Nope. But you can Google and read about them yourself.
Unless you need the camera, I can recommend just getting the latest CM9 installed.
We've had alpha 2 on our TP since it came out and it is pretty much perfect other than the camera is not working.

Hi guys thanks for responding. What about the audio, netflix, and wifi? For example I see some threads where it seems that wifi is unfixable. But from what's being posted it that seems to not be the case. Can someone clarify?

Audio and wifi works fine for me in CM9. Can't comment on Netflix since I don't use it.
Anyway, just go ahead and take the plunge. Every TouchPad owner should just install CM9. You have absolutely nothing to lose (except perhaps your warranty, but who cares about that?) and everything to gain.
Netflix youtube and flash have been fixed up nicely, im on 9.0.0 RC0 touchpad-alpha2 , earlierversions had some issues with netflix n such. As well, i've never had a problem with wifi on any rom ive ever tried.
Okay I think I'll take a look. Any idea when the next major release or milestone is? I'm going on vacation in a few so would be nice to have a nice newer version waiting for me...
And can anyone recommend a guide? I know there are some on sites like prenation but can someone recommend one that is actually updated and that they have personal experience with?

Re: Guide
Just follow the steps here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1305891
Then flash CM9 and Gapps via CWM recovery. Wipe data, cache, and dalvik. Reboot. Enjoy.

I've personally found the official threads to be the best guide, but I suppose YMMV.
As for the question in the OP, I'm currently running eyeballer's unofficial nightly from the 18th, and it's held up quite well against everything I've thrown at it thus far.
Obviously, the camera and microphone don't work, but that's expected. I've had no issues with WiFi connectivity, although I have had one random reboot.
I'm running with a modest overclock to 1.7 as well.
Don't think. Just do it like all of us here. Its not a wrong move if all of us done that

Did they ever get the camera working on CM7? I don't think so. Either way, I'm using CM9 every day. It's awesome. You'll never go back webOS. Hopefully Windows 8 can get flashed over to this bad boy too.

I waited and waited. Thought about rooting and using a ROM before the official ICS update came from AT&T but just decided to wait. Finally got the update via Kies, excited like a school girl. Initially it was a cool new bit of scenery, and as the OS settled in with me, i found myself disappointed and wanting my gingy back. I've been upgrade for a couple months now i think, and had plenty of time to try to get used to it.
I am finding lots of things that just plain suck.
1 - Text message notification audible alert discontinues after awhile (unknown amount of time), only resolution I've found is to reboot the phone. This sucks because just out of nowhere my text notification tone stops. Everything else like ringtone etc is fine. This is a dealbreaker for me almost. This worked fine on Ginerbread.
2 - new Swype software gives me problems when the word suggestion feature stops working completely. Swype is hard to do without word suggestions at times. Only solution i've found is again, reboot the phone. This sucks. I know, don't use swype, but i WANT to use it. It worked perfectly on Gingerbread.
3 - the widget for Google Voice is super tiny now, and i don't see a way of making it bigger. It's approximately the size of 4 icons, whereas before on Gingerbread it was huge and you could easily read/see your voicemails. Maybe i'm missing something on how to change the widget size, but i see no way of doing it.
4 - my News and Weather widget, which i used for weather and news all the time, since my original Galaxy S, does not display any weather information anymore. Just says "No Weather Information". this worked fine on Gingerbread. I guess different phone OS makes widgets work differently. I just want mine to work as expected. News still comes through fine though.
5 - Unlocking the screen seems more difficult now, usually takes me a couple tries, whereas it seemed really smooth and awesome before the update
6 - Power Saving widget is huge now, takes up half of one screen, whereas before it was just 1 row and you could scroll across. Why make it bigger and take up more room with no additional functionality?
After listing all this out, i'm trying to think of the things i LIKE about ICS update, and i can only think of one, which is the data monitoring/limiting which is kind of a cool feature. I doesn't seem any faster really than before. So overall, i honestly was happier with Gingerbread. 6 things that i find that suck versus one thing i like.
Maybe this is me being picky, but as excited as I was to get ICS, i'm equally disappointed in the upgrade. My wife uses a Galaxy Note and it is available for her phone now, and I told her don't bother with the upgrade.
Anyone have any advice??? experience the same problems? I know i could root, install a custom rom etc, but i really like the touchwiz stuff from samsung and i was really happy with just the stock gingerbread OS, even with all the bloatware, i just disregard all that junk.
I'm having the same problem with text notification I just notice that I get a text it would sound but just about an hour ago it just stopped I would get a text and nothing ringtones works and everyrhing but I think is a ics bug maybe it would get fixed in the new update 4.0.4

at&t sucks. bottom line.
Advice, if you want to stick with touchjizz, run a custom one, there are plenty that *should* have those issues taken care of.
But the widget size issue, thats just looks, with a different launcher can change size of widgets.
Lol I called this one. A bunch of people upgrade to stock ICS. Then they complain and want to switch back, mess it up, and start new threads. Hopefully they all learned their lesson about carrier upgrades . I mean even I tried it, just to see what it looked like and how it functioned. Then again I knew how to get back to a custom Rom Before I did it. It's actually not too bad, but there were just too many bugs and battery life was too bad for my taste.

