Hello guys i live in Greece,Europe, i am really sad as you see in description the screen has broken!the phone is Droid DNA..the screen has a crack on the side...as you see in photos....it's really shame as i was taking care the phone very very well!and in a lot of worse situations that this my old phones HTC Sensation Xe And One X didn't have any problem!! i don't know how it broke..i was going to work every day and was having it inside my litlle bag..something maybe pushed it...don't know guys...the thing is that if i can get a replacement for this...i bought the phone from ebay..this phone has a warranty right?i bought it brand new...if it hasn't any other solutions????
P.M: When i have the screen on the crack is invisible...no way to sse it...i have to look at it very carefully to notice any small detail...only in black..with other colors fully invisible...the thing is that for now..it's working well and no problem...but if it get worse???waiting for your answers..here the photos Really Really SAD

I just contact them and informed me that they cannot repair it..it can only repaired in U.S so don't know how i am supossed to do this from here!!!!F***K :crying:

I wish you luck with the repair but I dont think HTC is going to do it for free. The 1 Year warranty is for manufacturer defect. Breaking your screen probably wont be covered. They will charge you to fix it. Try finding youtube videos about replacing the screen and see if you can do it yourself.

i don't have problem to pay for the screen repair......the thing is that i can't do it alone because there is no screen for dna online for sell...so i can;t buy it.....
I'm not sure what you have over here but I know that a lot of 3rd party cellphone stores (wireless zone, ect...) have their own repair services. I'm sure they're not that cheap but at least it's a physical store you can go to and probably still cheaper than buying a new phone.
Hey don't forget that I am not living in States but in Greece that is Europe... All these repair centers that you told before has any official website to contact them???also they have original replacement parts for DNA??

It was a simple 3 foot drop face down on kitchen tile.
I have TEP so it is another $100 and I will have a replacement. The bummer of it is Asurion is out of stock so if I'm lucky I'll have it by week's end.
Update: if I play the movie backwards the phone repairs itself and vocalizes a demonic message!
Seriously I just an email from Asurion that my replacement phone is coming tomorrow.

From my understanding the phone being so new Sprint doesn't have any refurbished units or parts to swap. Therefore I had to use the insurance.
I feel your pain bro. Drowned mine over the weekend and Asurion told me the same thing, out of stock. Luckily they found one...or two I guess, and I'll have my replacement today. Get a hard case! I'm going to invest in some Ziplok baggies myself...

Did you check with a store? My wife had scratches on her evo 4g screen that we showed sprint....(this was like 8 months old) and we asked if there was anything that could be done......they said they couldn't repair it....a few weeks later a brand new evo showed up in the mail to replace hers. No insurance needed. I was surprised myself because we did not demand it or get upset, but it does say they the repair center is supposed to be able to fix damaged phones....might want to check just to make sure....You may still get charged....but its worth the shot.

Maybe next time I am already getting my replacement today and the $100 has been already paid.
Since this would be considered physical damage he took the correct step and contacted asurion. I highly doubt a sprint repair center would fix it.

I found a P500 (I think) this morning lying on the side of the road. Probably fell out of someone's pocket. The battery and back were lying next to it. At first I didn't think much of it and just walked past. Then I realized I'd rather return it before someone else finds it and keeps it. I know losing your phone + contacts really sucks.
So I have a P500 right here and I wanna return it. To do that, I will need to get into the phone and call a few contacts. Unfortunately, the phone requires a PIN. This is probably not a phone issue and more of a SIM issue, but is there a hack to get into the phone without entering the PIN? Or perhaps just find the Google account that is linked to it so I can e-mail the person?
Edit: friend just pointed out that I could just put my sim in the phone. It works and I have the e-mail address. Thanks!

Check what carrier it is and give the phone to the carrier? Most normal users use the pc suite from lg and not there google account.

