Hello I just got bricked When I connect the phone to the pc it says the new hardware thingy and i hear the sound "tuthu" but when i try launching the phone i hear the sound of disconnecting the usb. and when i stop pressing the button i hear it connecting again? what should i do i cant launch my phone!
Try volume down+power, I'll say more if you say what screen you get.

Sorry dude, if that doesn't work you should take it to get it repaired.
I don't think he tried what you told him... @OP What ROM did you flash, did you charge your battery, what did you do etc...

OK, How much time did you wait after flashing sense revolution....? You must wait 5-10 mins for your phone to boot the first time...
Did you wipe cache, data and dalvik cache?
if no you need to boot into fastboot then re run the desire x ruu that can be found here

Read my lips, location that you gave for RUU (FileFactory) doesn't have RUU files uploaded anymore, so you'll find nothing there.
In my Index there's a link to another site containing active RUU files for download.
Sorry guys The thing is i cannot go in fast boot (vol down + power) I can only do the thing i did in the first post i was rooted and installed cwm and phone is like dead ?

Whats up man. bootloader is officially unlockable thru HTCdev, unlike our little brother. You can use hasoons kit or dont. It does work though. Unlock thru HTC dev, install a recovery and then a rom and you are done! No root exploits, no changing cid in order to unlock bootloader. Just unlock and flash... The way it should be.
Zound, the toolkit worked really good for me on att! Very self-explanatory AIO...make sure to use att TWRP

Football has an ATT Maximus Rom, Steve0007 has ATT Elegancia Rom, Baadnewz has ATT Insert Coin. Just installed IC, testing now. Football and Steves roms are both good. None of those devs actually have the device. It sure is great for them to cook for us without owning the phone.. That's prolly a major PITA.. Dont forget to donate to them dudes!

no you do not have to flash kernel (boot.img). it stays untill you reflash it. Wipes and rom re-installs do not touch the kernel. If we get s-off then kernels will install with the roms.

I'm fairly new to rooting with the Evo 4G LTE i know the basics, but anyway i rooted my phone and tried to install a custom rom, the rom didnt install right and got stuck on bootloader so i went back to recovery and factory reset and tried to restore my device with a back up, it went threw like it restored itself, but once again stuck on the bootloader. i then relocked my bootloader trying to unroot my device hoping that would fix the problem, now my device will freeze on the HTC logo, i then have to hold the power button to turn the device off, i can boot into bootloader and fastboot USB, but it will not let me go into recovery. when i hit factory reset threw the bootloader it just reboots into bootloader, please help!!

Those 2 roms have son installers that's why I gave you those to soff in the future will save lots of headaches

It's not bricked it's a soft brick just flash 4ext and flash a stock gb rom that'll give you a working phone also enable smart flash

Why didn't you pick a better time to do this since India and Pakistan get power outages? Or use the generator in your house. Corruption these days smh.
Back to the point, I had a similar situation except I made the classic mistake that almost every single person with an unbranded amaze made. Flashing an ics rom without firmware or even s off. I however know how to search, read, and comprehend unlike many of those people who bloated up the q a section with ICS updation threads...
I solved this little mess by finding a gb rom then starting the quest for s off, super Cid, and the magical firmware.
Tip: To anyone on xda reading this, knowing how to search and read will determine whether you are a smart newbie or a hopeless NOOB.

There is no better time in india to do this because corruption and congress..
And I search everywhere but didnt find my answer because my problem is little bit diffrent because I flash a gb rom through 4ext but after finish installation its start and stuck at a logo(a phone)
I tried so many time but every time its stuck at same point...
And yehh I am a noob (its my first android phone)...

Using 4ext recovery and enable smart flash but after that I am restart the phone its stuck at a logo(a phone)...

bcoz everytime i tried wire trick it say STILL SOBER i tried so many time (40-50)..
But i think i m fall in love with GINGERBREAD...lol
bcoz its battery backup..
I read somewhere in amaze forum that there is Gb rom too...
Is they are working without soff or supercid

Yes but when I reboot my phone I get the HTC logo and than the screen turned into black and it stayes like this but the buttons vibrate when you press them and vol down vibrates as well

The Rom is not compatible with your hboot, you need to change some things to get it working
Best thing you can do is installing myonedx+ mysensedx+ or shadowromdx (and choose jb hboot in the installer) because they will work with your hboot
I will help you tomorrow with the other roms
Just to reiterate what GtrCraft has said...
You are on the JB hboot (1.25.0002) meaning you can only flash JB roms.

There is no need to root just to flash a custom rom, just unlock bootloader, flash a custom recovery and flash the rom. The custom rom will come with root access enabled.

Sorry about that. I attempted to flash several ROMs and managed to somehow delete my os. I was able to restore my phone with a RUU after 12 hours of trying to bring it back lol. My phone is currently relocked. I would love to put a ROM with sense 5 on my phone, but I am worried about bricking my phone again. I tried to find threads to help me, but I for some reason was unable to find a thread that actually explained how to root, and put a custom ROM on the HTC One X+. If someone could explain step-by-step how to approach this I would very much appreciate the help.

Download and copy across a Sense 5 ROM - I use Insertcoin and its great
Just use Hasoon's toolkit to unlock your phone and flash TWRP. your old unlock.bin should work
reboot into recovery, wipe (dont format your storage), and flash the ROM
flash the boot image

I've been doing some reading, and I think I'm an idiot lol. I heard there isn't a sense 5 ROM for AT&T non-international yet (though I could be wrong), and I'm pretty sure that's what my phone is.

Download whatever recovery .img you wan't, and the custom rom.
Copy the custom rom to your internal storage.
Then just boot into fastboot and use the command "fastboot flash recovery xxxx.img" reboot into recovery and flash rom.

Your right. There are no sense 5 roms yet for the AT&T/Telus version of the HOX+

I went back to sense 4+ because i didn't like sense 5
I didn't like the fact that whenever i let someone use my phone. The first thing there greeted with when the turn it on, is my whole personal life .... aka Blinkfeed lol
