There's a thread about that from a while back. Google for it, the cure is there.
i found alot of threads. did the same thing. :/.
The usual remedy is return to at&t stock ICS and LF6 modem, set up the phone, then flash the Blaze or Skyrocket modem, then go on to the next rom you want.
Whatever rom you just flashed doesn't have the t-mobile ril and library files in the system.

You could try the LG3 modem in the first post before you return to stock.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30335211
Remember to reboot and check for correct APN values.
Mine is absolutely fine with ics blaze and im getting 4g. Did you try loading touchwiz dialer and entering *#2263# and hit automatic. See what that does if still nothing that still odin i guess...

i tried to follow the guide for restoring back to default. failed.
installed padawan again. got it to send a few mms.
installed jellybeer and got service but still no data connection
Try flashing a t-mobile modem.
put flasppjaxxs aosp on and everything i working fine
I don't know if this'll help you any, since I'm on at&t, but you might as well try.
I had the same problem a while back. I ended up going to settings - > wireless and networks - > more - > mobile networks and playing with the settings. It turned out I had the wrong apn.

Right, ive noticed a few prople have had similar problems but nothing that is the same as what im am experiencing.
basically, about 6 weeks ago i flashed the Alien v4 rom (wanted to retain webtop else i would have chosen cm7). this has worked flawlessy till now. Ive suddenly started having issues with wifi and data connectivity.
When connected to wifi i get internet access for aropund 2>10 minutes. then i lose it, although my phone still says im connected to the network. When i turn off the wifi, i check the wireless setting and it says that mobile networks are not connnected. when this happens, the data icon in the task bar is grey not green, ive noticed i only get a connection when its green.
System version:
4.5.91.MB860.ATT.en.US
Baseband:
N_01.100.00R
Webtop:
WT-1.2.2-110
Kernel:
[email protected]#3
I had the same problem before, a few months ago. Think it was just an issue with the ROM I was using. Have you tried a different ROM?
Not yet, will be when i get home. I was under the assumption however that alien was the best (webtop rom) in terms of speed and stability
Just backup your ROM in recovery - try out as many ROMs as you'd like to try. You might find one that both resolves your problem and suits you better, and as long as you have that backup you can just jump straight back in where you left off with your current ROM.
I have a backup anyway. Always make one once I know a rpm works after flashing. Been flashing for too long with many a handset to not keep backups. Ive learned the hardway with this haha

Any JellyBean ROM I flash as a second ROM (Kernel: Siyah 4.1.5) has no APN's (Access Point Names). But others report that they are there. The latest I've flashed is Revolt v2.5, before that was Kafee4Eck v8 and RR v3.0.8
I can NOT add any either (i.e. they will NOT save)! Setting to default and rebooting doesn't help.
I have switched Airplane Mode on & off, with and without data enabled, rebooted multiple times, checked carrier signal, changed location and searched all the forums.
I have used "APN backup & restore" from the Google Play (but changed to a system app with Titanium) to backup the APN's on RR v2.7 and then try restore them on any JB ROM but they just do not appear.
Any ideas?

Search for APN in Galaxy SII Q & A, there are similar cases that have been solved.
Next time, search before opening new thread
You must be making jokesy...
Did I not say in my post that I have searched, which I did, but apparently not using the correct keywords. You could have just linked to this post with very little effort: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31308816&postcount=29
Thanks anyway
Does APN work when you flash as your primary rom?

Hi,
I tried the following codes on my phone:
*#06#
*#1111#
*#1234#
*#7465625#
and all I get is the message: "connection problem or invalid MMI code"
I do not think any codes works on my phone now....
Has anyone else come across this and can help?
This may have nothing to do with it but the Phone was unlocked using Voodoo sim unlock, and the original EFS files were backed up.
Arghh..!
I have now restored the original EFS files [with sim lock], and still no joy.
I am using a UK, Three, SGS3, SotMax V8.0 Rom and Yanks Kernal.
I have just read that newer FW are not compatible with voodoo sim unlock method.
Perhaps this might be related to the problem??
Anyone got any suggestions?
Anybody please?
Which rom are you using? If its anything Aosp based these codes will be likely not to work. If its stock or a Samsung custom rom then it usually should but not all the time. I use omega 33.2 and certain codes don't work. Try using *#0011#. That works on my rom so ...

