Yes , I tried the both ways but it didn't work (( FakeCid AUTOMATIC & DirtyRacun S-OFF )) :crying::crying:

I'm sorry I neglected to pay attention to your radio I have just assumed ever has been updated by now. You need to update to the most recent ota.

But if you attempted to dirty racun you would of ran the ruu.zip which it appears you didn't.

This wrinkled my brow as well. A process like S-OFF requires carefully following instructions, which ahm911ss clearly has not done.

thanks guys:highfive::highfive: , finally i did it :fingers-crossed:

Your hboot will be downgraded to hboot 1.49.0007 and then you need to use revolutionary as usual
Ok, that I know, but I was thinking that this new tool (this thread) was a clean method to do that but with no need to downgrade

Here we go guys, after spending some time testing with the dev on IRC, here's the first Aussie Evo 3D to be S-OFF'd.
Don't go begging for this as there was a couple of issues we experienced during testing and these need to be looked at before the solution is made public, but it works.
Initially:

Edit: I'd recommend having your original GB RUU, Your desired recovery Image and su downloaded ready to go for when this is ready.
Nice to see progress being made.
Well done guys, nice to see an alternative to revolutionary's method.

[Q] Bricked phone perhaps?

So I rooted my phone using this link http://htcevohacks.com/htc-evo-4g-l...tc-evo-4g-lte-unlock-bootloadertwrp-recovery/
and it worked. So I decided to flash a new ROM to my phone. So I went into recovery (TWRP 2.4.4.0) used superwipe, installed Liquid-JB-v2.1-RC2-jewel and when I flashed the ROM. It stated successful. I then rebooted my phone but after the HTC sceen it just stays in a black screen. I then hard restart (if that is what it's called) my phone to the bootloader screen and went into recovery and wiped into factory settings in tried to flash another ROM and it just stayed at the HTC screen. So my question is,"Is it possible to flash a ROM to my phone if S-ON?"
When entering bootloader this is what my phone says at the top.

Your problem is that you are S-on, so you need to either flash a ROM with a S-on kernel installer (MeanBean or ViperROM are two choices there), or fastboot flash the kernel. Get S-off and you won't have this issue

Alternatively you can flash the kernel in fastboot. Then flash the rom as normal.
Extract the boot.img from the Rom's zip. Boot into your bootloader. type
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then reboot into recovery and flash as normal. No flash image gui needed.

[Q] s-off with 3.17.651 and Hboot 2.51

Hello everyone,
I am currently running this version rooted with S-On. I have been trying a long time to get S-off to work on my device, but I cannot find the proper method. If someone can direct me to which s-off method works with 3.17.651 and hoot 2.09, that would be great!. Thanks for your help.

You don't have to be S-off to run CyanogenMod. You need to extract the boot.img from the ROM and flash it via fastboot commands in the bootloader. Then you can flash the ROM itself from recovery. I explain this pretty clearly in my guide.
