Note the title, i have enabled developer options by pressing the built 7 times.
However under the debugging sections, only got "Android Debugging" and "USB Debugging Notify" and there's NO "USB Debugging" options, and thus right now when i connect USB to my laptop, basically i cant access my folders in that tab.
Help please anyone? Is there any similar case for you guys?
Or only i'm the special case?

You can use small app"usb mass storage watcher", it will show notification when you plug your phone into pc and you can choose connection type (mass storage or mtp...)

I used to be able to choose whether I wanted to toggle activesync mode or storage mode when plugging in my htc hd2 to my pc's usb port. Now the box doesn't appear anymore (tried two desktop computers so far) and it goes straight into storage mode, and windows pops up the window asking what to do (Play, copy, print, open folder, no action, etc.).
I searched the phone up and down for an activesync option (I thought I'd seen it somewhere), but couldn't find it.
Could anyone please tell me how to reenable activesync without hardresetting?
Thanks in advance.
P.S.: I'm running an Energy rom.
Setings -> Menu -> All Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC. Then select the 'ask me first about USB connection....'

Hey,
My question is quite simple.
What generally happens in the Android System, when i switch on or off the USB Debugging? Is there a constant in the Android System Configuration, wich is turn on or off? How can the adb attached the devices, wich are turn on USB Debugging?
Hope you understand what i mean.
Thanks!
Thomas
Usb Debugging
If you want to know what is USB debugging and what does it do... heres your answer.. USB Debugging allows the android sdk and your computer to communicate with your android device and transfer data , basically lets you control your android phone from your SDK. It is a tool for developers . It can be activated by going to settings > developer options > USB debugging.

Help me !!
Iam running the latest nightly of cm11 (nexus 7 2013) , and the USB connect just doesn't work!
I try it with USB debugging and with out it , and it's not work ...
What to do ?
Does it charge the battery or is not working at all?
Using Tapatalk GT-I9505
I've just recently had this problem as well. Add pictures to show what it says or does when you say it doesn't work. If it charges the battery and displays the icon and notice that it's plugged in on the phone, then you'll just have to uninstall or disable the device on your computer and try it again for it to work.

I found it. Go under Storage > Menu > USB computer connection
I realized that there were no check-boxes marked. when I clicked MTP, it installed.

It should show up as a notification (when you connect the phone to your computer) or go to Developer options and search for "Select USB Configurations"
if you can't find Developer Options, first go to About phone and tap "Build number" until it appears
check your cable
try a different USB port in your computer
if it seems to be a software error tell us about your OS (distribution, version, etc.)
