I've searched the entire forum for a stable version of cm10 for I 9300 but have been unsuccessful, I don't get it. Why isn't there a stable version for the international version. On the download site, even the cm10 nighties aren't there. Why so?

That's because TeamHacksung jumped straight from the CM10 nightlies to the 10.1 ones, with no stable release in between.
The term 'stable release' isn't much of a differentiator though - all it means is that the code is a bit older than the nightly release stuff.
a big [Q] in you topic and still in general thread
Yes Both CM10 and 10.1 is stable of course if u don't use HDMI

Just letting you know there's an edit button and questions go in Questions & Answer section.
To answer your other question, I don't think the CM team considers CM "stable" on the International GS3 because of the Exynos related issues they can't fix due to lack of / poor documentation. A lot of developer frustration over this. The American versions of the S3 (T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T) all use Snapdragon since Exynos didn't support LTE at time of launch last year.

So what is the deal with MIUI on Samsung Galaxy S2?
Is there a proper version or still just a version some Hungarians have hacked for the S2?
If so, where is it and how do I get it on?
Also - is there any chance of just getting the lock screens on my S2?
Thanks.
If it can be phrased as a question, it belongs in Q&A
nothing to do with development...

MIUI will be officially supported in few weeks as MIUI china have said they will support SGS2. They were waiting for CM 7.1 to be released as stable. Current Iterations of MIUI are Galnet, Gangsterjoop and NDT also there is a myfluxi build.
Also this should have been in Q&A.
Mod please move to Q&A Many Thanks
Hi guys, i'm using KI8 stock with siyah 1.8 right now, and it looks like one of the best configuration for galaxy S2.
Anyway, i'm very interested about trying the famous cyanogenmod 7.1 stable, and i just want to have some judgement about it...it's faster and more battery safe than a stock? it's the best?
[NIGHTLY][ROM][GWK74] CyanogenMod 7 (w/ Gingerbread 2.3.7) for Galaxy SII Q&A contains 6,602 posts relating to CyanogenMod, or since you mention 7.1 "stable" (it was later changed to RC1), [ROM] CyanogenMod 7 for the Samsung Galaxy S II :: V7.1.0 RC1 (9 Oct 2011).
There is no stable release. There is a lot of issues and you should really wait and go with MIUI or one of the modded samsung roms for now

Wrong. There is a stable release, and you can download it from the link posted above. Also, it's not full of bugs, but if you're going to try it, I suggest you go for the latest nightly; it should have more fixes than the stable build. However, it's an experimental build, so be prepared for weird things. I'm using it since a long time, and it's really stable on my phone.
Also, learn to f***ing post in the right thread

Which is based on CM7 and therefore would contain most if not all of the same "issues".
in the cyanogenmod official page the rom it's called "stable"...and anyway i think MIUI has more issues than CGM...
Hi, I'm a noob so appologies if this has already been answered...
Q: Is AOKP not supports on a Galaxy S2? The official web site does not seem to support the device. Does this mean the the devs specifically mod the ROM to support AOKP?
Thanks in advance oh guru.

1. Questions typically should go in Q&A, not General...
2. I don't think you really understand what AOKP is.
3. There are a bunch of AOKP based ROMs in both the Android Development and Original Android Development sections.

1. Apologies, noob.
2. This may be the case but you certainly haven't answered my question.
I'll try again.
I have Resurrection ROM which is AOKP. On going to the AOKP site, the Galaxy S2 is not listed as a supported device. So, I'm asuming, because it's not listed, that it's not supported by the AOKP team. Install at your own risk??
Am I correct in saying that any issues that may arise are up to the ROM dev team to resolve and wont be looked at by the AOKP team.

"Install at your own risk" is pretty much true for any ROM.
Edit to add: sorry, I forgot to say: though I'm not on the AOKP team, so my answer isn't a definite one, but I'd imagine it would be up to the particular ROM dev, yes.
Hi,
For having tried many, AOKP works great on S2.
I've change for having stock FM radio working, but if you don't need that, there are great.
Enjoy
Instead of actually creating a new thread; does anyone know of a "stock" AOKP for the S2?
I want to try one that hasn't been tampered with.
Oh, the irony.
Is anyone running the newest version of LiquidSmooth for i9300? There isnt an official thread for this ROM anymore. I have posted on their facebook page but I havent had any success at getting a reply. I downloaded the new version of the ROM and cannot get it to flash properly. I have been running RC1 for a while now and that is 4.2.2 so I guess it cant be an issues between 4.2.2 and Siyah Kernel. Does anyone have any ideas or solid help for me and any other potential users of this ROM. Thankyou anyone who can help
Try Google for an alternative location for that rom .
The roms thread is active today in development so no idea what you are saying .
The dev is not updating his page he may no longer wish to post on XDA is one possible reason .

I have searched other variants of the Galaxy s3 as well as people with this version and they seem to have it working but none of them are helping me get it working, it could maybe be a kernel issue but on the official website for the rom there is nothing about kernels that do or dont work.
Could you please copy the link to the page as i have looked in both Original and normal and cant see one for v2.1 only the older closed threads for 4.1.2 Thanks
I'm also looking for this, can only ever find RC 1.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
It's pretty easy to find.

RC2 and Stable have new GPU drivers.
Siyah Kernel has NOT been updated to support this.
DON"T use Siyah.

The latest OFFICIAL liquidsmooth release for hte i9300 is totally broken and the stable version link has been removed.
Siyah has now updated his kernel for cm10.1 and works wonderfully.

I'm running JB-v2.1-Stable (4.2.2). Works great, however you need the latest Siyah kernel 1.9.1 (available from his website/blog) (if you want to use Siyah). However this kernel will no longer work for JB 4.1 versions of roms. Need Siyah 1.8.9 for anything before JB 4.2 (bit of a catch 22).

Hi, what roms can I flash to my 8160P (NFC version of galaxy ace 2)
I saw some new custom roms in the development forum (Miui, CM10...), but I don't know if this roms are available for the NFC version (of course I supose that I will loose NFC funcionality)
Thanks!
I'm running CM10 on my Ace 2 without problems. Just use this thread. It should work on all ROMs (but I didn't tested it yet on MIUI, PAC etc; but since they are all based on CM it should work on them as well)
And BTW next time post your question in Q&A section.
