New app from Koushik Dutta, known for his work as cyanogenmod developer, creator of rom manager, cwm recovery and other android tools, called carbon.
It has beta status and you can test it for one week.

Worth a look.
Does this work for you guys? In my neo V i get an error saying to leave the desktop backup password blank. And I checked many times and it's blank. I'm not sure what the problem is, my neo v is rooted.

As the tittle say. i have purchased the premium version and installed CWm through it. i never used it before, i was always going through odin or cwm manualy. but yesterday i tryed to instal CyanogenMod 7 for Samsung Galaxy S II and that was reason for purchase the rom manager. but i coudlnt even see it in avaible ROMS. i did ther install the harder way. but i wanted automatic updates. i made research and i am left with no clue how to fix this issue.
i can only see cognition ROM's untill 1.06 and Darky's old roms. nothing else.
i tryed;
reflashing whole ROM
factory reset
wiped cache
reinstaled
and i also checked the option advanced in menu with no luck.
can someone give me idea how to fix this bad issue. i am unable to see roms.
Thanks
Any ideas? I am stuck...
Its not available for rom manager yet.
I've also got this issue. I can only see these options under download rom: extras, google apps, designgears roms and Novek, which I'm pretty sure are the ones I could see in the free version of rommanager. Although I'm not looking to install cyanogen it says in the cyanogen thread that it should be available in rommanager now.
Bump....can anyone help? :-(
Hi,
I just today put this on my phone,
i flashed the latest CF root using odin first, then used CWM to install RR2.3 through the aroma installer thing, I checked all the options. The previous rom i had was an older version of RR.
I used the extended instructions here, including all the wipes it suggests.
The problems i have are the following:
google apps, gmail, and android keyboard do not work - when opened they crash, and periodically a message pops up saying they have closed unexpectedly.
no signal
I have searched the forums, but not found anything similar - i wouldn't be surprised if it's out there, but there is just SO much, that i don't know how i'd be able to find it!!
Do any of you know how I can solve this problem?
I've since switched to dragon ics, but i really don't like the way it looks as much, and am now going to try out thebyani. I'd really like to have RR though...
Will.

Hello
Maybe I will start from begining, I am the happy owner of SGS2 GT-9100 (I very like this phone, I had no problems with it). Once I installed cyanogenmod 11 without any problems, but after the stagefright hole in almost every Android distro I was trying to go for a fix and install the newest CM12.1 (cm-12.1-20150807-NIGHTLY-i9100.zip). Everything would be perfect except few bugs (I could not do a factory reset on example). By trying to go back to CM11 I have found a lot of problems, like:
- 404 error on official CM11 download page for GT-9100, I don't know why they have cleaned CM11 releases from FTP download; I need a little help there, because CM12.1 is not working as intended (File Manager have a big problems with reading internal and external disks )
Edit: Oh I think I was looking for bad links, the nightly editions seems to be removed day by day, but the snapshots are still possible to download. I will tell if this will work
- CWMR installation (I could not do this with the .zip format so I managed to work with Odin which was hard, I had to download CWMR from not really trusted source because official download links are not in .tar or .img format). Now my stock firmware (yes, I went back to stock for a while) won't boot and I have to find yet another solution to upgrade my phone
At now everything I have is a CWMR actually, but I don't have any CM11 zip copy :~( I have been looking for nighties instad of snapshots
I will tell if my problems will go away
Problem fixed, I just had to go little out of official page for CWM 6.0.4.5+ to install few zips. I usually don't like this kind of solutions but this was the only way to go back. At now I am testing CM12.1 and reinstall fixed the problem with File Manager :~~)
If you are after the latest nightly CM11(recommended over the M12 snapshot), you can download it from HERE. Be sure to hit the thanks button for @Acid0057 and @KOR_ALien for providing the links/downloads

