Hello everyone! I have neo v f/w 4.1.b.0.587 and rooted. I have moved as many apps in sd as i could but i want to move more to free more phone memory (now 220 MB free from 420MB). What could i do? Is there any app that could do this job better? (I have installed link2sd, titanium backup, rom manager, rom toolbox, superuser)
I appreciate ANY answer!
Thank you for your time!

No nothing more that can help your case! These are the best apps available!
You can remove some built in apps! Or else just try a custom Rom....!

I personally have deleted all the bloatware on that list and am very happy with my Sola's performance.
Hi
Are there any stable custom ROMs for Sony Xperia U like the Cyanogenmod 7.2 / 9 / 10?
Also are there ROMs that allow the access to full 8GB internal memory?
(Maybe even 6GB but not as 4+2 but 6 as a whole so when 4GBof data fills up it can use the free space from
the 2GB of App partition)
Thank you.
No

Thanks for replying.
I would like to know why is it that a custom ROM cannot access the memory as a whole?
Some system level locks?
Also, I see that you are using CM9.1. How is it working?
Please do point to how I can unlock/root & load CM9.1 (including the xpeia U CM mod download link).
Thanks a ton.
Trust me its awesome all instructions are in first post of this topic

Hello.
I want to change from CM9 FXP202 to FXP204 because in FXP202 the GPS don´t work in my NEO with Vodafone. But I don´t want to reinstall apps with Titanium and return to reconfigure the icons desktops and widgets and apps.
So I think that to update rom, I have to flash kernel, make full wipe and flah rom. Is it necessary? Is there a method to don´t lose the apps and desktops?
Thank you.

When you update from one fxp version to another you don't lose apps...usually you don't need to wipe... Just install...
So did you try?
Sent from my Xperia Neo V using xda app-developers app
I think that what I have to do is:
Flash kernel
Boot in CWM
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik cache
Flash FXP ROM
If I don't do more Wipes, Iwill not lose my apps. :good:
Now, I hope that they have resolved the problem of GPS with 2011 devices in FXP204

As above mentioned topic
Is anybody know how to increase internal memory in neo v using ext4 method I tried in xperia t rom using script in that Rom section got bootloop
Plz help with full step by step explanation........
Sent from my MT11i using xda premium
Hi.
First of all you must be root.
Second, you have to create the ext4 position in your SD card. There are several places that explain this, just search.
Then, there are some apps you can use for this. You cab get most of them from market like link2sd or similar.
If you are using cm7, cm9 or cm10, you can use s2e. It allows you to move also dalvik. But it does not work with cm10.1

there is a script for that in the arc s section check it out
U cant use it since u already created a script and mounted ur partition using link2sd. After u flash a fresh rom. U can flash it without using link2sd
Currently if u flash that script ul end in a bootloop.
P.S. the script is by XtremeSilencer. Search in arc dev section

To increase your internal memory you can use very good program Mounts2SD, from Google Play, configurable. Its simply, usefull and stable.
Or cronmod int2ext4v2+, it's good too, but i prefer Mounts2SD. I don't have any problems with bootloops, etc.
Does someone tested Mounts2SD with CM10.1?
Guys I hve successfully increased my internal memory by cronmod int2ext+.
Guys now I hve 1.5GB internal memory with class6 sd card
With zellycream Rom
Sauve kernal
Oc to 1.2ghz
Ram around 160mb free always
Nfs mw running like a charm (all games)
Now got the solution this topic can be closed.
