I have a problem with my x10 mini pro for almost a year .. I don't know when it exactly has started ... when I'm working with my phone suddenly screen goes crazy and divides into 2 part...touch is steel working ...I have to turn off my phone or put battery out to make it right even for 2,3 times...I've installed different ROMs but the problem happens every time after 1,2 days working...(I've unblocked my bootloader longs tome ago)
I need SE ORIGINAL ROM link to test...
any other ideas?

Your flex (the cable that connects the screen to the rest of your phone ) may be damaged or broken, it's the most common cause of this kind of behaviour.

Depends on where you live and if you can replace it yourself, I found one for about 10euros in an online shop.
I think I know your answer !
In my opinion, I think it's nAa kernel's bug. (If you're using it)
Simply update kernel or change to another like alfs kernel.
-I had the same problem(touch screen operates fine but screen out-put goes wild) , reflashing kernel solved my screen issue

You've got stock kernel now, If you still have the problems, it's not a kernel-fault. And I don't think our phones have the alfs-kernel available, i think that that was only cooked for the x8 or x10 (big one).

If this happened again just reflash stock 2.1 rom
Or reflash your custom kernel (if you are using one)

It`s true. Firstly my proxymity sensor stoped working. After that display was in 2 partions. Status-bar was at the bottom of the screen. Also my phone was unable to boot. It was always rebooting at the start. after disassembly i saw broken flex cable. now i am waiting for replacement parts. It is not a bug of nAa kernel !!! I tried both stock and custom rom!
if you happen to use an X10 mini pro then this is your problem. I already posted it on my thread here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1935124
but if you are using an x10 mini then I can't answer you about your prob. but please read the thread and spread the word.

The problem is with kernel.
If you are facing the issue, then you are on stock lg gingerbread or rom based on stock gingerbread.
Just use PaoloM70's OC Gingerbread kernel and all problems will be gone.

Unstable? Sorry, I have been running with Franco kernels for one month and there is no kernel panics, and any instability whatsoever.
I have this problem too, stock 2.3.3, everytime I connect my phone to pc to tranfer file, I have to restart my phone to mount sd card. The phone doesn't re-mount after disconnect from pc.

Hey Guys,
All credits go to an0nym0us_ & FXP team for their kernels which this one is based on.
We needed a kernel that functions like MESA but works on PAC rom.. well here it is for Xperia Mini (ST15i) ONLY.
Based on FXP142 + MESA, I call it ICEPAC.
I have tested it myself, no reboots so far, Wifi works and it makes the ROM very fast with minimal battery drain.
I am not providing any support on this and will probably never update it.
Remember you flash at your own risk!
Use the following command:
fastboot flash boot ICEPAC.img

Hello!
I've recently installed the fxp cm9 ICS firmware port and kernel on my X10. Now, it turns out several games have a bit of a problem with touchscreen commands. For example, after having installed the mobile Rayman game, the buttons on the main menu seem to respond to my touch at first, but don't actually do anything.
Having looked around for this problem, I ultimately found this quote:
"that problem is with your Kernel. There's a problem with the ICS Kernel 4.1.B.0.431 using touch games. You have to upgrade to a Kernel based on 4.1.B.0.587 or a CyanogenMod Kernel."
I'm not that knowledged in the field of android development, but I'm under the impression that the kernel I installed along with the CM9 x10 port is obviously a CM kernel. All kernels currently available on the X10 dev forums here seem to be based on the fxp cm9 kernel port as well. Thus, my question is: has anyone else encountered this problem, is the problem really relevant to the kernel as stated in that quote, and is there anything specific I need to know or do to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance for your help!

It it's the same problem I have, here's an example: you get into angry birds, select your level, fire about once or twice with slingshot and then no response from the screen. Back, menu and home buttons work but not the screen.
Yeah, I hadn't tried angry birds yet after having installed the new firmware, but I just gave one of the games a testrun and I can't even get in-game, main menu is completely unresponsive.
But no, there's no freezing or anything, I can just leave the game with my hard buttons, it's only the touchscreen in-game that's being unresponsive.
Not all games either since there's plenty of stuff that still works though.

Hey, a very noob question, but does flashing just another kernel, and not flashing a whole new firmware, also result in all your data being lost? If not, I could just try a few different kernels out without having to take a new backup.

I'm not new in flash kernel and rom often but this kernel really have problem for me, I was waited to use it really have no idea how do people make it work. Hope someone will know what's the problem and solve it soon. thank you
Yeah it's buggy..
I got it working by repeatedly pulling the battery. It keeps kernel panicking or freezing at kernel logo.
Reboot from CWM menu never works. It will bootloop once then freeze on kernel logo.
Something is wrong in the ramdisk.
@Yair - Did you alter memory / partition settings at all?

Yeah I saw you'd given an extra 1MB to ram.. That should make the changelog
Your testers didn't find these issues in the 4 days since you uploaded the kernel? They are not to be trusted!
good job~~
Is the fix already released?
I'm using first relase of this kernel without any problems.

CtrlAltDelIrl thank you for remained me, but you don't need to be the forum police here..
it was by mistake that cause by opening a new thread for the kernel.
Just...
No troubles with first release... very fast for a JB... Wow... I'll surely test the second.
For the law : yes right... but.... we're here for fun... developers develop for fun (and not interest - or money interest) so.... don't need to remind us every times : you need to... just : thank's to try
