[Q] Touchscreen not working Huawei Slim 7

Dear All
My Ideos slim 7 touchscreen is not working since a few days, and the usb debugging mode is OFF
I tried to re-install many firmwares ( the original one, MTN firmware etc), but the problem persists
is there a way to turn the usb debugging mode to ON from the computer so that I can use the fastboot ?
Thank you

I have the same problem. What I did was connect a wired keyboard to my s7 slim(with micro usb adaptor). Most keys won't respond. Press the F1 key, a menu at the bottom of the screen pops up. Scroll using the arrow keys to settings. In the application section using the arrow keys scroll down to developement mode and press enter on the keyboard. You then use to check debugging mode. When you are done, press the home key and it will take you back to the home screen. To shut down press the power button, scroll down, press shut down and hit enter on your keyboard. I was able to activate debugging mode and root my tablet, but after reinstalling the firmware my screen still does not respond.

Thanks for telling ! I had been looking for this information for a long time.
Apparently, my service info says "bootloader unlock allowed: yes", I wonder if it means that I actually unlocked it or that the device would accept me to do it.
I moreover wonder how one can manage to install CM or root its device without using Recovery Mode. I saw on your signature you rooted your device. May I ask how you did that ?

It means your bootloader CAN BE unlocked.
To install a ROM, such as CM, you first unlock your bootloader, then move the ROM zip to your device. After that, you flash the included kernel from the zip with fastboot. Then, you boot into the included recovery from the kernel and flash the whole ROM.

I finally found a solution to my problem : I unlocked the device using flashtool-0.9.11's gui procedure, instead of flashtool's fastboot. It succeeded and I can successfully flash anything I want on the device.
I found your rational approach to my problem useful. It helped me isolate a solution. Thanks !

Onda V975s (USB debugging disabled, pass code lock and can't enter recovery mode)

Hi guys,
I've got an Onda v975s tablet and it's been a pain to sort out. I've forgot the pass code, the tablet doesn't have USB debugging enabled and there is no way I can enable it because I can't get past the lock screen. Also to make matters worse, every key combination I try does absolutely nothing, the tablet just boots up like normal to present with the lock screen. The only key combination that does something is, holding the power button + volume down keys and that just loads the tablet up in safe mode.
Is there anyway I can resolve this problem?
Kind regards,
Hmoh

[HELP] Can't access recovery mode

Hi everyone, I'm a new xda user.
I have a big problem with a Huawei Mediapad T3 7" BG2-U01.
My friend doesn't use it very often and he forgot the password.
The real problem is that seems like this tab doesn't have a recovery or a dload mode.
I tried all the combinations of the buttons but the recovery(MIUI), the dload mode and the chinese recovery don't work, there's only a reboot to the lockscreen.
He never enabled the Debug USB, so ADB and the pc don't see the device.
Is there any chance to do an Hard Reset or unlock the tab?
Thanks for helping me
Hard reset or Stock Recovery:
· off Tab
· Press power button for only 2 sec then release
· Immediately press hold volume up until Huawei logo appears
