Just noticed that App Sorter/ZortAps does not work anymore. Samsung has changed something in this rom concerning TouchWiz.
I can manually arrange icons and they organized nicely. But when I reboot my device my apps are spread to 7 pages!
Any ideas for sorting? Thanks.

yeap facing same issue...is that a bug or what? it was ok before this..but now despite arranging manually after reboot it goes back to more then 9 pages !...i trim mine to 5 by making folder etc but still it goes back to 9 pages...this is irritating !
TW Sort Apps did not work on my SGS II previously also. Maybe because it does not work on the newest firmware versions. Waiting for an App Sorter which works and also waiting for the BLN control app for SGS II
gotta live with it until final 2.3.4 is released...right now i got 9 page with some page is missing some icon/empty...lol...it was ok in 2.3.3...
this bug happen in stock KG1 and Custom VR2.0
Ok. Thanks for the info guys.
I just read that you can try to reset TouchWiz via settings - apps - touchwiz - clear data. You will lose widget settings etc too. I don't know, if this works.

You can use TWRP recovery. Yesterday i used it myself.
And I forgot to say something more about this rom. I tested it for whole week.
This is ready for daily use. Good battery, smooth and really fast.
But there are some issues with current aplication list.
For example: Antek Quicksettings are good, but you should not kill proces(long home button...) because they will stop working and you need to start them again.
Also i next release there will be Holo Locker included, because I hate that status bar can be scrolled down even if device is locked. I took phone in pocket and sometimes i accidentally start wifi or called somebody because of this.
Xperia keyboard is not too very good. Width is ok, but height is not so good, at least for me. Any idea for some other keyboard? On 4.2 JB keyboard there was not fuctional swype, so i deleted it. Stock Samsung keyboard is not suitable for me too.
Next release will be probably at friday, maybe earlier.
And I almost forgot to thx Benz0nator for his advices how to make rom. Thanks man.
Nice work!

Hi mate! Do you think it might work on L version?
Just wipe and install.
And it should work on L version, but i did not test it I dont have L version.
But i abandoned this project because there is now CM 10 or CM10.1 and those are much better.

Thanks mate. I'll try it today :good:
To be clear, these will only work for AOSP ROMs and the GoogleEdition ROM.
Threw these together for myself. Love having the navbar but it is a pain to add every nightly I flash. So I threw this together. I made two versions. One simply adds the navbar and disables the capacitive menu and back buttons (with them active the navbar becomes nearly impossible to use) and triggers the navbar. Fear not, this mod triggers the in app menu overflow access and for that matter you could then create a menu on the navbar. I couldn't automate disabling the backlight so that will still need to be disabled via settings>advanced>sensors. I also made a version that changes the device DPI from 480 to 360 (my preferred DPI).
Download - AOSP_navbar_enabled.v3.zip
Base version above now allows OTA survival. Will reapply itself after each nightly.
Download - AOSP_navbar_enable_360dpi.zip
Download - AOSP_remove_NAVBAR.v3.zip
Here is the method to inject changed into the build.prop that I used (found here)
On the GoogleEdition ROM it does not support disabling the capacitive button backlights natively so the app from the following thread is needed
[APP] Google Edition ROMs - Disable Button Lights

Of course you are welcome to your opinion!! And in part I agree. That is why I run at 360dpi, that way it has less of an impact on the display. I know it is not for everyone, but choice is the spice of life.

Thanks for this. Is it possible to only activate the in app menu overflow without adding the nav bar? It's so much more intuitive to have that, rather than guessing whether or not the menu button will do anything within each app (the whole reason google got rid of the menu button in the first place).
I wish I knew how!! To be frank, when you enable the navbar and disable the capacitive buttons it activates the menu overflow within apps all by itself. Must be part of the navbar framework. But let me look into it. I MIGHT have an idea but it would be ROM specific, not a general mod like this. What ROM are you running or would like such a feature for?

