I flashed the sense revolution r3 today but could not get it working.
Following are the issues faced.
1) It starts without installing the mods package, but lacks the full sense widgets like htccontacts, htc calender etc.
2) when i flashed the r3 mod package, it gets stuck at the lock screen. The Sense UI crashes.
3) Without the mods, i faced another bug in people widget. it crashes when i click the phone dialer from it.
I am currently on sense r3.
Please help me install it in full.

When I reboot with the mods flashed I have no notification bar to pull down.
I can't clear the sense UI data. And so it's failing to start.
Basically I'm stuck at lock screen.

You have to realize that those 'two things' are almost 100 percent of what the htc framework is made up of. The launcher being the biggest part. Everything sense related has something to do with the launcher and the framework.
You -might- be able to do it, but it would be easier to just use the whole rom.

hit the nail on the head....
Following this request by coupetastic-droid, I've made the mod attached.
Thanks to this reference by Paul627g, that helped me to avoid testing phase (I initially made the mod by attempting to shrink the clock area to 0 width, but it didn't work so well - and then found the mentioned reference).
The mods were made for:
Virtuous Unity 1.29 and below
Virtuous Unity 2.35 and above (can most probably be flashed on 2.33 BETA as well)
Virtuous Doubleshot 1.1.5
Sense 3.5 R_type 1.0 (Runnymede)
You can attempt to flash this on other Gingerbread Sense ROMs, but remember to back up the ROM and restore if the mod doesn't work.
oh yeah! this is going to make the status bar much more cleaner. specially when other mods are added. ill post screenies of mine later.
all I need now is the 4g icon that I still can't get to work with the transperant pulldown.

Is this supposed to make the pull down transparent? Cause it would not do it for me?

This mod only removes the clock in status bar as stated in op.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using xda premium
Is thr a way to backup-restore d original clock?
Copy your /system/app/SystemUI.apk and save it somewhere, place it back in /system/app/ if you want the clock back.
Jack, is it possible to get this mod updated for bliss and runnymede?
I'm running rafy's runnymede rom and would like to remove the clock out of this one as well.

Please upload me the SystemUI.apk, or point me to the ROM download. Thanks.

First post updated with your request. Please test and reply.
sorry jack. that broke my status bar.
heres my systemui.apk if it helps better.
Sorry, got the same results. Looks like I can't decompile the APK properly - apktool shows warnings, that are probably the reason for the failure you saw.

Let's make a wishlist for our phones so devs know what to aim for when compiling. I'll start with my own wishes and edit in wishes from answers to thread.
(Of course I'm talking about a sense ROM)
Toggles in notification bar
Battery percentage
Uniform coloring in notification bar
Debloated version
Totally stripped version
Lockscreen widgets
Lockscreen gestures
Dimable soft buttons
Ultra low display backlight levels
Volume button music control
Busybox
Init.d support
720p recording
Calculator widget
Reboot options
Sense 4.2
Also:
Working AOSP
ParanoidAndroid
Tyvm dev plzthxbai!

720p - maximum for Adreno 203.
if possible, that would be great!
Okay guys, when there's an working AOSP out, I'll port TrickDroid and try to get all these things in.

I don't know if there is one, but if there is I'd like a widget that lists both messages and mail instead of having to use two widgets. I tell all my contacts to use mail, but some ppl are left in the last millennia.
I'd love to see an option to reboot to recovery/fastboot...
yepp, reboot into recovery would be very helpful !!
Until the reboot options are integrated in a custom rom you might want to try the app Quick Boot https://play.google.com/store/apps/...medium=organic&utm_term=quick+boot+play+store from the Play Store, works like a charm! Requires root of course.

though it is too much to wish for...bt it shuld be based on ----4.2 ------instead of 4.1...
Please should be made some kernel development? I badly need sweep2wake, it's foundamental for me. In addition, the processor is underclocked at 1 Ghz, but it should be 1.2 Ghz, so we could gain power in absolutely safe way...
@nightcrow Really nice application. Thank you.
Ad Hoc WiFi will be helpful for me. It is not working in stock rom.
Sweep2Wake!!
Battery percentage
Weather Lockscreen
Anything else is fine. Sweep2Wake would be the thing I would need most
MIUI? PACman?

I think that it is not possible on stock Rom, maybe you can do it on custom Rom.
P.S. do you guys noticed that after JB update it became laggy or only I have this problem ? it's not so smooth as it was on ICS...
