Why is there no "sent time" text mod? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My galaxy s had this, so why on earth has this not? There's an old one, but it's based off the old SMS layout, doesn't work too well.
Any help appreciated, thank you!

Are you sure? Double check your settings.. I just switched SMS applications but I remember seeing a sent time next to my messages. At least I'm pretty sure

100% sure. Always has been on stock S3.

Looking at your screenshot I can see there are sent times next to each message so I guess I don't understand what you are asking.

They're received times!

Apparently, some people do not know the difference between sent and received.
I looked on this forum, but I didn't find anything. Maybe try searching themes and apps forum?

There is nothing, at all. The only one was ICS and it created a weird grey screen flash upon transition animations. I'm sure it must be pretty easy to edit! I'll try when I have some free time, but was hoping for someone with.better knowledge to compile one for me.

I actually don't mind touchwiz. It's not nearly as intrusive as Blur or Sense. I also prefer using the Touchwiz launcher due to the calendar widget

U know the answer to that

Galaxy S2 still good?

I'm thinking of upgrading my Nexus S, would the S2 be a good upgrade? I really don't care about bleeding edge stuff, I just want it to play the games I want it to and last the whole day (which shouldn't be a problem since I'm buying the extended battery) texting and such.

Yes. I can get 20+ hours on a charge, stock battery, stock rooted. I bought a galaxy nexus and couldn't play many games that I bought. Wimax will be around for a while and by the time you get bored with the s2, chances are that lte still won't be around in many areas. I'm only twenty minutes south of Boston and am not expecting sprint lte at the house...ever.

Yea it's still good. Can play all the games on the store. Can get up to 10 hrs screen time with the 2000mah battery apparently. I would consider the S3 though. At least look into it

Well, I live in Sweden (the first country that got LTE) and all the major cities and surrounding areas already have LTE coverage, but I don't care much for LTE since it drains battery like hell ATM. And our 3G is really fast compared to your 4G and probably Wimax/LTE too.

This phone (i9100) doesn't get WiMax.
EDIT: Also, this phone (which is GSM) doesn't work on Sprint. (a CDMA network)
(not that this matters to the OP....)

The S3 is really expensive compared to the S2, and I feel like it's a waste of money on benchmark performance.

I feel the s3 is not a worthy upgrade from an s2. I'm also all set with a device that knows when I'm looking at it.

Yea but it's quad core. It's future proof like the s2 was when it came out.. Thats why it has similar specs to the s2

Using the app, didn't realize the op was in Sweden. Regardless, I have the s2 and will more than likely be skipping the s3 cause it's not a huge upgrade here in the states(and it knows when I'm looking at it) and waiting to see what the next nexus offers

I tend to keep phones 'til they're obsolete so future proofing shouldn't be a problem.
Also, I think that quad core just adds to benchmarks, and real world use stays pretty much the same. The difference is minimal, with the dual core just being slightly slower in some transitions and actions.

There hasn't been anything that I couldn't do on the s2 so far. To me, the only reason to consider the s3 would be the new screen
Just upgraded from Nexus one to sgs2. Loving it. Feel like a huge upgrade. Sgs3 prob nice but money talk.

Thank you all for your help

I've been a lurker on this site since I bought my Samsung Infuse one year ago. Now I have the Galaxy Note (with flapjaxxx UCLF6 ROM) and I couldn't be happier.
But I have a question. I'm unable to download apps such as Widgetlocker, Super Status Bar, etc. Is there a way to fix this in the UCLF6 ROM? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks again

If you didn't have the Note or Note 2, what phone would you most likely be using now?

For me, I think Samsung Galaxy S III hands down. Runner up would be the HTC One X. That's also a very good looking phone.

Same.
I would probably have tried to get a HOX if I didn't love the note so much.
Probably some cheap flip phone. Kinda getting tired of paying 190$ a month for 2 phones when neither me or my wife make calls and send maybe 500 texts a month and now wifi is at 9/10 of the places I visit.

Reminds me of a time before these nice android tablets, I got a Samsung Q1 Ultra and hated windows and linux on it, so I ported Android-x86 donut to it.
Just a little after that the Streak came out and I felt like I wasted my time and money.
I had an AT&T HTC One X, but I got it early and I kept getting emails from people saying that they tried calling me but I never got the calls.
I returned it and got the Note.
I would probably also be on an sgs3.
HTC one x.which I have... tried the s3. Didn't impress me at all.. still waiting for my perfect phone. If the one x had a SD slot and a battery u can swap out. That would be my perfect phone.

Should I replace galaxy s2 with the galaxy note n7000?

I am so confused to whether go for the galaxy note because of it's enormous screen but
according to others on web galaxy note is a bit slower/laggy than the galaxy s2.
Some people on a forum said that this lag is due to its GPU because it has to handle a lot of pixels
what should be your suggestion..........?
Thanks for reading please reply as well
Go and post in N7000 sure you'll get a lot of replies

gnote is horrible laggy compared to s2 (CM10.1), i just flashed a linaro build -03 optimization w/e on a friend's note(CM10.1) =P
but ram is always around 400~500mb, and the gpu has a lot of work to do for that big screen, it might not be that bad

go ahead the devices are identical besides the screen
yeah its a tad slower because of the higher pixel screen but the S pen makes up for the lost performance