This talk probably belongs here instead of in the AICP thread.
Having flashed the: AOSP_M_160604_togari.zip
http://uploaded.net/file/lxsa2oqy/from/53n94q
The rom works by it self. I doubt anyone would run the rom this naked.
I have tried flashing various Gapps zip files before first boot and after first boot.
1a. Flashing rom in fastboot
1b.Reboot to twrp-3.0.2-0-togari
1c.Flash open_gapps-arm-6.0-pico-20160629.zip or open_gapps-arm-6.0-mini-20160629.zip
1d.reboot
Either gapps give the almost the same result. First try I used the mini gapps. I got to the setup wizard. When I came to the Wifi step.
The phone went black. I booted again and raced against the clock. Even if I finished the setup wizard half a second before the phone killed I always came back to the wizard on next boot.
Next try I erased all partition in fastboot and tried again with clean flash. Now flashed pico gapps. This time I came to "optimizing apps 1 of 68".
And the phone killed it self.
Flashing gapps after first boot and then rebooting to recovery does not work. It will give me a flood of force close on booting.
Same result with pico as mini.
Then I found a-gapps. A thread focusing on the issue when meeting the force close on setup wizard.
Also focusing on solving "google service stopped working".
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/gapps-gapps-6-0-1-minimal-t3276606
This works.
But after flashing xposed-v85-sdk23-arm.zip in recovery. With a-gapps. The phone kills it self when booting again.
Right after the Android boot animation is finished.
Earlier this afternoon I ran a seperate test with a clean install.
I used the microG GmsCore project. Which did work flawless with google apps syncing fine!
I also had SuperSU Root BETA v2.67.zip installed along with xposed-v85-sdk23-arm.zip
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-microg-gmscore-floss-play-services-t3217616
What I am unsatisfied with is the fact that the phone turns off. Completely.
Without any warning. With a smooth transition to black like you lock the phone. And it is off.
I can't troubleshoot what is wrong when it just turns off. I need something to look at. A log.
edit1:
My issue is probably related to this

Patch need to be included when compiling the rom.

I also had the force closing issue after installing open gapps pico. Just did a factory reset in TWRP and the issue was gone.

It would be strange if the issue did not go away when you made a factory reset
yes but the Google Apps stayed and were fully functional after the factory reset.

Can you tell me the specific partitions you wiped in twrp?
in TWRP, if you press the wipe button, another button appears called "wipe data". On the next page there is some important information highlighted in red. That worked for me.

An update: Flashed the AOSP_M_160717_togari.zip and open_gapps-arm-6.0-pico-20160731.zip
There is no force closes on boot. But the phone shuts down after a few seconds.
Edit2:
Wiped cache, dalvik cache, data. Still the rom shuts down.
Is your phone fully functional with gapps installed?
Yea so I installed Microsoft Launcher and it nailed the long press on the home button so recent tasks no longer came up during the launcher use. Worse, uninstalling it went fine except the feature still doesn't work.. so then I wipe back to factory and still it doesn't work and out of sheer paranoia, I wiped it again and you guessed it, nothing happens.
If I bring up the on screen buttons from the bottom, it works fine.
I have contacted the launcher team at arrow (MS) via feedback and they were only interested in fixing their software but looking at their known issues they are snowed under with failures of varying natures. So I contacted Maze themselves asking for some help or the official original rom because its not on the download page anymore, if it ever was.
I see a thread here but not being aGenius like some of you guys, wasn't sure.... I do want the official release from the official maze link. I saw a google drive thing but wasn't sure how to verify it is theirs.
Also gonna need to know how to install the thing, a basic guide will do, flash tool etc. Have done similar before on other phones but I am not confidently good at this really. thanks.
Edit : for the Maze Alpha 4GB

I need Stock Rom for MAZE Alpha X 6/128
Hello dear community, I own the phone AlphaX 6 128Gb recently tried to solve the bluetooth problem and tried to install the root and TWRP, after installing custom recovery, the phone stopped loading into the Android system. Only TWRP is loaded. I mistakenly flashed Maze_Alpha_B_V04_20171018 jn my phone, now I have a brick. Search for the original firmware results did not bring. There are ideas how to restore the phone. The fastboot mode is missing, I can only use SP_Flash_Tool. There are several backups of the original firmware made in TWRP, but the phone does not turn on at all.
Is this fixed for you?
