I'm not new in flash kernel and rom often but this kernel really have problem for me, I was waited to use it really have no idea how do people make it work. Hope someone will know what's the problem and solve it soon. thank you

Yeah it's buggy..
I got it working by repeatedly pulling the battery. It keeps kernel panicking or freezing at kernel logo.
Reboot from CWM menu never works. It will bootloop once then freeze on kernel logo.
Something is wrong in the ramdisk.
@Yair - Did you alter memory / partition settings at all?

Yeah I saw you'd given an extra 1MB to ram.. That should make the changelog
Your testers didn't find these issues in the 4 days since you uploaded the kernel? They are not to be trusted!

good job~~

Is the fix already released?

well, i just took this idea to modify this file, recompiled fixed fxp kernel just for testing and it works! now im on fxp last kernel running minicm7 and everything works fine, no touchscreen bugs, just like froyo

Stock Kernel:
Update: here is ax8mt module fixed for gingerbread roms on stock kernel, please test it and comment if it works or not, this is made for those who doesn't want to unlock bootloader or prefer stock kernel (it seems that is dangerous to unlock bootloader for some devices)
Download ax8mt.rar attached, it contains ax8mt.ko file, install it as any other module (if you already have it, replace).
The other rar file (ax8mt_src_fixed.rar) is just source code...
Notes:
1- i dont know why is so "big" compared to original ax8mt (100kb vs 10kb) but I tested it on latest gingerdx (stock kernel of course...) and it works fine.
2- I'm not responsible if this bricks your device, but it didnt bricked mine.
3- This version of ax8mt is only meant to be used on CM7 based roms.

Can it be used on stock kernel? Cos I cant find /drivers/input/touchscreen

We, cypress digitizer users, have this bug in every gingerbread rom, so i tried to make a fix for this using nobodyAtall's idea and this is the result. Any custom kernel with this file will let us have no touchscreen bugs in gingerbread.
In other hand, fxpkernel is just what i compiled to test the fix, but this should work on other kernels (i wasn't able to compile other kernel than fxp's one).
I uploaded fxp kernel compiled by me just to say that i'm telling the truth and if someone else wanted to test.
I'm noob at this stuff, just followed guides and asked google for everything so we must wait for kernel developers to implement this on their kernels.
sorry for my poor english, i hope that is understandable now

Your flex (the cable that connects the screen to the rest of your phone ) may be damaged or broken, it's the most common cause of this kind of behaviour.

In my opinion, I think it's nAa kernel's bug. (If you're using it)
Simply update kernel or change to another like alfs kernel.

You've got stock kernel now, If you still have the problems, it's not a kernel-fault. And I don't think our phones have the alfs-kernel available, i think that that was only cooked for the x8 or x10 (big one).

It`s true. Firstly my proxymity sensor stoped working. After that display was in 2 partions. Status-bar was at the bottom of the screen. Also my phone was unable to boot. It was always rebooting at the start. after disassembly i saw broken flex cable. now i am waiting for replacement parts. It is not a bug of nAa kernel !!! I tried both stock and custom rom!

Issue with Kryllos V7B

I can't post in Developers section so I'll have to ask here.
I'm on Krylosv7b.jb.xxmb4, kernal 3.0.31-978827
First few days this ran fine, albeit a little slow, Now i'm having a few issues
1. Phone signal, both wireless and provider, being low or dropping.
2. Battery life is none existent, needing charging at least once a day (I don't use the phone lots, and turn data off when not using it)
3. Screen doesn't always appear. I press power/home button for unlock and all I get is a blank screen with a bit of fuzzyness. By the sound I can unlock it and re-lock it. At first I was rebooting the phone by either pulling the battery, or unlocking and holding the power button. However I've since discovered if i re-lock it and leave for 5 mins, I can then unlock with a working screen. No good for answering the phone.
ALL your problems will by solved if you instal xxmc8 kernel
So:
xxmb4+v7b+xxmc8 kernel and full wipe. Then you will get fast, stable and battery friendly rom. I dont have ANY problems in this config , even ram managment problem is fixed...(I dont see it now)

any kernel base MB4 / MC8 with swap kernel support ?
1 day after install of MC8 Kernel.
Battery has used 50%. On MB4 it needed charging 2 times a day.
Phone signal and wireless signal so far is better.
Speed has increased, and no lag at unlock.
Ahh noooo. Phone needed charging today, 30% left
but that was after 2 days, and the black unlock screen bug hasn't re-occurred.

I have seen the tweaks provided in the zip.
But, sadly more than half of them won't work.
It puts wrong values to files, and even to some files that are not present.
I recommend you not to try this tweak.
To tweak CPU, use apps like No Frills CPU Control etc.
To swap RAM, use RAMEXPANDER.
I will be writing my own tweaks for this kernel shortly.
And since, as you say, the kernel is trending in Indonesia, do remind that the kernel is only for Samsung Galaxy Star GT-S5282.
Cheers
thanks bro. . . .i deleted those files from the tweak on my system..but can i use ram manager pro to swap ram bro?.?. .is it really a swap ram?.?or a swap on cache?.??. .

Its a framebuffer issue (in kernel ofcourse). Well, I have never faced such issues, both on stock and CyanogenMod.
I use the latest XXANAF3 firmware.
Samsung has provided kernel source based on old firmwares, which when compiled and flashed on newer firmwares (as I said earlier, I was on latest stock), results in a softbrick.
However, looking at this post, it shows that the kernel compiled from source and flashed on older firmwares had no such issues.
We did got around that issue, thanks to TeamRegular, and got a bootable kernel on the latest firmwares.
Luckily, that kernel did boot on older firmwares, but at the cost of 'that framebuffer issue'.
On a side note, stock kernel from old firmwares wont boot on newer ones, and the ones from new firmwares wont boot on old.
And again, I think the issue is present only in older firmwares. Most of the stock based ROMs are based on older firmwares.
So what?
Yeah Samsung did make changes to kernel (source) but never published them.
So nothing much I can do, I can make a separate versions for both old and new firmwares (with no guarantees that the issue will be fixed), but that will add to it being more complex.
