Hiiiiiiiii thr
Some one can tell me how to expand volume
First, wrong section. Second, wrong title. Third the description is not very understandable and its too small. Fourth the grammar gave me cancer. Fifth but not the last, keep on like that, you will achieve something.
Lets get back to the topic, the volume can be increased but its dangerous for the speaker. If you want that, install ACID Sound Engine even though I think its not very stable. Root your phone and search for some application on the Play store, I am sure you will find something

I use DSPManager to boost my speaker volume by sliding all the equalizer bars all the way up, and it gives a noticable boost in speaker volume.
My question is, is it safe? Will it blow out the speaker because of the increased volumes?
One of the biggest shortcomings of the X10 is the not so loud speaker, this fixes it, but not sure if it's safe.
Thanks for any help.
can't find it on the market, could you post the link here or pm me to it so i could try it out?
The DSP Manager is a fair safe software. Wolf even included it in some flavors of his amazing ROM and nobody complains about losing the speaker (none that I know of).
I use the DSP Manager whenever I want with no trouble at all.
On the other hand I do think you're right about avoiding excesses. The wisdom teach us to keep the balance and don't misuse equalizers and LED flashes.
In my opinion, the best way to listening music in the X10 is still the earphone.

Watch out it can bite in your hand.

Thanks, but I was thinking more along the lines of the increased volume will be used for the ringer, when the phone rings, because it's really soft right now and I can't hear it from the other side of my house. DSPManager fixes that. I do use headphones for my music. I'm just worried that too much ringing might damage the speaker because of the increased volume that comes thanks to DSPManager.
Hello guys, I'm new here and very new to the android platform. I got rid of my iphone for the amaze but the first thing i noticed was how quiet the music players volume is. I like to listen to my music really loud. Is there anyway to increase the volume. i've tried an app volume + but that didn't really do much. Any help would be appreciated.

I recommend going to the MARKET and downloading an app called POWERAMP. You can download the free trial that last about 2 weeks before it expires (you can uninstall the app and reinstall it every time to refresh the trial) or you can help out the devs and buy the pro version for about $5.99. Poweramp has a bunch of different settings for sound gaining, treble, bass, preamp etc. I definitely recommend it!

Thanks for the reply but i tried that app. That app just has a bunch of different EQ setting's to make the music sound louder but it also makes the music sound bad. I use playerpro which has the same settings with the dsp pack. Any way to increase the main sound? Like directly from the audio server.

How do I turn down/off the ridiculously loud Google Now voice search bleeps and bloops? I'd rather just have it vibrate or, you know, not alert everybody on the block that I'm trying to use voice search. Is there a way to do this? (No, I'm not turning down the phone volume, these sounds are disproportionately loud to everything else on the phone/planet)
thanks
I second this question. it is really loud no matter what the phone settings.
Reviving this thread, is no one else bothered by this??
Interesting. I have the complete opposite effect. All Google apps are super quiet. Google voice; can not hear in ear but speaker barely. Google now; can not hear very low volume. Volumes are all the way up: ringtone, media, and alarms yet those two Google apps are super quiet.

I think that it is very loud. Not uncomfortably loud, but I don't like the fact that I cannot control the volume level. It doesn't correspond with the volumes set by the phone.

Yes, very loud. I use a wired headset and that voice blows my head off as it announces the connection. I wish there was a way to control it. An app??
Hey People.
How can i increase the volume of the speaker? Safely and without distortion, by Editing and not with apps running on the phone all the time.
It's like these, i'm using Gingersony v06 ( yes i got back to Gingersony after 3 days of being on the Original Stock Eclair, that Blue color on all the Stock Eclair is very annoying :S ), and people tell me that they can't hear me clearly when we are in a Call, and i don't hear people as well ( at least not loud enough ).
So that's why i wanted to increase the volume in order to hear loud and for the others to hear me loud 2.
Good answers will always get a Thanks press button
Ps: just an add, if someone knows how to get better audio quality as well ( because when hearing music, i can hardly hear clear the vocals ) then please tell me
Hey!

I don't see the download anywhere in that thread, and it says it's for Mini, mine is Mini Pro, will it work?
But by the name 'Beats', i guess that must be the Xloud+Beats thing.
I used that thing some time ago but in that time i didn't see any change in the sound at all, but maybe i had a wrong version of it, because some players didn't work with that installed.
You know where i can get the fully working version?
Ps: that beats mod, did it change your sound quality at the point that you can hear the vocals clearly when playing music?, because it's a bit annoying to hear great/loud Instruments and then the voice looks like it's far away from the song :S xD

Try DSP-Manager with eq 'vocal boost' preset enabled, or play around with the viper4android APP (the best sound quality/loudness enhancer APP in my opinion ).

Dsp Manager i personally don't like it because for me it's the same thing as an Normal equalizer, i tried all presets and effects but there's always something wrong, if using effects for more vocals then the sound will loose Power 'instruments will sound with much less power, not very good to hear' to obtain that, about the viper4android i don't know if it's good 'i only used it once in your rom but with a bug of stoping/starting music so i quit' but maybe i'll make another try, sincerely i don't think there's a solution for the vocal problem on the songs without changing the sound itself or having Less Power
Hi,
I've been searching for something similar to what I have been looking for but couldn't find it so just thought maybe this site would help me.
I have been using the music app PowerAmp to play my music and one thing I like about it is the equalizer, now one thing I noticed is that it is a little difficult to find any equalizers that work on the same level as it AND can be used as a system equalizer since PowerAmp only works for PowerAmp and nothing else like Pandora, Youtube, etc...
My question is are there any apps that use the same equalizer as PowerAmp AND are compatible with other third party apps, or is there a way to make PowerAmp my system equalizer (being able to use it with any other app)?
P.S: I am already rooted and am using the HTC One M8 and PowerAmp just makes the speakers sound much better imo (BoomSound is already good don't get me wrong).
P.S.S: Already tried using Viper4Android, a bunch of equalizer apps from the Play Store and a DSP Manager app so any help would be appreciated.
P.S.S.S: If you need the equalizer setting I use for PowerAmp for my HTC One M8's speaker then I'll be happy to post a screenshot if I can.
I honestly would recommend Viper4android, it works for me on those apps, for example spotify. Perhaps you're doing something wrong?

I usually hear that it is the best and don't get me wrong, Viper4Android has its perks, it's just that Poweramp makes my HTC One M8's speakers sound....deeper? Don't know if that's the word for it, what I'm saying is that Poweramp gives a better bass response and it seems I can't get it to work like that with Viper4Android.
Like I said before, I'll be happy to show you the settings I have for Poweramp's equalizer and see if someone who is good at Viper4Android can replicate it. Since I am using the One M8 though then I think it should be used for the One M8 only, but people may hear a difference with other phones too so they can give it a try to see if they hear what I am talking about.
I am a noob at Viper4Android so maybe I just don't know how to tweak it as good as others.