1st Note: bad headphone jack - replaced under 30-day return
2nd Note: bad glass glued down - replaced under 30-day
3rd Note: bad vibration unit - replaced under warranty for refurb
4th Note: really bad black crush - replaced under warranty for refurb
5th Note: phone powers off when tapped (OMG)
Trying to get AT&T to replace the phone with a brand new Note (not refurb) or give me a SGS3 or my $300 back.
They keep either wanting to:
1. send me refurb
2. send me a refurb of a different, lesser phone
3. reset my upgrade date and allow me to purchase a new phone at discount
What does it take to get something resolved here. Anyone have any contacts in AT&T that I can call to get something done?

My suggestion, ask for your money back and buy one from BestBuy. Their black tie program is the best.

I know. I really love the phone and its screen size but after all this, I'm kind of bummed.
I finally talked to someone who could help and they have decided to send me a brand new Note and i get to keep the "4th Note" for free. So in that regards, AT&T actually came through for me. But now I have to decide on sticking with it, selling and getting a SGS3 or just go with the Galaxy Nexus. I'm just really turned off by Samsung right now. They are a great company but this situation was pretty ridiculous.

long story short...had a used, out of warranty pantech phone (non smartphone) for my kid, it was unlocked but still ATT phone, well they couldn't put it on the network, 3 tech's and hour later all on the phone, ATT said "tell you what" bigjoe, we will just sent you a new phone & replace that pantech"....."so pick one"...so I did told them a MOFO NOTE!, day later got it which was 2 weeks ago....so went back on ebay and got my kid another pantech...LOL

I had something like that happen with me, I had got a skyrocket, and then returned that to get a Note, still in that 14day period, the note wont turn on at one point, and was at the 30day of getting the skyrocket, called their warranty support and they dint have any refurb notes at the facility cause it was too new, after talking with premium customer care, they sent me a new one, and I kept the old one, got it replaced eventually and sold it, also got my first one for $150, so got two of them for $75
I'd be less concerned about the phone and more interested in learning what caused the bad Karma that resulted in so many Note problems...Grasshopper.

Yeah its on all screens when I have the spen on that area of the screen the onscreen icon bounces alk over the place like I have tremors in my hands. Since I acquired this unit from eBay I have no idea of its history but I can assure you that I have not done anything to this unit. If I had gotten this unit from a carrier I would have a plane on it and have it exchanged it by now but I don't have that luxury. The only other thing can think of is to replace the entire screen unit but that is not worth the price since I got a really good deal on the entire unit. If I was to go that route I might as well replace the entire unit for the price I paid for it ya know?

Well, I'm thinking you should flash the correct stock rom. Whether you want the latest Jelly Bean or the previous Ice Cream Sandwich is a personal choice, but make it 100% stock to erase any previous work.
If that clears up your issue, good. If not, then you know its the hardware.
Did you try another pen from another phone or tablet?
I am thinking its a hardware problem cause I am running stock and it has persisted from ICS and I bought an spend for a note 10 cause I wanted something bigger, insert joke here, and the issue is still there. Unfortunaly for me, I no longer have the funds to acquire a new display kit so I guess I am gonna have to live with the issue... Thank you for your ideas I do appreciate it

I had the same issue and is persistent amongst roms. It's a miss-aligned reader for the spen. it was very common in a lot of the first run models. I have the same issue even right now with my refurb though on the right side of my screen but and not as bad but my initial Note had the exact same border as yours.

Yes, I know that this is the AT&T HTC One page. I'm just curious though, I know that the 'Beatsaudio' branding can be rubbed off, however does anyone know if the carrier logo will be able to be rubbed off, or is it etched in? I know that nobody knows whether the "Verizon 4GLTE" is etched in or not, but one would think that if the AT&T logo is, the Verizon logo would be as well, right?
I had an AT&T One, but got rid of it and didn't think to check.

not sure how verizon's will look, but the ATT globe on the back of my one doens't bother me at all. it's incredibly minimal, almost not visible, and there's not a trace of ATT crap on the front, just the HTC near the buttons. hopefully the vzw logo won't be too intrusive for you. you get stock 4.2.2 on launch so dont complain too much.

It's not too bad, it's actually quite minimalist considering this is Verizon we're talking about, but I have seen a totally blank HTC One with no carrier logo and the 'beatsaudio' rubbed off and it looked damn sexy
