have them refresh your device. Or you can try to activate through Settings first.

Believe I updated to 25014 and for my location it didn't make a difference. This is a location based update.

Your not roaming on LTE but roaming on 1x while connected to sprint LTE. Its happened to me several times.
I got 4G in a new area where I'm at when I received that PRL. Pretty pumped about that.
