Anyone else having a problem with google now FC after the market update? Whenever I try to use it to identify a song it finds it and just as it begins to tell me or show it, it FC on me. Any help appreciated. Yes I'm on the JB OTA Leak. It did this before and after I was rooted.
Have you cleared the cache for Google?
Sent from my Kindle Fire running CM10
after doing that i can successfully identify one song and then i'm back to the FC on subsequent ones.

so i opened the market around 4:00pm today...ooohh! its all been updated and everything..about a minute later it force closes..and now, the market simply WILL NOT WORK..it force closes the second i open it..takes about 5 seconds..I have cleared the cache, data, etc from the app manager...force stopped it and restarted..rebooted handset, battery pulled, everything I know to do..has anyone else experienced this, or preferrably, know how to fix it??? I'm running Gingerbread on a rooted HTC HD2 by the way..can I keep the market update and fix the force closing? Thanks in advance for any help!!
Google Play randomly locks up my SGS2 running CyanogenMod 7:
Nothing else gives this problem on my phone, and my phone also had this same problem with the old Google Market App. Is there anyone else having the same problem as me, and more importantly does anyone know a fix
you could try clearing the cache, settings-->applications-->manage applications-->select google play and clear cache.
it is a known issue with cwm 7.1 and s2. have a read to the official cwm forum... workaround use appbrain. the issue occurs when you scroll in the market/play app
OK Guys thanks for the pointers.
I'm getting Google PLay FCs all the time!
I don't why my google play is giving continous force closures.removing cache or unistalling update is not working.
No answer here but at least you'll know you are not alone.

Hi,
I installed HyDrOG3N today(not todays build, the one from 31.3),
And then of course I installed Google Music app from the market.
when trying to make my playlist available offline,
I got an connection error.
I tried reboot, clear the app's data.
nothing helped.
I remember there should be a notification that request authorizations,
but I haven't got one.
Any help would be appreciated.
Problem solved
apparently, I had the over 10 devices authorized problem.

Here a simple guide how to solve it.
Ever since the OTA ICS update Google music is giving me a message "Unfortunately, Google Play Music has stopped". I can see the ablums but I get this message a few seconds after I open. I have cleared the cache and data. I have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling with the same problem. The new update today does the same thing.
Razr Maxx, rooted, stock rom

To start off, I have searched for a solution to this problem on here, and I have found nothing about it. I apologize if this thread exists (I have searched for it) and if it does, then please point me in the right direction. Thanks. As for the problem, every time I try to open the Google Play store it closes right way. This did not happen before receiving the Jelly bean update. I was wondering if any of you have encountered a similar problem. If so, have you found a way to fix it? Additional information: Stock jelly bean, unrooted

Unfortunately, I have tried that and it did not work. Basically it at least pulled up the play store page for a second then immediately crashed, instead of crashing right away. Still crashed though

Had Google play crashes myself after my navigation/maps was crashing too...now that its a known fact about navigation having issues I've just waited patiently for that particular fix....I seemed to have gotten lucky and don't have Google play crashing for last 2 days by:
A. Not using navigation til fix os found
B. Wiping 3x and reinstalling stock rooted chubbz jellybean rom.
Don't know if it has direct corrolation to navigation issue buts at least kept Google play from crashing for me since. Hope that helps.
