Is this for using the AiO root tool?
If so, the mtp driver is in the .7z package for download. You have to go into devices in Windows and manually apply that driver to the Sony Tablet S device. Ignore the warning that is is not signed.
i followed this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1327139
its very important that the do the .android/adb_usb.ini step AFTER installing/upgrading TOGETHER with Android SDK's extras\google\usb_driver\android_winusb.inf
For the Sony Tablet S driver u can point the driver to have disk to Android SDK's extras\google\usb_driver\android_winusb.inf and it will work too...
Hi,
I found this AIO Auto Installer
Also you must Read the Info file incase you run into problems....

What operating system are you using? Do you have the Vibrant drivers installed?? Also, with this ROM you need the Nexus S drivers installed since the code is based off the Nexus S.
I found out your problem, you probably have the wrong drivers installed, you need the drivers from the Android SDK. You can install them under the "extras" section. Here's some more detailed instructions I wrote up:
Download the Android SDK: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Under Extras install "Google USB Driver Package"
then browse to the folder the Android SDK installed to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver
Open device manager, browse for drivers and paste that location

If you can't adb and you have the android sdk installed and path set into your environment than it is just a driver issue.
First download usbdriver http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1354487 and extract to download
Open up device manager, you should see Other devices and under it should show Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet with exclamation mark if cable is connected.
Right click on it, select update driver> browse my computer for driver software>let me pick from a list of device driver on my computer>show all devices>have disk> browse to the download folder that has the inf extension file in it>android composite adb interface>next>yes>installing driver software>Windows has successfully update your driver software> close.
In your device manager should Android Phone and under it should say Android Composite ADB Interface.
Android debugging should be check mark
open up cmd prompt and type adb shell.
Now if it does not work then uninstall the driver and selecting delete the driver and also delete usb storage then redo above step.
I have tried this on four computers, none of them recognize the drivers. It says that no drivers can be found for my device.
So ADB over USB works on the CM9 rom now. Any advice for flashing the recovery img using ADB?
Make sure no other USB devices is attached to the computer that you are working on, USB mouse and keyboard should be ok.
Rename folders that you have placed the nook drivers in the past. You will know because it will list the folder paths that you used in the pass.
Make sure you follow the instruction verbatim. Manually uninstall the device and also it will ask you if you want to delete the driver, say ok. Manually install by instruction and do not let it just pick it. Use a different USB port

how is adb not working for you? are you unable to get the drivers for the NT installed?
If so, you will need to modify the android_winusb.inf file with the hardware id's found in device manager under the properties of the Nook under Other Devices.
It worked! Thank you! I'm one step closer to playing Dead Trigger! For those of you having problems, try restarting both your nook tablet as well as your actual computer. Back around this time last year when I was installing the NT drivers for the first time, I had a similar problem to what I had today. After I restarted my computer everything worked. Not that it matters, but I did this with the CM10 1.2GHz rom.
Which section of the android_winusb.inf file do I need to modify? I search for nook, tablet, and barnes in the file and came up with no results. Can you post yours so that I can compare the two?
Thanks for the help!
Did 5-touch work for you yet?

I didn't ask if you were able to get 5-touch rom cm10 to work or are you still on cm 9? If you are on cm9 , why not try [ROM] SGT7+CM10+Cherry Picks,By meghd00t. New 04/11 5 Touched. It will work either with or without 5-touch implemented. If you decide to install this and you might as well download a free "mulitouch tester" and test if the 5-touch was installed and lucked out. Use the "Thanks" button on the left in the forums.:fingers-crossed:

ADB over USB isn't working on CM10 on my end, either. It's working on both my Doubleshot and my Vision, and I even updated ADB.
Running Ubuntu Precise.
What's the problem?

I currently using this rom
Device manager windows should say Android composite interface
Slide down menu from your nook should indicate "Android debugging enabled"
Went into cmd as Adminstrator and type adb shell
got in with no problems
android_winusb.inf setting for NT CM10
I had problem trying to get ADB working over USB until I stumbled across this post over in the Nook Color General forum.
I followed the procedure outlined in the post and put in the following entry for my NT:
Code:
;Nook Tablet
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18D1&PID_6860&MI_01
and the ADB USB interface finally works for me.
The CM10 build I am using is Succulent's "cm-10-20121225-acclaim-HD.zip (GCC 4.6)".

Respected Sir, as you know Videocon A15 is a cheapest price Indian mobile and the little RAM makes trouble for me. So I want to root my phone to use it in a better way, but I have tired by finding usb driver for videocon a15. But I can't find any usb driver. So I want to know how do I install usb driver for this handset?
Sent from my Micromax A27 using xda app-developers app
Try this things
Have you enabled USB - Debugging? (Menu > Setting > Application > Development > USB debugging > Turn it ON).
Probably afterwards you can install a driver.
For rooting use the Eroot application
xperiahtcrootingrom.com/how-to-root-videocon-a15-with-eroot-software/
Here is the app.
mediafire.com/download/62wi36ph36563oj/Eroot-v-1.3.5.zip
For rooting you don’t need pc just use framaroot look into this thread(given below) and download any one ver of framaroot .apk:

Please follow this simple steps on your win 7 pc to connect your videocon a15 device successfully
STEP 1: Copying the ZIP package
1. Copy the ZIP package to the your pc (LINK GIVEN BELOW)
2. Extract the zip package to an easy place to find
location such as the desktop
STEP 2: Verifying the unidentified
Android device
1. Open the Start Menu and click run
2. Type "devmgmt.msc" to open Device
Manager
3. Look for the unidentified Android device
(usually indicated by a yellow exclamation
mark)
STEP 3: Install/Update USB driver
1. Right-click the device and select "Update
Driver..."
2. Select "Browse my computer for driver
software"
3. Select "Let me pick from a list of device
drivers..."
4. Search for "Android Composite ADB
Interface"

That's it!
The phone should now appear in Device Manager

One more question Sir, can you tell me a software which can Install any mobile usb driver?
As there are no similar usb drivers for all phones you have to install specific driver for specific phones only...! And yet i have not found any software for pc to install usb drivers for smartphones
So i have already given you the google driver package which will work on most devices (Given above)
If the above steps don’t work then you can try this,
download and install it on your pc
