16 digit samsung security password? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Trying to connect to diag mode. Spc is "000000"
I have tried the default Samsung password and all zero's and F's, with no results. Mabey its like the Verizon tab, that I remember reading, every device has a unique code. Anybody know a method of retrieving the code?
Thanks

HELP!!! Can't unlock.

Phone will not produce unlock code. Tried terminal but Vibrant will not go pass /is -ad. I think I flashed too many roms?!?!
I think the updates patch the hole the unlock program exploits. So its possible that you did.

That's why the second I saw that it was possible to unlock the phone, I got the unlock codes. You don't have to use them right away, but you should get them in case you ever need them.
Try "samsung galaxy s unlocker". I dont know what your trying to unlock with. this ^ is a market app that requires no terminal commands
Produces the unlock code and saves it to sd

Just call carrier and ask to provide you with the unlock code.. tell them that you travel out of the country and don't want to pay to much on international calls.. might take a couple days but at least you will always have the unlock code.

I forgot about calling the carrier. Thanks alot for you guys help! I had already tried the app but it still did not produce a code and asked if I had a Samsung Galaxy S phone. Disappointing that I couldn't do it myself.

Hi inb0x, were you able to find the Samsung 16 digit password for the SCH-R760? Please let me know if you did. Thanks
See if this one works.

I was looking all over for the password as well and took a chance on the one from the Admire R-720. CDMA Workshop and DFS both except it as valid however I'm not sure what to do with it after I enter it. I tried to read eeprom and it fails at 6% on CDMA Workshop, but does continue on with several errors in DFS. Anyways here it is (I have an Alltel Galaxy S2).

[Q] Lost my official network unlock after resetting my phone

Hi
I had unlocked my ATT S2 using official code from ATT. However after resetting my phone recently my phone is locked again. I had saved that code which they sent me to unlock my phone. However that code doesn't work anymore. Any suggestions on what I should do?
thanks
N
I would suggest you call AT&T.
I called ATT and got a new unlock code from them. However his unlock code is not working. I will try to call them again tomorrow.

If possible take a corporate store location. If the next code doesn't work.

MSL

Ok I have searched xda and tried a few different ways to get my msl code.. As yesterday I used the app "msl reader" and it said my device is not recognized but it still gave me a msl code. So my dumb ace used it and now my data is all messed up and I gotta toggle air plane mode every ten seconds. I am running the new sense 5 4.3. I am trying the logcat way now and I can't find it in there, I have tried using Terminal Emulator and that didn't work. Does anyone have any other way to find it Since Sprint won't give it to me... Thanks
uh.. you just said msl reader gave you the msl.
what are you looking to get then?

I followed that data "fix" using ##3something with the part that requires the msl code and had the same result. It wasn't the msl code you used. If you used a bad code it wouldn't have let you do anything. Its more like a password.
If you followed this procedure http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50336502 then repeat just the first half with ##72786# and stop after updating prl and profile. Don't do the ##3 something part. Data still isn't perfect but it got better after I did that.

Well it's been working better now that I did the data fix earlier.. thanks everyone

For future reference sprint will give it to you. All you have to tell them is that you want to manually program your device. I got mine for my s3 less than a week ago...
