I have unrooted my droid DNA and will be sent back for replacement.
The question is, the bootloader says relocked but should it say Locked??
I have flashed stock ruu.

That's normal. We would need s-off to change it back to locked.

Can flash roms from bootstrap recovery. No need to unlock bootloader.

Today I relocked my bootloader and ruu to stock. I need to bring the phone in over ongoing SIM issues. I am s-off. If I take the ota, will I be able to re-unlock?

Yes, as long as you remain s off

Would I just unlock the way I did the first time? I thought the htcdev unlock didn't work after the update.

I think fastboot oem unlock will work since you are s off. But if that doesn't work then you can flash the same unlock bin token that you did the first time.

If I'm on the latest (2.06) can I restore to an earlier version that is rootable and already unlocked? Or no, sorry relatively new to the processes for HTC phones.

If you are not currently unlocked then no.

Damn so htc doesn't have the unlock on htc.dev yet so okay that answered my question along with my own insinuation. Thank you please come again
Also this is not sarcasm. Reading text can be very misleading

The DNA will (probably) never be on HTCDev. Verizon didn't want it unlockable.

We could raise attention to htc about it by petition

Might make more sense to petition to Verizon since they're the ones keeping us locked.

True but HTC could update the unlock for the latest ota its the least they could do

No, it's not HTC's decision. Verizon took the DNA off the bootloader unlock section of htcdev.

Hi-
I currently have S-OFF configured on my phone. If I apply any stock RUU does it be reset to S-ON? I don't want that.
Thanks
No it doesn't

No

You only have to relock it before applying RUU.

So I wanted to RUU back to 1.15. I had to relock my bootloader but I'm still S-OFF even though it saids relocked. I don't know if its my DNA. I have the Verizon Employee Edition

Bootloader being locked and s-off are two unrelated things
