I have Xperia U having xperia lite 2 rom with Serajr v7.1 toggles...when i change usb storage option from toogles from MPT to MSC ,my computer needs andriod driver..i try very xperia U driver but could not identify and install,thats why i hve error of disk not inserted in computer....Any suggestion or someone know how to do it?

Hi guys,
the X10 does mount a cdrom and the sdcard when attaching to a USB Host. (official eclair Firmware).
Is there a possibility to remove the cdrom mount and only mount the sdcard?
Could this be possible to remove the cdrom image via a rooted device?
Background:
My car has a USB Host port and doesn't recognize the X10. I think this is because the cdrom is pronounced first on the USB Bus.
Has someone a hint?

Connect via usb ang go to usb connection settings. Look for "Install PC Companion" checkbox and unselect it.
If your rooted use titanium backup to uninstall pc companion

My pc dont detect my xperia sola its just charging, but when im using GB firmware it detects my pc both sdcard and internal. Im using ICS stock indian verision (i just flashed it) right now and idont know how will i able to set it up for my pc to detect it pls help.
I tried updating driver in the device manager but it didnt work, it says they cant find the drivers.

I tried already, the usb debbuging is detected but the sdcard and internal was not detected.
I'm not sure but maybe your device doesn't use UMS( usb mass storage protocol) anymore, instead it uses MTP( media transfer protocol) and it doesn't work all the time, try and see what pc companion says

I already solved the problem, i flashed the GB stock firmware then go to device manager and update both internal and sdcard drivers. Then I flashed the ICS stock firmware and it works.

I installed System Rescue CD using netbootin on my Xperia Ray 64GB SD card, to use my phone also as a usb recovery toolkit that is always with me.
I got problems booting from the phone because my android disconnect and reconnect itself every time I start the pc.
Is there a way to force mass storage mode until I manually set it off?
I'm using Superleggera V3, is it a mod related problem?