I will try for the GE port, it should be an easy mod. These don't work on stock touchwiz as it doesn't have the needed framework for the navbar. For some reason Samsung gutted the navbar from their source

Oh it works very nice, but there are some cases (like tapatalk) where the menu would instead be within the navbar so this is not a capacitive menu replacement

*** This mod is designed for device / rom that didn't have a onscreen navbar (i.e.: samsung rom) ***
If your rom already have a navbar, you should already have 3dot menu enabled and enabling this mod will only hide your navbar!
This mod will enable 3dot menu button in all application (using a 0 height navbar), enjoy!
Side effects:
Samsung use fixed layout for their apps, and when a navbar is enabled we got unexpected results, can't do nothing about this... (see screenshot)
after enebling the mod screenshot combination change to AOSP style: Power+MenuDown

No, it's a guideline suggested since android 3.0 honeycomb, so the app had to support it.

Canot take screenshots either...

Have same long press issues as well for recent apps. Have tried several ROMs for the T-Mobile S3 T999, all running 4.1.x Touchwiz base (need WiFi calling).
Long press opens Google voice search or s-voice depending on install

Description
Here's another feature I extracted from the GravityBox Xposed Module.
The module adds a bar at the top of recent tasks screen showing the amount of used/free RAM.
Requirements:
Xposed Recent Tasks RAM should work on any device having Xposed 2.1 or greater and Android 4.1 or greater (google based rom.. as mentioned in the GravityBox post "pure or close to pure Android").
Tested on
- Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 with Android 4.3 (teuf3l)
- Samsung Galaxy S with HellyBean (a fork of Cyanogenmod 10.2 - Android 4.3) and Xposed 2.3.1. (myself)
- Samsung Galaxy S3 with 4.1.2 Touchwiz ROM (SuperSmashedBro)
- Samsung Galaxy S4 with WanamLite 1.5 XXUBMH1 Android 4.2.2 (TouchWizz Rom) (yurividal)
Thanks
To C3C076 for his open source development.
Download
From the bottom of this post or from the Xposed Repository.
Update: v1.1
Fixed the number formatting issue (Reported by yurividal)
Thank You!!! I have been waiting for this a long time! I had also requested Wanam to Add it on His WanamXposed. Can i link him the source code?
---------- Post added at 03:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:44 PM ----------
Just an Observation:
On my i9505 it looks a little weird. I have 2GB of ram. When i see the Bar, i usually see 0.91GB used / 900MB free...
The used part rounds to GB, while the Free remains on MB... this is a little annoying. Would look nicer and be more eye-friendly if it all remained in MB...
GravityBox and XBlast had the same issue. Could that be moded?
It is nothing serious, but i believe it would make the app look nicer.
Thanks for your work!
Can i link him the source code?
Sure.
GravityBox and XBlast had the same issue. Could that be moded?
The problem obviously persisted since I took the code from GravityBox. I'll look into it. It shouldn't be difficult to fix this.
Nice! Thank you. It shure looks much better and user-friendly now!
Take a look at before and after Screenshots.
By the way, on your description you say it is suposed to work on AOSP roms only. You can go ahead and add Samsung TouchWizz Roms too. (touchwizz users will have 2 clear-all buttons. One from Samsung on the bottom, and one from the Mod on the top. No big deal tough)

Yep. It's for 4.1+
Though... If I think it through, this should work with Android 4.0 too. I'll try to decrease the minimum SDK level. I can't guarantee anything but I'll try that and hopefully it will work.
EDIT: Here's it is. It should work on Android 4.0+. Please test and tell me if it works.

Yes that would be more than enough!
Or if this gets too difficult you can simply make a separate version where the RAM bar is at the bottom instead of at the top! Or maybe even at the left or right. That way nothing gets overlapped
Anyways thanx!

I suppose then you won't be adding an option to move the clear all button. Would a separate package with a bottom-left button position be too excessive?
