yep its a known bug, you should minimize it using the home button and turn off wifi first then close the app, it will do the trick
another method is to long press the notification that wifikill is running>app info> force stop
+ the thanks button is for a reason
AW: Wifi kill causes Reboot
Hope they work on an bugfix for the app.
I still like it to kill the connection invisible from ma wife.

So last night I was just playing around with my phone and just changing some icons for my launch pro and after that I downloaded an app called cache mate for root users. When I decided to go to sleep I held the power button down to shut down the phone entirely and it just reboots my phone EVERY TIME. I don't know whats the problem can someone please help?

It happens to me once in a while but I don't know what causes it. But it shuts down in the second time always. I'm not too bothered with it...

But mine isn't usual like that and it might be something I cleared without knowing?

I got the same problem on my X8, this is weird i can't turn off my phone it instantly reboots...
i think, you had installed reboot option in the power button menu (modified jar files & framework apk), & then you pushed again original framework apk. therefore ur getting this....
may be this is your problem....i'm just gussing....
Tesla works ok.. Except when the screen turns off
When it does, the LED flashes, and then after a few seconds the phone crashes and I have to hold the power button to get it to power back on

Yeah same issue here, I just set the option in TeslaLED to always keep the screen on.
Hi, I'm the dev of TeslaLED. I don't have a Galaxy S2 yet. Can some of you guys test this beta:

Once installed if Auto isn't working well can you try manually setting the different LED Methods and seeing if any of them work well?
Thanks,

i had recently installed the CM7 alpha on my touchpad. everything worked great until i accidentally killed some processes using task killer app.
Now the touch doesn't work and i cant restart my touchpad. Do i have to wait until the battery drains or is there any other way to restart it.
ANS: Hard reboot works by holding power and home screen button
I would have just posted this in the AOKP thread but I can't unfortunately.
I was wondering if there is any way to access the task manager without having a home button (or any on-screen buttons). The reason I ask is that I was uninstalling some apps through the market today when I looked away for a second, and when I looked back the task manager was open and I have no idea how it happened.
With the on screen buttons yes, but I believe that its just a bug. My task manager likes to open up randomly.

I wonder if that's related to the screen-turnon bug.

I did notice this with the on screen buttons on the pacifier ROM. If you leave the screen on with the home screen up and no power source connected, the ICS task manager will appear at the same interval that the screen would power on at. Since switching to the Spike Pure ICS build, the task manager doesn't appear as often but the screen still powers on at the same intervals as before.

Anybody try freezing the task manager with Titanium Backup to see if the screen powers on?
I have v1MAR2012 R1 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1522844 my screen doesn't auto turn on, it's at 98% battery after almost 2hrs with little usage.
The only thing i've noticed is that GPS is a bit slower than with ICS'd Out V9, i really wish we could fix the home button and enable the other two so i could disable the soft buttons that take up space.
when I install cm10 beta2 by invendor than the problem started. apps minimizing automatically and always get back me in homescreen. I thought this is a bug of this rom but I was wrong.
then I install other romscthats works perfectly before and I also restore the stock rom. but I still facing the problem.
tell me if it is a hardware problem
one thing I note that, if I hold the minimize button(but don't release ) than it work like before. after release the button it minimized apps automatically.
I lock the home screen by pressing power key. after thay my phone wake ups automatically.
