Downloading.. Changelog?
From other user on this forum, it seems that the wifi problem is still present...

Can someone post the change log?
Yes, it's mirror link of your post in xperia.cz
can someone check if the photo editor bugs are fixed or are they still the same?
Well since it's not a generic firmware I doubt there are any critical bug fix.

And another question, my xperia P, is unlocked to all networks, should'nt the bootloader be unlocked as well?

Network unlock is different than bootloader unlock. those are two different things. Google them to get the info you need
As for this update you can flash it on locked bootloader using Flashtools. it's the best out there for flashing FTF files for Xperia Devices.

My rom does not work.

i use dsixda's Android Kitchen build rom.the resource is from RUU.
it can't flash to my phone with ClockworkMod_Recovery_6.0.2.7.when it is begin, the phone reboot.
Now i use ClockworkMod_Recovery_6.0.2.8, it works well
Honestly it could be any number of problems. I have found that its some what easier to flash the RUU root the RUU then use adb pull and pull everything from the phone then build the ROM from that. Just my 2 cents.

Ill never understand the mentality if people like this. My school is full of kids who ask how to do everything instead of doing their own research.
Most of the time, the information is already available to them from material right in front of their noses. Yet they still want to be spoon fed.

How much experience do you have in java? I'm guessing none. I've been into android for about 4 years (theming), learning java for over a year and I still won't attempt to dev a Rom. In other words, really learn this stuff before you brick your phone or worse, someone else's phone. If you can't debug your own work, you're a lost cause.

Hello everybody,
This is my very first post on here and im new to android phones after having iphones for years.
I have a galaxy s3 and im keen to get it rooted so i can start doing some crazy stuff on it, more because im a bit bored and hacking is cool, lol.
Any step by step guides for beginners. And i do mean beginners. Some of the terminology used on here is baffling.
I look forward to many more posts on here.
Cheers in advance

first you have to root it with Odin....
you need this... http://go.android-hilfe.de/v1/redir...n.html&cache=6M7D92TQIROG9CER78KG5PRCFURLI7CP
and this https://androidfirmwares.net/Tools/Download/8
start odin.... choose PDA and the File you download: CF-Root-SGS3-vX.X.tar
start your S3 with Power+Home+Volume Down.... and the security question you answer with Volume up
dont forget to connect USB Cabel
look at the Picture... it must be all like that

Odin say it to you when everything is finished. the window at odin will be blue...
Cheers for replying.
Looks like a simple enough process.
Could still do with a lengthy guide on dos and donts. Some of that went straight over my head, lol.
