Why my battery drains so fast after I charge it to 100%?
Battery lowers very fast even when screen is off with no wakelock.

It was definively not hot, 16 degree celsius. I don't think battery is not calibrated because I never changed rom.

No its not an issue it is obvious that if u run heavy games, battery consumption will be more and temp will automatically increase.
This is happening to me also, and it's not just a heavy load issue. I don't have this problem with stock rom. I also use FreeX10 beta4. I monitored cpu usage and there didn't seem anything unusual, however monitoring the mv of the battery is noticed it will sometimes be around 4153mv while othertimes 31200mv not sure what's causing the higher mv's though

As you are saying that your mobile seems "hot"
First you need to confirm that its charger/device issue or only with battery.
First do battery calibration with this method: (In this method you need custom recovery for your device
This may help you

Dont forget to thank him there on his thread.
IMPORTANT: You can skip this step>> "Wait 20 min after you are sure it is 100% (phone should stay plugged in)" - As i dont know much about LG devices and their batteries
Now some advice from me-
If you can cover it >>> Never charge battery again and again before 15 or 20%
Always charge your battery to 100% at once and use your device till 15% or less than 15% and then again charge it full and so on...
This will make your battery backup good as well for battery life

According to the Battery Doctor app, you shouldn't leave your phone on charge for more than 9-10 hours(MAX), otherwise it WILL harm your battery.
You should try hibernating some of those apps with Greenify.

BetterBatteryStats
Use better battery stat (check play store) or similar app to track draining application.
In this way you can find a culprit

Yes, over charge can reduce battery life.
I just got the rezound and purchased the laza zcell 3240 with it.... Put 4.2.2 ROM on it and drained the battery down.... It won't calibrate. Is there some unknown way to calibrate it

What do you mean "calibrate it"... all you can do with "calibration" is delete/wipe the battery stats file and let the OS rebuild it, it doesn't have anything to do with actually draining the battery, just how it is displayed to you and how run-times are calculated. We have known for some time this really does nothing. http://www.androidcentral.com/wiping-battery-stats-doesnt-improve-battery-life-says-google-engineer
If something is draining the battery, you have a rouge app that is holding the wakelock or a defective battery or device... install GSAM, BetterBatteryStats, or Wakelock Detector and figure out what it is.

Thanks for the response... i just realized after a few charges that it would drain from 100 to about 20% then things would go haywire it would drain so fast after that. I always monitor voltages with the solo battery widget. it would so how a steady drain down to about 3600mv then it would drop to 3400mv very rapidly... I had a droid bionic that would say it was dead at 3900mv then stay charged for many hours after the opposite is happening with this phone.
When you sleep, does your phone sleep, or does it stay up all night and crunch 1s and 0s? Rate this thread to express how you deem the speed at which the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1's battery drains under standby conditions. A higher rating indicates that when the phone is not in use, the battery drains minimally.

Can you Please share the usage Graph of your Device ?
Mine drains around 5-6% at night in standby! Its more than average considering the large 5000mah battery
Greenify / Freezing / disabling Google play services, or going nogapps improves battery life x10 times. In other cases, frustrate the app by denying it all permissions, so that it force closes every time it launches automatically (wakelock and drain prevented). Its an analogy to tying a runners shoelaces.....can't run, can't consume battery.
There are how many updates come till now for this phone? Please someone confirms it.
Draining issue is high.
Drained 29% last night..
Seems like software issue

It shows that the battery is consumed by android system is very high. I think it is a software issue

Use your phone till it becomes 0% and let it shut down Now press power button for 30 secs and make sure no battery is left to reboot the phone
Charge your phone till 100% with phone turned on/off (but don't use the phone while charging)
After 100% remove from charging and start normal usage till it becomes 0% again and now repeat same procedure 3-4times
Contact Asus CC they might provide better solution for your device after checking device details

Yeah, custom roms are highly optimized though it's unofficial right now I didn't think it would be this good. Well I'm on stock rom still and use greenify which does help a bit, the drain was 4% in 8 and a half hour.
the problem is on the apps that consumes power and data like facebook, instagram and some other similiar apps.
possible fix is disable them. and use fb instag by chrome. it makes the ram usage a bit less because the app wont use ram but "move" the ram usage to chrome.
ideal drain is more, after update and a bug also found Sim 1 hd capable.
I've noticed that my used ram is always above 2.0 gb. I wonder what's running in background consuming this much ram ?, this also might be the root cause of ideal drain I guess.
Afaik the poco f1 has 4000mah battery now i just installed ampere to measure my battery it shows 3250 much idk why whats wrong is it bad???

Check device hardware info app from playstore
Accubattery from the play store is the best app for charge speeds and battery capacity. It can also set an 80% charge alarm so you can get more life out of the battery by reducing wear on it. That app also accuratly reads the battery capacity and estimates the wear on it too.

Calibration of batteries Li-Ion or Li-Po is a myth. Using calibration apps doesn't really help as the battery files in system (to which these apps write) are renewed and the previous is data erased when you charge/reboot.
