Just restore backup if you've a custom kernel! (don't tell you don't have even 1 Nandroid)
And if not, don't worry, flash stock ftf using flashtool!

Hi dude!!! I got the same error while installing my current rom.it stucked on the sony logo.(Ultimate HD) first i thought it was a problem of kernel.so i flashed a compatible custom kernel.then installed it again(after wiping all data)...(followed the guide well)again the same error!!! then i installed it again without wiping data using the CWM recovery which came built-in for my kernel....after that it worked!!

Xperia neo Battery saving (comm ticks)
As you all know that most of the android phones one major problem is the Battery drain ( Fast discharging)
So i will tell tricks to save your battery (some might be knowing)
1) Screen time out (display) is the main thing which eats you battery....so keep it to 30 seconds from setting >display>sleep\screen time out
2)Brightness keep low.
3) normal charge you phone full in single time(that is charge for 10mins then unplugged and again charge) and charge at night .so you can use the whole day .
For Rooted Devices
1) use the stock kernel.
2)use app NOfills and adjust the processor CPU DAt your own Risk)

CWM Permanent Recovery Install HELP!?

I searched, but couldnt find a proper tut to flash CWM Recovery for UNLOCKED Bootloader.
The One i flashed before (BL Locked Method) is Non permanent, as it is deleted when i format /system.
I want to know how to flash CWM recovery With UNLOCKED Bootloader, a more permanent one.
Please help, im a noob to all this as my other phone, LG Optimus Black has no Hassle as BL is unlocked.
I have a Xperia Neo, rooted, and Unlocked Bootloader.

Anyway here are the links: suave forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1708532

There are plenty more but you have to search those in the development section... By the way you are on ics right?

Did it! Flashed suave kernel, which seems to be good.
But im having an issue. im sure i selected the NEO V Suave Kernel for my phone and flashed it,
But on booting into recovery i find it says
CWM Based Recovery v5.0.2.7 FULL (by DooMLoRD)
Xperia Arc [v03] {ICS}
Whereas my phone is a NEO V.
Also, if i use The app Quick Boot to reboot recovery, it just boots normally.
To boot into recovery i have to power off, and power on, continually pressing VOL Down.
Thanks for help!

Ok. So download this rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2204050 and extract the boot.img of the zip and put it in the fastboot folder. Then open fastboot, plug your device in fastboot mode.
tipe : fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then : fastboot reboot
