1) try with Diff version of ODIN ( 1.85 or 3.04)
2) on a diff windows ( Xp or win7)
3)if on win7 then try running 'Odin' with 'Administrative rights' and see.
4)check with windows Task manager and see if any Kies process are running, if so kill them all and then try.

I just tried 3 versions of odin (1.85/3.04/3.07)
Still a no go
still need help...phone just wont get recognised by my pc...
Have you thought about how to borrow s2 if you have the chance. Then it attempts to connect to Kies and see what happens. Kies should install drivers or just recognize it. After that need you to disconnect the mobile phone from the PC. Shut Kies. Put your phone into download mode. Turn Odin on PC. Connect the mobile phone with PC and seen whether it recognized. After that, put your phone into download mode and connect it to Odin.

Is USB-debugging on(it's on by default)? If so, turn it off...
i have the same problem
Odin on my laptop cant see my GS2, but my desktop can
i'm guessing it's a driver thing
Install/ reinstall Kies, try connecting to kies 1st.. if it works, then Odin should work.. if not see under Computer>properties>device manager what drivers (radio) are not installed.. install them.. now it will connect.. i assume you have tried 1st as recommend in 1st reply

Hey people I am in a kind of panic situation my phone is showing
A phone and a computer sign is coming when I switch on my phone
I have tryed flashing in some other firmware thro ODIN but it says failed ...

Open kies if you have it installed, then plug your phone and turn it on, it will try to fix it.
Second option, kill kies completely, get a stock GB ROM download using checkfus or Sammobile and flash using Odin.
Download the stock ROM again, what you have now might be corrupt.

Did you install the Samsung USB Driver? I hope you are using Windows...
are you stuck in setup connection............
if yes uninstall Kies
try the following if you are stuck on kies
1. run odin as administrator.
2.try using different usb ports.
3. uninstall kies and use the samsung drivers alone.
Well was trying mobile odin on my p7500

Yeah I tried go to recovery mode but it shows the mobile odin 0.3 thing and reboots again
What should I do?
Any help ? Anyway to do this without otg or gtag . Noone experienced this kind of problem ?

My head hurts from trying to understand the above.
Let me see if I can make some sense of it:
You installed Mobile ODIN on your P7500, downloaded the ICS ROM, and tried to install it.
Apparently Mobile ODIN failed and immediately rebooted.
Now the tablet displays something about cache.img during restarts. That means that it's not totally dead, though.
You need to boot it into download mode and use PC ODIN to flash your ROM.
However, while you can get into download mode, your computer doesn't recognize the tablet.
You've tried several USB ports with no change.
You can't boot into recovery since that just gets you Mobile ODIN.
If you boot it into download mode and your PC doesn't recognize the tablet - especially if it doesn't see anything in device manager when you connect it, your cable is bad. Replace it. Then use PC ODIN to flash your ROM.

First install drivers.
Check Usb debugging in dev options
Third try a different usb port.

Connect your phone on download mode when Odin is open.
