Auto root - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Is it really that much to ask to get an auto root? Seems that only this gnote2 on verizon we cant get an auto root/unlock. Whats the big deal??? Manual or auto??

If you didn't take the other yet there is an app that roots your phone. Can't get more auto then that.

there was an OTA a couple of days ago that changed the bootloader. Old method won't work on it.

Look for the exynosabuse apk (or exyno abuse). The first thread in the development section of the verizon note ii forum. It's just root though. You won't be unlocked. Also, if you got the update verizon pushed in the last few days then forget about this all together for now.

[Q] Forcing app onto phone without root?

Im needing to force an app onto this phone without rooting it is there anyway to do it at all?

What do you mean forcing it onto the phone?
Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
It wont install on there at all and I found ways of forcing apps onto a phone through /system/apps but you have to be rooted to do it and its not my phone I'm needing to do this on so cant root it
It depends on the app

Maybe not, but there's a chance. He'll have to manually install it as a system app though...
Even if he doesn't get it to work, he can always just extract the wallpapers from the apk.

Question about unlocking bootloader with causal

I have question about using casual to root and unlock bootloader. After a few trys I was able to root but no success in unlocking bootloader. Ive followed the instructions and watched the YouTube video and nothing. My question is did I get bad download or did Verizon pull another fast one? Or is it simply triail and error.

If you find this hard to unlock, thank god you didn't own a thunderbolt that took near a half hour entering command line prmpts to unlock. Or the rezound that you had to short circuit with a wire in a precise time to unlock.
This phone was cake in comparison.

Has anyone tried motochopper? At first glance, I don't see why it wouldn't work. This build is stunningly similar to the At&t Galaxy S 4 and we've successfully rooted those with motochopper.

The business part is not a script, but a binary. You will need a hex editor. I tried but there are a lot of numbers in there that apparently specify the exact version the exploit will work on and it was too complicated.

Ya I tried that days ago the method just keeps giving you permission denied,I've tried every method available even the clockwork and root methods for the 19152 and motochopper, plus almost everything found on internet.I think its just the device isn't as popular than most galaxy lines.I understand the locked bootloader situation, but I know the note 3 will probably be in the same boat.I think the note 3 will be rooted before the1527,its just going to be more popular with more dev support and devs working on the note 3
Do you guys think they will stay with the 5.5 inch screen with the note 3?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I527 using xda app-developers app
The note 3 supposed to be coming with a 5.68.to 5.7 inch screen which in my eyes is a big dissapointment.I was hoping for at least 6 inch screen size or 6.3 like the mega.It would be nice if they came out with the same situation as the mega one phone at 5.8 another at 6.3 inch screen.I heard they finally ditched the 16 gb internal memory to stock 32gb internal. Ill probally still going to buy it anyways, still undecided what to do with this mega, keep it or return it,love the phone hate having no root,I got 5 days left before my 14 days are up
Im in the same boat I'll hold on to the mega till they announce the note 3 then I'll make my call. I have a little more than a week left on my return.
