Round icon set...? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I'm currently looking for a good round icon set. I've found a couple, but i'm looking for an extensive set. The ones I've found thus far I've only been able to mix and match with my current icon set, which is square and covers every app I install. So for now I'm using rounds for dock only (two different sets, actually, alternating). Paid or free, I don't mind supporting devs...

Try metrostation...lots of icon choices in quasi alphabetical order and you can customize colors too.

Questions about icon changes

I was wondering how to get different icons for my vibrant I've seen some folks uusing the Mario mushrooms and some had better looking web and contacts stuff like that.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I think they either used better cut or desktop visualizer
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Is better cut easy to use or will there be some learning to go threw?

From what I learned everything is a learning process when it comes to XDA, check out the market for apps that change icons and your user interface, another suggestion is to check out the Vibrant Themes and Apps section. There is plenty of mods and themes there, I'm currently using the Black Froyo Theme and loving it! Check out some pics of it here

Lol, he needs a little more direction than that...
There is an app in the market called "Desktop Visualizer", download it. It will allows you to create widgets on your home screen that are completely adjustable (you pick the image, the application it pulls up, and the name below it). If you want to use text icons I suggest you download some packs which can be found on:

Hd widgets for tablets

If your looking for a fully customizable clock, weather, settings widget for your tablets check out this app. It's 99 cents on the market. It is perfect because I customize my homescreen every couple of days when I get bored with it. Check it out.

Here are some pics, many different options, colors and themes.
Thanks, I've been wondering when something like this would be developed.
You can make the background of these widgets transparent right?
Yep you can just brought it and looks great very easy to customise all aspects thanks for the tip to op

yes, every widget size has an option for transparent, black, white, grey, blue, glass, green, red and a few others. I loved the Asus weather widget but hated the very large location wording, I live in a town with a large name so the widget took up half my screen. I just love how many different ways you can customize this widget to go with any theme or wallpaper.
Pretty good app, especially for .99!

I found two bugs in it yesterday emailed the devs and update was released today which fixed it and they replied via email vey quickly so well worth the small price they are asking

another vote for this application
i bought .. provided some suggestions to devs and already received an email response ... excellent customer support
Widget "HD tablet Half Page" 4x7 shortcut: tap the date not open calendar.
Just wish it had better clock selection. I hates me a stylized "LED" digital clock, and what I hates worse than a stylized "LED" digital clock is a Sense-looking flip clock, and for right now, those are the only choices.
Just give me plain numbers please, no faking of ancient technology on a modern high-resolution LCD.
This thread sold me. Bought it and love it as well.

Is that app panel in the Jets picture part of the widgets pack or is that something else?

I'm using the launcher adw ex and that is one of the task bars. I just swipe down and it goes away. Swipe down again and it comes back. It's wonderful!
The bookmarks widget is a free widget called android pro widget. It is all the launcher pros Widgets just seperate so I can use them on adw ex.

ssLauncher

Don't have a market link for it, but this is by far the most unique launcher I ever used. Its styled after magazines and you can change just about everything. It even has page turning transition effects. A go launcher replacement in my opinion. Go check it out Lord willing

gave it a shot. I like the concept -- but its not for me.
very fast and smooth on my CM7 atrix though.
Definitely interesting.
After emailing the dev, found its closed source though. Personally not fond of using an app with so many permissions without access to source (same story with GO apps)
ADW is still for me, but thanks for sharing.

I came across after a post somewhere here, and it is a ripper. It gives massively more customisation than anything I've seen to date. Effectively you can even set things almost to the pixel, and set every attribute of it. I say things, because you can add may things.
Now that I have freed myself from app launching woes in each launcher by using a combination of WaveLauncher and FolderOrganizer, I can swap launchers at will. I no longer need to mess with app groups in each one, and can customise widgets alone. This one will be one of my all-time faves, I can tell.
I look forward to it progressing. I already have a few suggestions!
I haven't tried this launcher yet, but I also have use both wave/folders together. I find it much more efficient Anne completely frees up my screens.

Thanks for the recommendation! I am looking for a simple yet elegant launcher and this fits well to what i wanted!

In search of an app.

I'm looking for an app can capture does on your screen to use for later use. Example: if I wanted my status bar to match my background the app would allow me to click or highlight the background to get the specific for to use for the status bar. Any ideas anyone?
Sent from the Great White Note
For clarity-i attached a screen shot of my home page, are you asking if there's an app that fills in the black strip that is the status bar. You want the status bar to be the same as said back ground?
Sent from my Samsung-SGH-I717 using xda premium
No that's not what I mean. For instance if I wanted my status bar to be the same color as one of your icons on your home screen how could I get the exact color for that?

Yea I don't know. I did do some googleing around for my own pleasure and I came up with a few old xda links. The links talked about changing status color but it was in frame work etc...way out of my league. I also looked thru play store and came up empty.

I do not know if this will help but there is an app called super status bar, not sure if it is still on the market but I believe that it is, and you can have your status bar look however you'd like. As far as having it the specific color of something else, you may just have to play around with colors as I've never heard of (but does not mean it does not exist) a program that can copy a color based off of a picture or background. Hope that helps. Best wishes
