[REQ] Resized LWP Asus Day Scene - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1638541
APK located in those threads that work with the Note Tab.
I think this might just be a resolution issue, I looked at how to get this LWP to work for Nexus 7/you just change the DPI of the system. I tried playing around with different DPI's on my N2 and it would load without FC, but it was super zoomed in. Since we got auroa working, any chance of someone resizing this to work with the note 2?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37318299&postcount=4
someone had modded this to work on the note 2, but the resolution is a bit small. i have pm'd him and he seems to be working on making one with the corrected resolution/updated apk.

Has anyone heard if this cool LWP has ever been sized to the Note 2 screen. I love the aurora LWP and I have the tried resized day scene. Indeed, it is a little short to cover the entire screen, which just makes it seem ...odd. I can see that if this LWP came to the Note 2 - it would be a really cool set up!
Thanks!!

FYI that wallpaper is the wrong dimension.. you set it to scroll, but you are supposed to be able to see the whole tree. js version ftw

Not working properly on JBv10
Doesn't display correctly on 4x5 TouchWiz scrollable launcher running on JBv10. The wallpaper image needs to be fixed to the Note 2's resolution size: 720 x 1280.
1024x600 - Install was a success. However, missing left and top portion.
1280x800 - Install error/fail.
AsusDayScene.apk + signedAsusDayScene - Install error/fail.
I currently have the 'Blue Skies Live Wallpaper' by Kittehface Software but it's draining too much battery. Hopefully, this LWP will give better battery life. :fingers-crossed:

I did not know that. Resizing the background means the tree and landscape will get dramatically smaller. As the wallpaper was made to be viewed in landscape mode.

I did not download the apks from the OG post that have the resolution in the titles. The post link I provided above also had two apks. The first one has to be pushed to system/apps and the other you install regularly.

If you get the js version it shows everything
And no, the padfone version runs both in landscape and portrait full screen. So yeah, you are just talking about the tablet versions.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2121007
they have updated with a full screen scrollable version/padfone 2 version with the side cut off a bit.
there are quite a few options now if anyone is still interested.

I just downloaded and ran it and it looks great. No lag really. Note 2 with JB13 at the moment.

There are plenty of qHD wallpapers in the link in my signature.
I love the link!! but the thing is that these wallpapers all seem to be sized for phones like the atrix which utilize a moving background.... The evo 3d wallpapers should really be 960 by 540 because they don't move in sense 3.0... My 3 wallpapers are fully optimized with sense in mind... No cropping (loss in quality) needed
App works great here, thanks for the walls. Keep'em coming.

This is true, but I think the majority of people are/will use different launchers, as the Sense launcher sucks for not supporting moving backgrounds. Nice walls nonetheless

It would be nice if Sense had the option to have your wallpaper move while switching screens, makes everything look more fluid.

Pretty good idea for a thread. I like seeing everyone's favorite Widgets and apps. Not to mention, I'm pretty anal about my screens and spend too much time f'ing around to make them perfect.... So showing them off is excellent.
I'm using the ICS theme for Go and the standard lock screen (which I love due to the quick launchers). I also threw in my system management screen because I consider it to be a thing of relitive beauty.

I'll play -- RC4 running Apex Pro at 192, most other apps are at a custom dpi between 240 and 320.
Homescreen: Clockr, Asus Weather, Asus Time, Widgetsoid, ScreenFilter.
ROM is fully working - no FCs. But I don't have anything installed to the SD card either.
-RC4 running great
-Apex Pro
-196 DPI for system and most apps
-bobclock 3D
-hd widgets 2x1 weather
seriously love this rom!
what do you use to get your icons that big? I'm at 213 dpi and they look smaller than yours do at 192. Also your text looks bigger.
---------- Post added at 12:59 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:58 AM ----------
How did you get the asus weather widget to show Fahrenheit? And also how do I check to see if any apps are installed on my sdcard?
Edit: I look at the first two posts and the pics in it the status bars are different sizes. Sorry for all the questions, in addition to those first two questions, how are you guys customizing all those things? (status bar, icons, text, etc.)
Hmmm how do I make my apps look smaller?
I'm loving the ROM aside from the SD annoyance.
Nothing really exciting about my setup, it just works.
Apex @ 213dpi

Have you tried Wallpaper Wizardii from the market? It does a fairly good job at setting hidef photos for the N10 if the settings are changed for maximum resolution. I use it for my own photography and I am quite picky, lol. The stock wallpaper setting process seems to degrade photos greatly, so try Wizardii it degrades less.
Follow the link in my sig and help yourself to any photos for wallpapers. Ironically the ones I post publicly are small to keep reproducible theft down, and some might be too small for the N10. I sell gallery sized works, but give away the small stuff (can't stop it anyway), so help yourself if you find anything you like.
Many like more graphic art scenes for their devices, but if you like landscapes and nature, help yourselves.
Thanks !

The native wallpaper resolution is 3966x2560, to account for scrolling and when the homescreen is in portrait. There's not many out there (I've only seen two thus far) but anyone making or cropping images specifically for the N10 should go for that resolution so tools like Wallpaper Wizardrii and others aren't needed.

To be honest, I"m not sure. 3966x2560 is the resolution of the wallpapers included with the N10, and if you try to apply an image that size as a wallpaper it wont crop. I'd love to know the actual logic behind it though.