It isn't 100% on all phones it seems to be random but instead of posting something VERY VERY risky for people not so inclined to troll the forums and find out about the risks of certain actions why not shut up or post what you think will work then link them to a topic showing what bad could happen. You just seem like you want people to brick and make more topics about how they tried to reset and bricked. You also need to think of Google searches that link to this topic and they read it and see you said reset and they do it. It isn't just xda its anyone with the internet don't lead people to a possible brick

The only way to go "back" to Gingerbread is to flash UCKH7 straight stock or one of the Gingerbread stock plus root packages in Entropy512's thread. So yes, use that, or one of my guides.
Seriously, this home button issue is driving me crazy. Is it really quite an isolated occurrence? And where is all the info on it?
I'm talking about the home button not working on JB roms. Well so far i've tried CM10 and PA. Apparently FJ made his 2.3.1 alt kernel to fix this issue. But unless i'm crazy, searching finds me almost zero info on this issue, other than 1 or 2 posts indicating his alt kernel fixes the issue. i found 1 post indicating that this is an isolated (potentially hardware) issue.
Am I missing threads? Am I one out of 1000's that have this issue?
Please, if I could be pointed to information about this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Ever since jb the home button is fully unresponsive... though occasionally working with a cold phone... unless using fj kernel

2.3.1 Alt by FJ - can be found at goo.im - just do a search for flappjaxxx under devs and drill down until you hit kernel and you will find what you seek.
I have the kernel, is just I can't find much info about it.
now things are getting worse. I'm on paranoid android now, with the alt kernel. all buttons work, except the rom couldn't be worse. super laggy, loads of random reboots, freezes very often. been on this rom for about a week. have those of you with the home button issue experienced other issues like mine?? what am I supposed to do? is there any jb rom that those of you with home button functionality issues have tried that work fine? or do I need to go back to ics? and yes, I've been flashing everything properly and my phone had always run well prior to jb

Is there a way to have them show up just like they do on the Galaxy Nexus?
I had the same issues with the home button on a couple of the roms. What solved it for me was Padawan 4.
Wiped to factory and flashed Padawan, then flashed gapps right after while still in cwm.
Booted it up first, then flash blaze modem after the initial boot up.
Hope this helps

Update! A reflash to milestone 1 without the king kanger kernel did the trick. :-/
Update: Nope. Nevermind. False alarm. Broken. Back to using the navigation bar.
I had this on random occasions and have noticed the lock screen sound when home button malfunctions. I happened to be able to resolve the issue by turning on and off screen lock.
So I realized WiFi is causing my Screen of Death issue on EVERY KitKat ROM, and only KitKat ROM's. So what is my next step? Does anyone have a fix on this or anything? It'll either Screen of Death my phone or my data won't work until I turn off WiFi and then I can't turn it back on. Any help would be appreciated guys. I'm desperate now. 15 battery pulls a day are just ridiculous.
Why did you make a new thread? :what:

Well OP isn't very active, so I thought I'd get a logcat. I was connected to WiFi until I noticed it wasn't receiving any data (but still showed connected to WiFi). I turned the screen off and then it would not come back on anymore, but the phone was still responsive. I could turn torch on and off and even took a screenshot, but the screen still refused to come on. I'm guessing that whatever is happening, usually does so while the screen is off, and that's why I get a BSOD.
I'd like to add I've tried a bunch of different modems, clean flashed CM11, even restored no apps...yet the problem persists.
I've attached it to this post, if anyone has time to check it out I would be very grateful.

So I screenshot my drawer but don't have access to a computer till tomorrow. So I'll send em over. But yeah I just made a new thread because I wasnt getting any answers on the other when I discovered that WiFi was the issue.
I'm just so frustrated with my phone because I can not figure out a fix. At first I installed a clean kitkat ROM with full wipe, and didn't restore apps to see if it was an app but it still did it. Then I even completely unrooted my phone and rerooted, still did it.

That's alright, if it also did it for you without restoring any apps, its gotta be something else. But what... I have no idea.
It seems that WiFi is crashing while the screen is off and that is resulting in a BSOD. Why the hell is it crashing though... :banghead:

Yeah. I'll notice my WiFi is no longer sending data so I'll turn it off then it won't turn on. Or I'll try to turn it off and it won't then I know that if I lock my screen it won't turn on without a battery pull.
I'm not sure where to go from here if nobody can decipher that logcat.
All I can think of is to back up my SD card and completely format the phone.. then see if it persists.

It controls the cells hardware that communicates with the actual cell towers.
