i need some help guys. I have had an alcatel ot 908 for the past 3 months and have successfully rooted it and installed clockworkmod. However, i made a fatal error after doing so by flashing a custom kernel for the phone, forgetting that the phone had to be on 2.3 gingerbread in order for that kernel to work. Now apparently my phone is bricked and it does have clockworkmod installed but i cant access it via any hardware keys (the only way i did before was typing in "ADB reboot recovery" in cmd). I know this phone is not very popular but i'm still hoping that someone here might be able to help me. From what i'm thinking, I need some way or some program to reformat the whole phone and reinstall the os. I already have the stock os (froyo 2.2) on my computer, i just need a method to push it back onto the phone. Thanks

I've flashed an OT908 and bricked it.. Did you made a nandroid backup before playing? If so, enter recovery and flash it, and it's alive again

After installing a custom rom, my phone got bricked. Now I dont have any ideas how to do it. I even made a backup before installing a custom rom through CWM. But I cannot even boot into CWM because of the bootloop. Please guys. I need help.

Just use One touch upgrade. Connect your phone to your computer and then start the upgrade. Your devices will have an hard- reset, and the cwm will be deleted.

I have a massive problem and I hope you can help me.
I rooted my HTC One X successfully and tried to flash custom roms on it which kind of worked. I put the zip folder on the internat sd card and flashed it without flashing the boot.img.
Finnaly I found out to do that, flashed the boot.img but while installing the ROM the problem code/status 7 appeared and I had to restart the phone in order to put the right rom onto the phone, which i had on my computer.
But while booting, the phone just got stuck in bootloop showing the HTC logo.
I already tried quite a lot of stuff to rescue my phone, for example to restore the nandroid backup - didnt work, flash another backup onto phone - still bootloop, flashed a new rom with boot.img - still bootloop.
The only solution i could find was to unroot the device and flash the stock rom onto it.
Is that really my last resort or is there another way?

Hi guys. I cant get any help on how to backup my Alcatel pop C1. Currently using 4.2.2. Ive made a backup on flashify but i can never boot up into a third party recovery. Only stock Recovery. Im scared of messing up and getting stuck at boot logo. Any help? Thanks

there are 6 versions of this phone
and the latest one 4015x has a different set of partitions
use the diskinfo app from play store
if your DATA partition is "mmcblk0p8 and your system is "mmcblk0p8" then the recoverys and roms that are up at the mo wont work
will probb softbrick your phone
i have modded some recoverys (stock and CWM) and a rom so they work with the diff table
i will be posting them under5 a new post "4015x"
but i would also use the "mobile upgrade" program from alcatel as this can flash the stock rom and get you out of softbrick
this also has a duff recovery with the wrong partition table though

Hi everyone,
I have bricked my device. Like an idiot I hit install on the most recent Sprint update. I was rooted, stock but with custom twrp recovery. After it tried to reboot and install it took me to twrp and won't reboot to the home screen. I can't even get my pc to recognize the device. I also can't get it to install a different rom either, it will say successful with the install but won't boot into the rom.

My Alcatel is stuck in a bootloop. I can access the recovery mode and I know about trwp and flash stock rom but my dilemma is that I never rooted the phone to begin with. So I'm not able to access custom recovery. I want to know is there a way I can root, install trwp and flash stock my phone while it's already soft bricked without a PC that don't have internet. I have another phone and a SD card that I can download the files onto for the Alcatel?
