Hi guys,
Do you know if there are any amazing HD resolution games for Windows Phone 8?
I found 4-5 here http://www.slatejournal.com but wondering if there are more?
Talking about really good games, tried picnic wars (did not like), some other recent lumia exclusives, all were bad too

All i can say is that windows7 isn't completely ported yet to hd2 (as far as i know).
Be aware that running win7 take a lot of resources too especially now when its not stable yet so playing games on it would be a pain i guess.
Im pretty up for games myself but i don't think i ever saw a single win7 game for hd2 in my search... and believe me i search a lot ;p
I search a lot too. I don't think I seen one single game on WP7 for HD2. All I see on HD2 is WP7 and give a brief tour, that all.
As many of you found when you first initiated your tablet, there were 2 "HD" games pre-loaded onto our Jetstream's.
·Let's Golf 2 HD
·NFS: Shift HD
Now, as we all know, gaming support for our expensive tablet has been well, very slow.
But what I want to talk to guys about today is if the games available to us through the Play Store are, or are not High-Definition games? Because the "HD" part on most icons is missing?
Are "HD" games nVidia Tegra only? Is that the issue?
Should I not worry about it?
Secondly, and evermore disconcerting is that I've been looking through the Reviews sections of most popular games, and I haven't yet found a single review, from any of us...
Does that mean that us Jetstream users aren't buying games?
Please reply.
I have the wheres waldo game.
looks hot.
lol

You can search the marketplace on your computer. Take a look and you can judge if the marketplace has all you need.

as far as i know, angry birds game is not free. But all apps i need, are free. Messengers, LED flash light,... I'm surprised, there are really good apps, with nice functionality and they also fit into WP7 interface (Metrotube, Wikipedia, SoundHound...)
The collection of apps and games is growing in the Windows Phone Market Place. I am loving my Lumia 800 like crazy
I own a galaxy s3 and i recently sold my nexus 7. I primarily used my nexus 7 for games and comics and when i had some unexpected financial crap pop up the tablet was the first thing to go. I kinda wish i didnt sell it. Now ive gotten to looking around for different tablets and found the nexus 10 to be a sexy device, looks and feeling wise, but ive read that it has a ridiculous resolution that has very few optimized apps for it. i wondering if any of you might have any of the games ive collected off humble bundle on your nexus 10s and how well they work.
anomaly korea
avadon the black fortress
beat hazard ultra
bladeslinger
canabalt
cogs
contre jour
crayon physics deluxe
dungeon defenders
dynamite jack
eufloria
machinarium
metal slug 3
nightsky
plants vs zombies
solar 2
splice
super hexagon
sword and sworcery
swords and soldiers
the room
waking mars
zen bound 2
The only one I've had problems with it Machinarium, it had a very very bad framerate when I tried it on my n10. No problem with any other though.

i cant honestly say ive played or will play all of these games but im most concerned with machinarium, sword&sworcery, waking mars, and plants vs zombies.
One thing to remember is the Nexus 10 is primarily a media consumption device. Whereas the Nexus 7 is a gaming tablet. The Nexus 7 plays games for better then the Nexus 10 does.

hmm..i really dont have any graphic intensive games i plan on playing though. it couldve just been my internet service but i felt like my nexus 7 was slow on the internet browsing department. is there a real difference between the internet speeds between the 7 and the 10?
back to the gaming department.. the stuff i play the most are machinarium, sword n sworcery, plants vs zombies, organ trail, rayman, simpsons tapped out, jet pack joyride, league of evil, world of goo, and the GTAs

The I/O speed is terrible on the Nexus 7, and and I personally think the Tegra chips such for anything but gaming. I have a Nexus 7 as well and there is a big browsing difference

7 inches is a great size for gaming, if that's what you want to do, primarily. The new Nexus 7 is a great choice for that.
On some games, the buttons are a bit too spread out on a 10" tablet. NOVA 3 for example was difficult to play because there were some buttons in the bottom corner, and some in the upper corner, and you had to move your hand to reach them.
I ultimately sold my Nexus 7 (2012) because I do a fair bit of reading and watching videos on my tablet, which I prefer a 10" for. I still play plenty of games on it, but not really anything as complicated as a first person shooter.
In terms of speed, they are both screaming fast, so nothing to worry about there.