Sorry I didn't read the second post, if that's the case try doing a full wipe and start again.

Sounds like your Radio is the problem because the codes are not getting to the service provider...switch radios and your problem will go away with the right radio
Almost certainly the feature has been removed from the Rom, go to thread and ask

I am going nuts here I have been searching all over the net and I still have not been able to fix this problem, so I am sorry if this seems like a repeated thread.
I have a Tmobile rooted Samsung Galaxy S III, I was running a nightly Cyanogenmod 10 ROM. Yesterday there was an update for that rom and I downloaded it and installed it, everything was fine and running smoothly until some people started telling me that they were not able to reach me by phone. I tried checking what was wrong and I finally realized that whenever I have my mobile data on or while I am using it I don't receive voice calls. I tried looking everywhere for a way to fix this and I came across the ##DATA# code in which I could turn off the DDTM option but unfortunately my phone doesn't recognize that code.

}
this is the message I get every time I try to enter ##3282# code.
I thought that maybe something was wrong with the ROM itself so i decided to browse around here for one for my Tmobile samsung galaxy S 3 and I decided to install this one [ROM][4.2.2][RC1] LiquidSmooth ROMs - d2tmo - 2|14|13
after wiping data/cache and dalvik cache I installed this ROM and this is my current phone info
and still when I am using my mobile data I cant receive calls nor put the ##DATA# code to turn off DDTM.
is there any other way I could access that DDTM option? I am so frustrated or maybe I am doing something wrong.. I do admit I am no pro at this.
Please if any of you could help me I will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Wrong forum, mate. Ask in the T-Mobile S3 forum. This is for GT-I9300 International S3, not the T-Mobile variant. Anything suggestions you get here might brick your phone. Good luck!
For the record, even I couldn't access the ##DATA# code in GT-I9300.

What version is this ? CM 10.1 ?
There is no stable build out yet, so you might want to report these issues in a CM 10.1 nightly specific thread.
Nightly builds are prone to have issues. That's why they are not called stable
So I gave this phone to my mother a while back. It was working fine for a while, but when she said it was slowing down a little I decided to update her rom to something a little newer.
She was previously on a 4.1 version of AOKP, about a month or so ago, I updated to the newest 4.2 version of AOKP.
When I did this, she started having problems with her mobile data going out. She works in an area with bad service, and she would leave work and go to make a call, and she would get a mobile network unavailable error message and the phone would be unusable until she rebooted. This would happen about once every 1 or 2 days. It was especially annoying because if people tried to reach her - they wouldnt even get a ring on their end.
Another thing I noticed is that her phone memory is completely full even though there is barely anything installed. I put just the essentials on there, and she doesn't install anything. Heres what her phone looks like:

}
No idea what happened or why its doing this. (the storage issue)
As for the mobile network going out - I have had this problem in the past, and im not sure how I solved it other than just keep flashing roms. Could it possibly be a wrong radio flashed? We're located in CT, US if any specific radio is recommended.
I should also point out - After flashing to 4.2 AOKP and seeing these issues - i flashed to slim beans newest rom - and the same exact issues kept happening.
Please let me know anything I can do to try and fix this. Id like to do it as quickly as possible since I dont live with my mother - so i dont have a lot of time to mess around with her phone - she just needs something that works.
I would flash it to latest bare bone stock rom using Odin.

when you say barebones stock - are you referring to the an ATT stock rom, or an AOSP stock rom?
I777ucmd8 AT&T stock. 4.1.2

about the space issue, there are 2 solutions. you can simply flash another rom ( i took this one since i feel like stock is too clunky). or you have o be rooted, and then you have to go into terminal and do some things, keep looking around it's some thread with a link.
as for the signal issue, modem uck666 (or something like that, it has 'k's and '6's) worked for me.
