You need to do a full wipe and flash the key library zip as well, plus this belongs in the Q&A section or one of the several porting threads we already have, my friend.

If we flash the below kernels - key is already included in the zip.

Audio glitches are from lpa being enabled in cpu sleep state. Just use aftr only. At least that worked for most others having the issue

[MOD][UPDATE] XXLPH/XXLPJ/XXLPQ I777 Kernels - Stock and Siyah+My UPDATE MIUI Kernel

I didn't want to have this get lost in my other threads so I decided to make a new one.
These kernel's have the necessary in-call patch to work for our phones. I have attached a flashable zip so you can flash the I9100 ROM (Only for LPH based ROMs) of your choice and then flash this kernel.

Steps
1. Do usual wipes
2. Flash a I9100 ROM that is LPH based (pretty sure it is only Sammy based ROM's right now)
3. Flash my kernel.
4. Flash a Modem from our I777 collection.
4. Reboot.
LPQ ROM's verified working on with LPQ kernel
1. CriskeloServanTeam V05
Sammy ROM's verified working on with stock kernel (Thanks cjsabaki)
1. Wanam lite ics rom (has a phone apk with no noise suppression)
2. ICS resurection (It is flawless, has everything working, including: camera, video, usb, external_sd)
AOSP ROM's verified working on with Siyah kernel (Thanks cjsabaki)
1. MIUI v4
2. CM9
3. AOKP Hydro1.5 ROM
4. Bezke's AOKP build
This does not fix the in-call Noise Suppression issue, that is a modification to Phone.apk so be forewarned

Ok thanks, I'm staying on AOKP for now
gonna try this out
I'm gonna try this out but want to make sure I flash the correct modem. Where do I get the KJ4 modem that will work for LPH releases? I've found the Modem post in the original development section and the CM9 modems that task650 posted in the CM9 i777 post. I'd appreciate anybody's proper guidance.
I tried Siyah's ICS 3.0alpha3 for just testing fun last night (knowing calls won't work - just playing), and it had a much smoother scrolling/UI screen feel to it. Would it be possible for you (ktoonsez) to combine / share your collected mods on getting the ICS kernel to work on our i777 phones with gokhanmoral, so he could offer up a Siyah version for our phones? Just wondering... thanks... appreciate all you do for us man!

Take your preferred modem from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1361393
Then follow op instructions. Basically, Wipe data, flash ICS LPH rom of your choice, flash gapps, flash this kernel, flash your modem, reboot
FYI, I flashed Westcrip's rom earlier this morning using the above mentioned flashing process without issue. I actually prefer Bezke's AOKP look and feel so I went back

Yes I can hack his kernel so it will work with ours. Looks like he is on alpha 4 now. Does anyone know how to contact him, probably should contact him before doing it?
EDIT:
Whihk ROM or ROM's did you use it on?
Also be aware, since there are no sources yet (direct quote from his site):
Warning: this is not a compiled kernel but only a repack of cfroot kernel. only initramfs part is modified until the sources are out.

Siyah recovery does not overwrite your current recovery
The only way to access Siyah recovery is in STweaks app (Dualboot section)
well ive had siyah running on my s2 for ages so how come its changed between devices? Tbh i miss the nice theme as well lol
I9300's recovery is not integrated in the kernel
It has separate partitions.
Your first recovery will stick.
Gokhan added an option in STweaks to access the true Siyah recovery. This is the only way to get to it.

Siyah 1.7b1 and b2 included the recovery. Gokhanmoral removed it from b3 and later kernels.
I have the b2 kernel if you want. If Gokhanmoral does not mind, I'll share it here, so others who want Siyah recovery can install it.
You can flash rc1 after flashing it. You'll retain Siyah recovery.

Otherwise, read both the development thread and the Q&A thread.

[Kernel] Kernel for leaks??

I often switch between different ROMs, then for me Siyah kernel is a good choice! But unfortunately, it doesn't support 4.2.X leaks. Then, when i want to boot a 4.2.X Samsung ROM, i'd like to simply flash a compatible .zip kernel, and not the whole ROM again! It's good even the stock one, but i can't find the .zip to flash it.. Can someone help me to find a working kernel??
Thanks in advance
There is NO custom kernel for the leaked 4.2.x at this moment as Samsung didn't drop out the source so no way to customize it

Just reflash the full rom. It may be that the glamour kernel is repacked in a slightly modified state so the original leak kernel may not work. reflash the rom

Quickest and easiest method is to flash the rom first, then while still in recovery flash a compatible kernel, then flash one of our modems.
Remember to do the necessary wipes, and follow any other instructions a kernel might need for its own installation.
That's it.

You're not doing the factory reset and formatting /system. Those should be done before flashing ANY roms, let alone 9100 ones. It's making me a bit nervous that you didn't do this; you shouldn't be flashing things on your phone if you're not sure about the proper steps.
In any case, AJK AOSP is the correct kernel for AOSP roms.

Sorry if I didn't specify. I use "Wipe data/factory reset"
And I will wipe system manually.
I try and I tell you.

Same result.
Samsung Galaxy S2 Bootloader Logo ---> AJK Banner ---> Blank Screen (Keys light turn on)
What I have to do?
I left it about 10 minutes and nothing happened...

That usually means you're using the wrong kernel for the rom you're on. What are you trying to port, let's start with that.

That's an older version, might not work with our current kernels, but the one to try would be AJK 4.9 mic swap (which I think you've tried already). MIUI roms are notoriously finicky to port, btw.
Still, why port this yourself (with lots of trouble, it appears), when there's already a v5 MIUI port in our own forums?

(Sometimes, I want to have a Galaxy S2 i9100...)

Hi, I know various methods to "port" i9100 ROMs to the i777 (stock-based ROMs), but now I don't know because I want to port an AOSP-based ROM and Stock method doesn't work. So can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.

Ok. I will try later.
Hey! After all I will not port it... But thank you a lot for the help. I will try with another ROM.
So... I think this thread is closed.
