Samsung Galaxy S3 GT- I9300 (UK - Virgin) 16GB
32GB Sd card installed
Omega v38 Rom with Alexander theme
Siyah 1.8.9 Kernal
ExtS2IntrnSd 5
So my problem is, i cannot save any photos or videos to my phone when taking them. I either get a message saying ' Please mount USB storage before using the camera' or 'Not enough space, delete items, photos etc....'
Now, when i 1st installe the custom rom, i obviously installed Omega v38 then the theme. Rebooted my phone then installed the extSd2intSd mod. Booted up and seemd ok, 30GB device memory and 11Gb Sd card
At the moment i have 29GB available on phone and 10GB on SD card so im confused when it says i need to make room or i need to mount the card.
When i installed it all i copied all files from 'original' memory to the new 32Gb storage. Did i do that right?
Anyone know what i have done to not be able to save any photos? Everything is perfect. love the rom, speed and look is ideal its just the camera

Hello,
I am very to flashing of ROM's on my Galaxy S3 so im still learning about things (so pretty much im a rookie)
As in the subject line, i have the latest UltimaROM v5.0.2 installed on S3 and its working perfectly and its rock stable. Really happy with it.
However I do have a quick question regarding extSDcard.
The phone somehow reads my extSDcard as an internalSD card and vice versa for the internalSD card.
In the camera when i have extSDcard (which is internal SD card) chose as the storage, the camera app FC.
While installing the ROM i did select the HyperMOD for the camera and i didn't select the option of Internal2External SD Script option.
Can anyone explain why this is happening and also how maybe i can i have the storage the normal way perhaps?
Thanks guys.

I don't know what this rom is based on but if it's Samsung based you can try to take the vold.conf and vold.fstab file from a stock rom and put it with root explorer in folder etc.

Try selecting the internal SD card instead

Thanks guys.
I just reflashed the ROM again since i wanted to try different mods and this time around i made sure i didn't chose the interna2external sd card option.
things are the way they were before.
thanks for all your help.
Hi, i also have this problem but everywhere i look, i cant find a sollution...I installed this cm10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000828, and everything worked fine except apps that needs an external storage available. i can read the sd card, but mu usb memory is non-existing... What can I do?
EDIT: When i made the backup with cwm 6.0, few times in a row black screen happened, and the phone switched off, then i flashed the 5.5 cwm and than an error occured on the usb memory, so i made a backup od the sd card.
If i want to go back to stock ROM, is it possible that i download the rom for a different country? because mine is not on the list.
Hello all. Sorry but be warned: I'm a n00b on the loose.
A few months ago I flashed ultima rom to my S3. In version 12, the extsd2internal mod could be installed through the aroma install. I did so and it seemed to work - my 16GB external sd was switched to Internal and it showed the internal storage space as being the external and vice versa.
However, I upgraded to V13 and in that version, extsd2internal is installed by default and is enabled/disabled in the ultima rom settings. I enabled it and rebooted and noticed that it doesn't seem to have worked - the internal memory and external memory are reading pretty much exactly the same. I formatted the SD card, disabled the mod and re enabled the mod. Still the same outcome. Then I completely wiped my phone memory and sd card through CWM recovery, flashed the stock rom through odin and re-rooted, re-installed CWM and flashed Ultima ROM back onto my device - the mod installed through aroma installer. I went and checked in storage and to my disappointment the problem is still the same.
No matter what I've tried, I can't get the mod to work properly ever since I installed ultima rom v13, despite wiping everything and starting again. is it a partitioning problem from installing the mod multiple times?
Please help guys. Turn on your genius!

Would a repartition fix? If so, does anybody have a PIT file for Android 4.1.2 SG 3 International UK?
So i recently rooted my samsung exhibit II 4g with root stock, pretty sure i did everything right. Then, i flashed to cm10.1 and the update gapps but i encoutnered a few problems. Everything seemed to work except
1)external sd card wasn't detected, an error occured. When using apps like clean master and app2sd and trying to download aptoid it clearly says that i had an external sd card. However, i could not use it. After looking into settings>storage, i found that i had 2 internal storages instead and 1 external storage and one of the internal storages was being used as the external storage??
2)My data and mobile bar at the top says 3g instead of 4g
Please Help, thanks in advance
Hi everybody!
I have a weird problem with the external sdcard in my phone. Suddenly, my phone stops to recognize my external memory. When I insert the memory card and turn the cellphone on happens the same when you clean dalvik cache, at the end, the phone is freezed (sometimes doesnt even recognize the sim card), restarts and again, the same cycle.
When I switch memory cards with another phone, both works very well and with no issues at all. The problem is just with my phone and only with that memory card. Here are the tests I already did:
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 international.
Phone using a custom ROM (Cyanogenmod 12.1, stock kernel)
Phone using custom ROM [5.1.1_r6][FULL-O3][i9300] RESURRECTION REMIX 5.5.1[CM12.1][OPTIMIZED]
Phone using original ROM flashed with Odin (Jelly bean 4.3, stock kernel)
Phone flashed using TWRP and CMW.
Memory card formatted in Windows (FAT32 and exFAT)
A log from CMW says: "Can't partition non mmcblk device: /devices/platform/s3c-sdchi.2/mmc_host/mmc1", no idea what it means.
Maybe something is wrong in the very core of my phone, not sure if when I installed original ROM with Odin is really like the phone came out of the factory.
Any ideas about what to do next? I'm sure the most simple thing is to drop the memory card to the garbage, but as it works in Windows and other phones, is something I want to solve.
Thanks in advance!
