Hi guys!
I'm looking for HTC_IME keyboard for my X10 mini. T9 dictionary drive me crazy. It is possible to use HTC_IME on QVGA, we can see it on Wildfire or Tattoo. Anybody heard about apk file with QVGA keyboard? Every thread on XDA with HTC_IME has only two versions - high-res for WVGA/FWVGA and low-res for HVGA resolution.
It will be great to hear about HTC_IME for our X10 mini
PS: YES, I MAY BOUGHT X10 MINI PRO, but i choose X10 mini. Solution "buy x10 mini pro" is not answer.
Have a nice day
I use smart keyboard pro, it has an HTC skin available. Might be what you're after.

Quite good, but i think that the HTC_IME is the best, Smart Keyboard Lite don't have dictionary but payed version is not avaible in my country in market...
I've also been scouting for this but to no avail, I even downloaded a wildfire rom and extracted the kb out of it and tried to installed that but it didn't work. I have got smart keyboard on my mini but I must say it's even worse to use than the default t9 one as the screen is too small. Weather the htc one would be any better is doubtful.

Do you mean the one listed here:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5475283
Yes, i'm looking for this keyboard but in super-low resolution (320x240).
Version HVGA (480x320) is half-cuted, it's not possible to use it...
Wildfire and Tattoo has the same resolution, so it is possible to cut from one of this and assamble to use on X10 mini (& mini pro)

Ok, we are in half way to great keyboard
Anyone know how to copy other language dictionary from HTC_IME HVGA/WVGA to HTC_IME QVGA?
Then i had the hero there was a fil that was on the sd card that had the lang. But dont know if it works here too
Edit. i tried the fil on sd and do not work, i think we need a htc ime mod for qvga :-(

HTC IME
To have a different language try this:
change your language in locale setting to english(or another different from yours),reboot device, back to your language,reboot..for me is ok.
Easily the best keyboard out there, especially because of the physical keyboard correction.
Any progress in this matter?
Yeah I'd like that too! P.s must say this app is amazing!
Sent from my E10i using XDA App
Agree, this is a fantastic keyboard!
EDIT.. (no point in making a new post)
I can't get the physical keyboard correction to work.. I've turned on all the QWERTY prediction/spell check options and nothing happens when using the physical keyboard.
is there something obvious i'm not doing?
SECONDARY EDIT
I've found out what the problem is.. basically there is not hardware keyboard correction/spell check if the cursor is in the text box by default. It *does* work if you manually select it.
...Hope this helps someone :s
It's ported from the tattoo or from the wildfire? ;-)

Thank you for the keyboard In4m, using it atm
thanks so much for this. this is why i bought an android device. the ability to continually improve no need to wait for updates from the manufacture. because of people like you make these devices so wonderful for people that aren’t happy with base software and want the ability to adapt and customize they’re devices.
Hi everyone.
Today while surfing on the browse, I saw that you could put the Sense Rom (of Legend) in Xperia X8.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-914513.html
And I thought: why already exists one porting of the Sense Rom for Xperia X8, and no one for the LG Optimus ONE?
I await answers.
UPDATE 01/06/2011:
Watch how many ROM (Sense 2.1 - 2.2 - 2.3.3!!!) racht port for Sony X8:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=914513
And we don' t have any of this ROM
This is my last message, i put it in the top of 1 page.
Why would you want a SENSE ROM ? It's slow and laggy...
It makes no sense to put all our power on a port of any useless and slow UI. We should concentrate on Gingerbread, but if I will find some time I could try it, but I don't expect any satisfying result.
unless I misunderstood, flashlite runs over froyo based sense rom
It's not full flash. I really don't feel the lack of flash...
we all know it's not "full" flash ... but it's more than no-flash.
i don't care if there's flash on my phone but someone may need it
Flash it's an important feature, there are lots of flash sites. When you need information from a flash site you'll have to use Pc or call a friend. )
For me,Flash it's useful,even if it's buggy and I don't like it.

This is a misconception the microprocessor present in optimus one does not have the capability to play flash no matter what software aka rom u run on it ...
You are a little bit wrong here. He is actually talking about flashlite from sense ROMs. Wildfire for example has flashlite and it works on an armv6 528 mhz. So, it's software...

opt1 haven't flashlite because adobe made two version of flash: FlashLite 4 for Eclair (android 2.1) and Flash 10.1 for FroYo ... we can't use flashlite 'cause we haven't eclair and we can't use flash 10.1 due to hardware specs
htc sense based froyo roms has flashlite ... i don't know why... some kernel module i guess

Can somebody move this thread to develop ment mayb if devs took a look at it they cud figure it out
I think it would be pretty slow ... Agreed that wildfire hasa a weaker processor, but the screen is also smaller .. Qvga only ...

It was the same with me! i have the LG GT540 and now are we actually having a sense port ;3 haha sorry guyz :c

I agree that it may be laggy, but even then, I would love to try a sense rom, since now I've been searching for a similar HTC Sense flipping clock, could not find one. If someone starts the development, I'm willing to be a tester

I do not want Sense ROM. And frankly, if the effort put into coding this flash piece of junk was put into HTML5 development, we could have long got rid of this bug-infested, slow vulnerable crap. Whoever codes sites that depend on Flash and do not work without it is an ignorant moron. End of story.
Y dont u guys try to port it, if u really want it. LOL...
Hi guys! i am getting different answers every hour...
MIUI users... please help..
Which is the default font?
Arial or Comfortaa? (Froyo & Gingerbread MIUI?)
Roboto? (ICS MIUI?)
Opificio?
THANKS VERY MUCH!!
Sent from my W8 using Tapatalk
I am 95% sure Gingerbread MIUI uses Arial
95%?? Thanks... but I need 100% answers...
Sent from my W8 using Tapatalk
Well then take your rom apart and look. Each roms can use a different font depending onbhiw the developer sets it up. Or you could check out one of the sites that support MIUI
Thanks I will try..

I always thought it was helvetica.

If you select multiple input languages (I have Dutch and English) it just becomes a language switch and much less annoying. But the keyboard isn't the best, I preferred the old 2011 version (the one on the Arc, Neo, ...)
can u recommend me a new keyboard?
is go keyboard ok ?

Thumb keyboard. To me it's the best. I prefer it over swiftkey. Swype is also a good alternative.

I use the stock still, but have you tried SlideIT? I used it on my X10 and found it pretty decent. It kinda works like the stock, but without the settings key
I don't find the settings button a problem because I switch between English and Dutch a lot, so it's not there.
I use Smart Keyboard Pro

Hello everyone, i was wondering if it's possible to replace the default stock dialer with the original android dialer like the one in cm9 because to be honest the dialer has always been a problem for me ever since my Xperia Arc, for the life of me i really can't understand how Sony with all it's awesomness can't make a fast dialer, it's so slow sometimes it's embarrassing and at the moment i feel like reverting back to stock from cm9 even though i love cm9 but it still lacks some important features to me, and it does not make sense to use a different firmware just because i can't get the stock Sony dialer not to lag.
